new update: if your tablet has a USB-C port, then you can still use the finger mouse; you just need a USB-C connector to connect the USB receiver for the 2.4 wifi version of the finger mouse. i had one from my samsung Galaxy 8 phone available so i am ready to roll. thank you Quilted Poodle!
It's an in inexpensive off brand I got on Amazon. Works great. Availability comes & goes for them on Amazon. A number of my QCT online students have purchased them too. Check us out, Quiltedpoodle.com

The finger mouse is Bluetooth & does not require USB
