@bobcatforever3485 300 yards is really long for a 17. It was fun to see how it would do. We are happy you liked the video and thanks for watching. Kenny ASO

@user-qt6ob4yy6c She has a lot of recoil. It’s manageable. The 17 Mike has and the 22 mag Ruger precisions are some of the funniest guns to shoot. Thanks for watching and commenting. Kenny @ ASO
If you don’t mind I’d like your $.02. Just purchased the same rifle, just for something fun and cheap to shoot, as well as 2 scopes. 1st is a Leupold vx3hd 3.5-10x50 and Vortex Diamondback 6-24x50. Which one would you recommend I install on this Ruger? Realize the Vortex is stronger than this gun will reach but got a great deal on both and the other one will replace the Bushnell on a Rem 700 .270. Appreciate your taking the time to entertain us at 300 yards 😃
@@ITSNOTMEITISYOU Thank you for watching and commenting. Personally I would put the 3.5-10x50 on the .17 cal and the 6-24x50 on the .270. The .270 has a lot more range and I would like the higher magnification for that. Thanks for watching. Kenny @ ASO.
Took my Savage B17 suppressed out today at 300 and was able to hit a 10inch shoot n see no problem. My strelok app called for 12.5 MOA with 20 grain cci fmj
@mr.kenslifeshop4034. Thanks for watching and commenting. We appreciate it. The bipod on this gun is a utg. We have several different ones. Mike has some Magpul and UTG’s. I run an Atlas BT-47 on all my rifles. It has a quick detach and I move it from rifle to rifle. The down side is it’s really expensive. I have a Harris style one as well. Choosing one depends on what you are wanting to use it for. If you just bench or prone shoot then any will work. If you are needing the bipod to cant or adjust quickly then some of this my no work for your application. Just pick one that will fit your needs. Thanks for commenting and if you have anymore questions please feel free to ask. Kenny@ASO
@May-yc6ic. Thanks for watching and commenting. The brake on Mike’s .17 is from Primary Arms. It’s for a 22 caliber and is a tanker style. We have more videos on the Ruger Precision coming. I just picked one up in 22wmr.
Only ammo to use is Hornady. 17gr v max, tried every ammo on the market 99% suck at best. Hollow point are the worst. Noone has shot a .17 more than me and my buddy PERIOD. I know it will shoot 387yds 200yrd shots all day.
Good video. That is a really long ways to shoot a 17 HMR. I am amazed that your groups were that good. Thanks for sharing. Take care.

You better put a heating pad on that shoulder from all that recoil.😂

@thezohan3129. We ended up at 10.5 moa with the 17 grain. Thanks for the info for the 20 grain Thanks for watching and commenting. Kenny ASO.
the bolt on my 22 rpr likes to pop up when carrying it around on my back which is annoying lol. it will sometimes go back and cycle and waste a round

Hey man love your vids. I just picked this gun up and wondering what the muzzle brake you’re using is? I can’t find one for a .17

Ok thanks for the comment back!
Amazing for a rice size bullet.
@markthomas9687. Thanks for watching and commenting. The .17 is a little round. Super fun to shoot.
Wow!!
It’s a good thing you put a comp on that thing or it might get away from you!!
