I hope the bond works out! I know the feeling. My bun lost his friend almost a year ago! We had 7 bonds fail before we found his perfect match! A Flemish giant, ( he is a cashmere dwarf lop 1kg and she is 5kg ) and they are adorable together!! Can’t even go to the toilet without each other! It takes time but it will work out in the end.
I feel like it definitely could work out w the buns if you're willing to wait a while. Also marathon car or carrier bonding is an option if you really wanted to altho car and carrier bonding is stress bonding so it up to you
Thank you! I’m trying to avoid stress bonding as much as possible. I’m willing to give it time but I also want to keep in mind that the rescue has other bunnies available! I don’t want to force an incompatible bond because I’m personally attached to him if there may be better matches for Luna out there!
@@ellievictoria8402 it's not "abusive" rabbits will have to go into a car to go to the vet about 1-2 times a year, so why not bring along another bunny that they're already bonding with them? My two bunnies came from the same place unbonded and on the drive home they where together and comforted each other and bonded. Yes I don't think you should stress bond if you don't need to but it's not abusive.
I'm so sorry their bond isnt working, i really hope it works out somehow because hes so sweet and adorable. I feel so bad for Luna shes such a sweet girl. I watch your videos all the time and I have two guinea pigs, by watching your videos i've been able to give my girls a great life. I wanted to say thank you for all your advice on everything. I really appreciate it. Also I was wondering if you dont mind, where do you get the willow twisty stick chew and the sea grass chew in cinnamon and sage's cage?
Oh that’s so sad the rabbits can’t bond 😢 I really feel for you because both are such sweet rabbits. If he goes back to the rescue I so hope someone amazing like you adopts him 🥺 he clearly loves affection
Tbh the best method for rabbits is starting at small space then increase don’t separate they will fight tbh it’s sadly rabbits are territorial and separating and kinda dragging out the process by keeping them side by side doesn’t often work I find
Yeah I have noticed at least with the owners I have talked to and my own the smaller breeds like lionheads, Netherland dwarfs, mini lops and such have big personalities while also they can be very dominate/territorial 😆 All bunnies no matter the size of course can have different personalities but the smaller ones just seem to mostly the same while medium to larger breeds are more likely to have chill personalities 🐇
@@autumngrace. Oh yeah I forgot sorry in Australia we call them mini lops while the USA they are called Holland. I have no idea why though 😆 Luckily for smaller breed owners their loving side matches with their level of sassiness 🤣
I have heard of ways to bond by driving them around in a crate or kennel for like 15 minutes and then putting them in like a small cardboard box for a few hours until they calm down and as time goes on, just kind of move them to a bigger and bigger area and offer them like hay and water in the pens I am sorry it’s not working ❤
I don’t want to do the carrier method because I’m trying to avoid stress bonding methods! I did do a small space bonding method but it didn’t quite go as planned! Still figuring things out
I hate the bunny bonding isn't going well, especially with as much time and effort as you have put in. It's good the rescue let's you try again, i remember when you took Luna there and I'm kind of suprised they matched her with a bunny so much younger. Hopefully you can find a good buddy for her soon!
Yes it’s a shame, but I do feel I’ve learned more about Lunas personality and that’s helpful! I actually never took her to a rescue location, as my local rescue is actually a foster network and not like a building. I am a little surprised as well, I suggested maybe an older bunny will work better! We will see ☺️
Theoretically they could - but my long term goal for my bunnies is full time free roaming like I used to do with Crow & Luna. I just don't have enough room in this apartment to give them both large enough areas for full free roam. And managing the alternating time out of the pens can get complex when I have a busy day. If I had a larger place, I'd consider it! But my #1 priority is finding Luna a compatible match and bonding them & working back up to full free roam. Rabbits get so much out of having a bonded friend (grooming and cuddling etc.) that aren't a priority to gpigs so I feel they don't get as much out of side by side.
I love the cleaning. Really relaxing to watch your video. 🥰🥰
The way you greet the piggies and they greet you is the sweetest thing ever ❤
Have fun on your trip! Yes he's so sweet!
Thank you!!
Oh hes so cute, i really hope you can keep him, looks like he trusts you alot.
He is such a beautiful bunny, I really hope you can bond them, if not we will sure miss seeing him on your videos

I love the pink boots
thanks! they're my cage cleaning shoes lol
You could take them to the rescue together and have them bond them for a couple days! I did it and it worked
My rescue is more of a foster network so they don't have a central location and they don't offer bonding services.

Bye have a nice trip😊😊
Where did you get the little flower garland that you have on their cages? I’ve been looking for a decently full one and I haven’t found one!
It's from Michaels!
How did you find your pet sitter? Have you used any of the pet sitting sites?

Aw thank you, that means a lot! I'm fairly sure those chews are from Binky Bunny!
Have you tried to switch them into each other pens? That’s partially how I bonded my tough pair!
Yes I have been doing that for the last few months ☺️
I also recommend 101 rabbits if you do t already follow them they have a good a amount of bonding videos
Where do you get your fleece?
Joanns!

Mini lops are actually the larger lop from what I’ve heard! Holland lops are the small ones. But yes he definitely has a big personality 😂😂

Hi Autumn. Do they know their names? I hope the bunnies get along better. Why do your pets, have pets?
I'm sorry that their bonding isn't working out right now, I'm still hoping it will

What happened to the other bunny?
Crow, the black lop? He passed away in December.

Too bad they cannot live side by side if the bonding fails.
