i got jumpscared by the "it spins" 10/10 video
Im so glad that this reboot didn’t go as bad as with other franchises and instead came out as an improvement to the previous season. Ninjago just doesn’t seem to ever lose its Charme 🎉
Very excited for this dragon. I’ve collected every single dragon in Ninjago’s entire history. From tiny poly bag ones to the massive four headed flagship dragons. I love these things and it makes for a fascinating history seeing them all on a shelf. Thanks for giving me a look at this one Jang!
The new Ninjago suits look fantastic. The criticism that you can't turn the heads is fair, but they look so good that it's forgivable. The figs also look great if you replace the hats with their hair (but keep the masks).
My favorite thing about the non-ninja characters is that they don’t have super blatant logos - you can more easily use them in fantasy and castle Mocs in general’
The color effect on the Dragon Orb is really trippy, makes it hard to tell what colors it actually is. Afaik, it's Transparent Purple with an Opalescent Transparent-Clear inside. Very cool new piece.
I LOVE the highly detailed enemies! WOW!
I think the claw pieces on the enemy vehicle are there to hold the dragon orb. Great review Jang!
This is the best Ninjago dragon set in a long time, imo
I’m definitely getting this set, amazing build and amazing minifigs 😯🔥💯
I love it, but sets like these used to be like $35, and i feel like a lot of kids are being locked out of lego fun due to things not in their control 😢
I love how this dragon looks and the transformation is cool and unique! Cant wait for the other set reviews.
That’s a nice lizard!
i love that red color, i'll be on the lookout for this one
This was perfect timing because I’ve been on the fence about getting this set
i like that this set is well built. Feels like it won’t break. cheers
chima is back the dimensional merge is real
2:15 I believe it's actually trans-clear with opalescence on the inside, with transparent purple on the outside.
I'm not sure why they chose purple for the "lava" element, but it works great with the color scheme here.
I looked at these new energy sphere pieces and I thought of Gungan boomas from Star Wars.
I'm definitely going to get this. And I'm definitely going to convert it into a Mythosaur .
This looks like the Pitbull of Ninjago dragons
I love how they make it look like there is a girth around it’s chest saddles can’t just sit on top of something they need to be secured
This may be one of my fav core dragons!
This is going to be a set I’m definitely getting
The dragon transformation reminds me of the Gundam flight mode transformations where the Gundam basically lies down and the legs are folded up. It works, but IMO doesn't look great and feels a bit lazy. Since it's lego, wouldn't mind a bit of partsforming to get more interesting transformations.
The villains heres look great!
So excited to get that set eventually
I LOVE the Fact that they put so much detail on figures like these for Ninjago!
But it saddens me even more why they can’t do that same quality and details for one of their TOP themes Star Wars sometimes… 😐
Refering to the balljoin (at the head), Lego should produce a variant without spacer/span (like the small ones at the feets) to avoid stick out so ugly (and destroy the overall look).
Looks amazing great review
what i dont like about these new ninja designs is that they are basically just colour swaps. i get that thats how it was in the early days of ninjago, but i really like it when they incorporate small differences into their suits while still making sure they all fit together. just gives them more personality imo
I was curious about this set so, thanks for the details!
Jang bro...so good review I am waiting for new Destinys Bounty Race Against Time...I know you can do that. Can you tell me the release date!!!
Hey Jang, my family and I love your videos. They are our number 1 choice of pre-bedtime chill out.
Can you please leave just 1 or two seconds at the start of your videos? With the tiny phone UX we keep having to scrub back to get to the start of your audio. It starts too quickly!
This set is so worth it with just Wyldfyre minifig alone. She’s just so amazing in the show🔥
It's weird seeing just another sword in ninjago being made so beautifully and looking at what they did to Dark Saber at the same time...
The new ninja hoods are pretty bulky but I like how they look overall
i miss the rc reviews so much do you still drive rc cars? you have no idea how much i have learned from you i just wanted to say thank you
Lego designers for Ninjago: Alright, we need some kinda other action feature for this dragon cause turns out there's a flaw in the sphere shooter function.
But we only have enough of a parts budget to maybe include two specialty molded intricate designed Minifigures and maybe a small 2 by 10 based Hover Speeder!
What if we turned it upside down?
. . .
"Flips"
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHH!!!!!!
😅
Like it or not this is what peak Lego Design looks like.
Are these new launcher spheres compatible with the old Zamor/Thornaxx launchers? They look a little larger than a Zamor sphere so I kind of imagine that they wouldn't fit in a Midak Skyblaster but they might be able to fit with the Thornaxx pieces?
NInjago Bad guys are just the best.
This is the first dragon in a few years that I will not be getting. Which is kind of sad. I’m having to be more particular about what I get, and the hiked up prices don’t help whatsoever in my enjoyment of the hobby. Guess I’ll start doing more moc based enjoyment now than “oooo! Shiny and new!!” Enjoyment
it spin
It spins 😂🤣
so instead of 53 € got it for 32€ for this price its more than solid. even got 30649 woth 4€ for free on top
IT'S BEEN
$55?! I saw the thumbnail and I was thinking $30-$40.
Kind of looks like the Terror Dog from Ghostbusters
Bull, dragon or Dragon bull
lol it spins....
Hi
The whole "transformation" feature just makes no sense to me. This dragon is meant to be an actual creature in the series and the dragon having this "transformation" just does not seem right for a living and organic creature.
If it was a robotic dragon, then I can understand it and be willing to accept it.
In its default form, which is the better one, sort of reminds me of the dragons from the fantasy knights and dragons theme from Mega Blocks many years ago where the dragons had an orb like power on their chest.
As a dragon build, it looks cool. It should have had knees considering Lego has the pieces to make them, but don't. The wings I'm fine with considering not every single dragon needs to fly, or have actual wings to fly.
I just dont understand the "transformation" at all. My honest opinion on it is that I find it stupid.
Great dragon, but it could have been better.
Knees would just make it harder for kids to stand. Knees (and other extra points of articulation) are things AFOLS desire, but kids do not. If the size gets bigger then yes, knees are a welcome addition.
Also, why can't a dragon transform? They are literally made-up creatures.
I mean, they could "grow" or evolve like Pokemon or Digimon, but yeah I get what you mean. Especially when the transformation feels so lazy. The Ice Dragon becoming bipedal for example kind of gives me better "evolution" vibes, although the quadrupedal one feels more imposing.
Lego designers should be ashamed for calling this dragon "transforming"
I'm not going to pull any punches. I think the transformation feature is really lame. Sure it changes the look, but not significant enough to really bill it as a feature. Additionally, the severe lack of articulation in the neck further kills this set for me.
Honestly a lot of the Ninjago sets from the Wave are kind of mid as the kids say
Decent, but once again has way too many pieces that it needs
Someone tell Lego they don’t have to use gold in every ninjago set
