Hey, James ! If I wasn't living in Australia, I'd be at The Kitchen once a month ! Loved your American tour TV series ! Greeno did us all a great favor by going to your restaurant. All the best to you and your family, and the staff at your restaurant.
That meal looked delicious. Full credit to James and his team. As you said, it’s good to see a celebrity chef whose restaurant lives up to expectations.
According to someone I spent some time with, who knew him well, he is just as he comes across on telly. A decent, solid bloke with no nonsense behaviour.
@@GreenoEats Aye mate, I was on holiday in Turkey a few years ago with my , very old, Auld Dear and we spent many a night in the company of another oldster and we happened to talk about cooking and I mentioned I watched James Martin on a Saturday morning. I agree with you 100%, Greeno. I've always liked James Martin. His TV series tour of the US was fantastic. Right up there with the Hairy Bikers. Good to see him giving the customers what they want and not disappointing them like most other celebrity chefs. Thanks, and all the best, Greeno !
You can immediately see the difference between a franchise and a restaurant where the celebrity chef actually owns it and is engaged. When a celebrity restaurant is just franchised out, but the food is sub-par, it's difficult for the protagonist to pull them into line after the franchisee has spent maybe millions to get the franchise.
What a review, WOW. In my humble opinion your mouthwatering meal was worth every penny. Totally agree with you that the combination of asparagus (in Germany we prefer the white asparagus) with hollandaise sauce is just heavenly. But you had bernaise sauce which for me is the queen of all the sauces. Besides the tarragon the making is a little bit different. Waiting for your next review.
Vielen Dank Ulli ! I like the white asparagus too, but we don't see it often in the UK. And bearnaise is my absolute favourite sauce, goes great with fish, steak, chicken.
One of the very few celeb restaurants where the food lives up to the chef rep. All of that looked amazing. Wow. Def worth it for a treat if that's the quality
Looks amazing especially for a special occasion, hats off to Mr Martin, he's not pretentious but simply gives dinners a real treat and something to remember, I'm very impressed would like to go to training day and sample that beautiful food.
Locally produced meat excellent you don't mind paying for quality, as I always say you wouldn't go every week etc but for the exceptional quality of ingredients presented beautifully it was well worth it. You and Gary do full excellent reviews Glad you enjoyed ❤
Thank you for this review Greeno. James Martin is my favourite chef and I watch him every Saturday morning. Made my day that you really enjoyed your meal. I did ask Gary to review a James Martin restaurant but I expect he will at some stage! X
Why have service charges now become obligatory? They were always added at the customers discretion to indicate good service. I like to think I tip generously when it has been merited, but I tend to steer clear of restaurants where it is automatically assumed that it has been earned. Thanks for warnings us, I will steer clear of this place.
You gave this restaurant its due. As you and Gary and others have shown, celebrity restaurants are not always free of problems but when they’re good you’ve got to be honest about it. Best fish and chips of my life happened to be at Heston Blumenthal’s The Perfectionist’s Café at Terminal 5 Heathrow. Not an overly large portion but fair, and the quality and technique were first rate. They recommended a fizzy gin cocktail with it and it was brilliant.
Yes - I can only call as I find - it could be a cheap cafe or a top end restaurant - if the food's good I will say so and if it's bad I will say so. And in this case it was excellent, you can tell the name above the door actually has real input into the place. I don't fly out of Heathrow as much as I once did, but next time I will check out that Heston Blumnthalplace, thanks for the tip!
Relative to some of the other celebrity places you’ve been, this isn’t expensive at all! The amount of food and the quality of what you get, far outweighs the cost of it. I live down the bottom of the country but I really want to visit one of his places now 😅 looks beautiful! Great review 😊 thanks!
Every course looked amazing and I could almost taste it. I once ate in a James Martin restaurant while on a cruise and that was delicious. When I win the lottery, I want to go to that restaurant and have a full three course meal. Great video, congratulations James.
Ooooh, that ALL looked gorgeous. As you say, great quality and whilst clearly not a cheap meal.. A fabulous experience. Liked allof your choices but the starter, in particular, appealed to me. A lovely restaurant for a treat or special occasion. Thank you for bringing that review to us. Yum!!!!! 😋

Great trip out for you Greeno and it is indeed a credit to James Martin. After a little research online; James did indeed grow up with pig and cattle farming. So you did indeed honour him with your choice of that beautiful pork chop with jus and those lovely extra elements. Top Drawer! 👌😊
That was an exceptional review. I liked everything you ordered. James Martin is one of my personal favourite Chefs. That salmon starter would have done me as a main dish. But that pork chop. Mmmmmmmmmmm. Although that is a bit pricey, I think I'd be happy paying for the extra quality.
Yes, although the price on paper makes me wince a bit, I came away thinking it was worth it - great location, excellent produce and exceptional cookery and service.
Great video Greeno. Came here a while ago from some fella called Gary. You're right up there. Nice to see you trying food that isn't the usual review kind of stuff.
