ciao Roberto complimenti da un "vecchio" collega. Finalmente dall'Italia arriva qualcosa di nuovo e devastante!! Bravissimo, ti ammiro molto e a chi dice che eventualmente "sei tutta tecnica" (frase stupidissima) rispondi sempre: sì, io studio. Love from Genova

Grande Roberto ! Bellissima dimostrazione del tuo grande talento unito ad una tecnica da paura. Saro' pazzo..ma in te vedo l'evoluzione del Vinnie style...
It’s mainly a lot of shredding, which he is top levelled skilled in. But I miss a lot of the real jawdropping elegance in the simplicity yet complexicity of real rhythm nowadays. The most drummers are tremendous at playing high speed chops and variations. But i don’t feel the urge of moving my butt to the beat anymore which is for me (and this is very subjective yes) the essence of playing music.
1:33 for this nice slow brake it part ...after fury ....i like it ....of nothing is good ...too much ....balance and messure is top of all virtue ...especialy in music disciplines of instruments ....great band is only one that find musicians that give space to others and use their virtuoso for painting into bigger thing that is music peace of them all parttaking in creation of it
I made the effort to watch it until the end as a sign of respect for the contest winner, and well, the least I can say is that it’s not my cup of tea …
This is amazing drumming, however, he's got to live up to this for the rest of his life now. I'd hate to be in that position. I'll stick to simplicity and peace of mind. Amazing drumming though, for sure.
Between this guy and Riccardo Merlini, I want to know two things. 1) how much parmigianno reggiano do they eat and 2) what are they putting in the water in Italy? 😆

Impressive in many ways but when did bursts of strokes become as important as breathing rhythms? Or as it seems in many solo videos more important.
Grande Roby
❤️❤️❤️
Wes Anderson's new stop-motion film puts the octopus from Moana into Birdman & Whiplash and shut up and take my money 🔥

He'll probably just keep getting better, can't wait to see what he does.
So what… live up to it
You’re right though .. with time taste will surpass the need to play for the drummers in the front row….
This solo is relying mostly on his undoubtedly Freaking Awesome technique.
Musicality and Groove are other stuffs
