Thanks Jang...we appreciate your practical and honest approach to Lego reviews. Your clear explanations and hands-on demonstrations make it easy for viewers to make informed choices and dive into the world of building with confidence. Greetings from Greece, Athens!
I love watching your lego reviews while i build legos myself. It brings back great memories of my childhood and is very relaxing, thank you for the great vids!
I know I’ve said this before but I really like what you cover in your reviews and your personal outlook towards the models makes so much sense and really shows how all ages will utilize the models and that’s so underrated in my opinion. I have seen many reviews of the same model and still learn more about it from your review and I Thank-you for that and just wanted to say that is why I have started to ween out my review watching and have prioritized your channel which makes my live so much better. Take care & hi from Canada
I like how chunky this mech is. It definitely looks like it's the mech of a guy who has earth as his element because it looks very dwarf. His tiny head is so funny
It is too easy to forget that Lego is (also) a toy and I appreciate Jang pointing that out in the relevant sets. On the other end of the scale, it is easy to think (for kids) that you have to build it like Lego says - as Jang points out at the end: Remixing is kind of the point. I know Lego is moving away from B models but I remember the idea books and I remember that the early technic sets had little sections showing what you could build if you had the set you are building plus one or two others, just to show the possibilities. I think something like that should come back.
i don't understand lego's obsession with making the pilot of the mech visible. i love their mechs, but i can't stand when it doesn't have head protection for the pilot. other than that, i think these new ninjago mechs are solid.
I knew this one was one of my favorites for the wave when the images of it were revealed purely for the bulkiness and color scheme. Gonna be excited to build it since I ordered it earlier today alongside some other sets
I feel like theres just a couple of areas that needed more detail or a tile, the chonk is sacrificed for playability, which is a fine trade-off I guess.
I think it makes more sense to have no head armor for these since they're essentially magic power up armor for the characters and not actual mechs. Magic can stop head shots, easy.
Honestly, I love this thing. I’d love a Rhino or Juggernaut from Marvel using this kind of engineering. It’s very fitting for Ninjago, and I’m hopeful there’s more to come for this kind of build for mechs.
I feel like the head armor criticism is fine enough for something where guns/headshots are a genuine consideration, but lego ninjago is not really one of those settings. It's a silly little mech for kids and it's a genuine design choice to leave the head area open so that the minifigure's own face or head shows through-- if you can't see the minifigure inside, is there even really any point in putting it in there in the first place? Sometimes a bigger windscreen or visor doesn't necessarily work for the look that the designer is going for, and I think that's okay.
Been waiting on this review! Adore the set, those legs certainly needed modification to cover those studs. At least it’s an easy fix, such a great set! Thanks for the great video as usual Jang
So I understand that Lego thinks too much articulation could be a detriment to the play experience and we may never get CCBS level flexibility again, but I feel like wrist articulation is the bare minimum/a requirement. And if you're not gonna do that give us a bionicle style gear function.
This actually looks really cool. Even though lego does a little too many mechs for my taste, sometimes they pull off some very cool and fun looking ones!
The hammer is very cool. One of the things that bummed me out with the Optimus Prime set from last year was the inability to store the weapons this handles that aspect well.
I really like that it can crouch, that's something most Ninjago mecha cannot do. Even the much bigger, more complex ones. I may have to pick this guy and his mates up, surprisingly
Nice review ^_^ looks pretty good for the money. The hollow bulk seems fine (good to point it out though). If could even make up an excuse that it’s in story shock absorbing.
20? That's great. I mean, it feels like the good price. Lego was so expensive since a few years that i got used to see a "little" set like this and think "Looks 20/will be 30". When you take into account that the small 10€/$ mech are usually very skinny, it's a great deal. ps: always make me chuckle when they feel obligated to include an enemy but he's only there to be smashed.
I’m honestly not a fan of the mechs for this January wave, they feel too limited and simplistic for me personally. I do however understand that I’m not the target audience for these builds, and so it’s okay that they’re not meant for me 😅

Legit, it's honestly insane how high quality this channel is and he always strives for improvement.
I’m always happy to see a spot where weapons can be stored / attached. It’s a little thing that makes a set so much nicer.

Oh cool, you can swap the mechs? That’s pretty neat!
Love the chonky body and little claws! Thanks for sharing, Jang!
the pose at the end goes so hard 🔥🔥🔥

First impression wasn't great but seeing it a bit more and how it can be manipulated, it grew on me. Seems like a fun toy.
Cole was my favourite from the very beginning. Orange is my favourite colour. This mech feels almost like a dream.

This reads as a joint-parts pack to me 😅 Impressed with the wolf figure, too
I also loke that you can attach the weapon at its end, for an ultimate smash down.
I like these ninjago mechs. They feel like the ultimate form of the current mech system to make a unique and cool model for a nice price.

And if you're not gonna do that give us a bionicle style gear function.
This reminds me of that brick built lava monster from the "Axl's Tower Carrier" Nexo Knights set
the arms are dissapointing but i think the waist swivel will be great for more dynamic poses, looking forward to the white and pink mech!
Nice new chonky parts to bulk up Nexo Knight's Infernox.
I feel like this is a perfect mech, if not for the hammer, witch i think highlights the limited poseability of the arms.
If they'd put a ball pin in the handle, and a mixels cup into the palm, it would be far more flexible.
The swappability of parts is giving me Medabots vibes in the best way.
This actually looks really cool. Even though lego does a little too many mechs for my taste, sometimes they pull off some very cool and fun looking ones!

If you got the earth dragon, this set is AMAZING to make it better!
9/10 set, wish they made hammer not spinny

Nice review ^_^

My favorite out this wave of Ninjago mechs
I agree with you about the minifigure head. It looks so funny!
This is one of those buy it if I see it in a store kinda sets
I have been loving these new mechs so much!
This gives me Rock Lords vibes.
The wolf villain looks like Bluey.
don't know why but remermber me the "NON ZERO STUDIO : 1/100 THOR" gunpla ..

This set and some of the others are kinda making me wanna catch up with the show tbh
This reminds me of Tremor from Mortal Kombat universe 🪨
All about the tasteful chonk!
I like bulky armor but this looks really goofy
I’m honestly not a fan of the mechs for this January wave, they feel too limited and simplistic for me personally. I do however understand that I’m not the target audience for these builds, and so it’s okay that they’re not meant for me 😅
Jang buddy slow down you’re spoiling us x3
interesting one
? No hairpiece for Cole? Uh..why not, Lego?
Nice try by Lego, but there is a LOT of room for improvement!🙂👍
😊
I only watch videos about Lego mechs long enough to see if they have knees and elbows. Another disappointment.😕
99% of Lego mechs don't have those.
