😂 I thought the same at first but I googled it and it's slow release fertilizer but since buying and repotting my plants I did get fungus gnats and I've been wondering if it's from the soil or one of the plants I ordered from two different nurseries......so now I'm planting yellow sticky traps letting my plants dry out, insecticidal soap, changed the earth and every time I think I've won I see one just one fungus gnat, now I know why people were always going on about them. I even sprayed one plant with windex because I was holding it when I saw the gnat, screaming die die die! I never knew I could be so vicious. 🥴

😂😂😂 oh man.. those knats are relentless! I remember my very first plants were a couple large dieffenbachias, which I knew nothing about at the time.. I over watered them so much that they got a severe case of fungus knats which overwhelmed me till I gave up and threw them out.
I'm still very skeptical about the beads in finding in the bags because they really do look and break like eggs.. an as you mentioned, I have no idea where they're coming from (excluding overwatered plants). 🤷🏾‍♀️

New to you I've watched a few videos and I'm loving it so far❤❤.
Ps. It's hard to hear you, especially with the music 🎶 might want to try speaking up a little until you get a mic 🎤.

And yes, noted (regarding volume), thank you. 🙏🏾 I've since purchased a mic so it SHOULD 👀 be good going forward lol

Yes, thanks for confirming.. someone else said that also. I used to think so too early in my plant parent journey but then I heard from another popular (and seemingly knowledgeable) TH-camr that they were eggs. Oh well! Lol thanks again for confirming this

Oh yeah? 😮 I thought so too at some point but then I saw green ones in the soil of another plant I purchased some time ago and they didn't look or feel the same. They feel and break like eggs 🤭 oh man.. thanks for letting me know 😄🙏🏾
