I switched to that style years ago and to be honest the only difference is that the Turkey doesn’t have flavor at first but then after the second chew it’s more flavorful than I guess what we’d call “regular” pepperoni.
Why didn't you say something? Speaking as a parent, she probably kept buying it because she thought you liked it. This happens to us with our kids all the time.

I never was a fan of the Chef Boyardee traditional pizza kit, the sauce in it is to sweet. But the Chef Boyardee pepperoni pizza kit is good.