It's in thegrounds of a properly swanky country hotel - always going to be top end price-wise... but at least this time the quality actually matched the price tag :-)
The food looked very good and the serving size was decent. The price for the salmon was more than reasonable for what you got although I prefer the skin on and crispy cooked, there’s nothing like it. The setting was beautiful and this would truely make for a romantic lunch or dinner. Also, it was refreshing to see the manager being hands on and obviously noticing you filming. He’s a keeper. How nice was that?!...having the restaurant to yourself & personal attention. Great presentation Greeno. James Martin is renowned for his desserts & puds, & it looked like that one was really special. I love a pud! You will defo have to take Mrs Greeno along for a special occasion one day but may need to re-mortgage the house to do so!! Very expensivex J x😊
That pork chop looks so delicious. I love salmon as well, so you picked just what I would have, it all looked so high quality. The dessert as well, looked like art on a plate. Nice to have a treat and do a high end place sometimes, and one that lives up to the name as well.
James, is a fellow Yorkshireman, his father worked just outside of my home city of York at Castle Howard when James was a young boy. Two of his grandparents lived in York and James trained formerly as a chef at the Scarborough tech college, 42 miles from York. He bloomed as a student at Scarborough tech college. a very great chef. 9:21
First saw you with Gary eats, then with your Daughter, today your review was excellent, look foward to the next one.Well done Thank you. Sheila & Patrick.
Hi Greeno. I actually went to James Martin's restaurant in Manchester in August. It was an office night out and thankfully I wasn't paying. However, the food was actually superb and I would gladly have paid myself. I had a pork belly starter, sirloin steak and rhubarb and custard dessert and, like you, cleared every plate. Not somewhere I would normally think of going but definitely somewhere I'd go for a special occasion.
Beautiful decor and outside area. The Elderflower drink sounded really nice. I rarely eat fish but the salmon with the salad also looked really good. I also don't eat meat, but it seems you really enjoyed it. Interesting review. I'd try it for the veggie options. Not in my usual price range, but would be good for a special occasion! Good value for the experience.
Excellent review Greeno! The meal looked great! This video is the closest I will come to enjoying the Kitchen as it is quite out of my price range, plus I live in the States so its a bit far!
First time I've seen your channel and james martin is my favourite cheff so happy you gave him a good review and I liked the way you explained everything thanks for sharing ❤😂🎉🎉🎉❤❤
Outside of fish and chip shops and various buffets, I had not seen you review an expensive restaurant (I’m kind of new here). I have to say your every critique and description of the food was beyond excellent. You made me want to hop a jet (from Ohio) and fly there to experience it. Your review was a five out of five. Thank you.
Great! video. Good quality food comes at a price. The dessert, appears to be quite generous! Although, the 12.5% service charge puts me off, which adds quite a considerable amount added to the bill.
Thanks again Greeno, your comments about James Martin coming in once a month to his restaurants etc. says it all compared to what I enjoyed watching Gary eats and your thoughts about various Gordon Ramsay's restaurants, I doubt he even cares.
Can’t fault anything there , so pleased a celebrity chefs restaurant has come out as a great place to go to and the food looked stunning . You gave this place a great review. Excellent 👍🤩👏
I have to be honest that I have really been put off going to a celebrity resaraunt, the quality of what i have seen by vicariously living through yourself and others has been very lack luster but, if it was not the price, the looks of this one is impressive. That salmon looked totally amazing (I love salmon lol)
Celebrity chef restaurants are indeed often disappointing, as they are no more than a famous name above the door. But you can tell James Martin has a real input into this place, the quality and standards are top notch.
@@GreenoEats I think the trouble is exactly that, they have so minimal input into their restaurants and they are essentially a chain restaurants so they could not physically do so. This leads to standards lowering and prices being expected to reflect the name above the door, as you said. It is sad because you watch these chefs produce amazing meals on the telly or internet and that is what you expect. I think you said it best when you went to rick steins (a food hero of mine too) restaurant, "Never meet your heroes".
Hi Greeno i have just subscribed to your channel also thanks to gary eats 😊 you are very thorough and descriptive and a calm pleasure to view thankyou 🎉
Paint me green and call me envious! That looked amazing! I might not have had room for dessert - but I'd have definitely given the starter and main a good go! Dessert-wise, I'd have had to go for something without berries (allergy) so the dark chocolate ice cream might've been my selection!
Hi greeno. Your at my favourite celebrity chef. James Martin. You lucky thing. Also a beautiful place. Hope you enjoy sure you will. Ann in Cumbria.xx. 😊
Greeno, James Martin when he was younger was a real dish himself. He grew up at Castle Howard a few miles from York and learned a lot of skills as a kid in the Castle Howard kitchens since his parents worked there. I do love his cooking style and recipes and I often use a cookbook I still use that was signed by him when he opened a Wilcos in York (how down to earth can that be? ). That starter was so so a choice I would make every day and so would that main. I am envious of you having such a wonderful meal but not of course the end cost. I would have gnawed that bone for sure. And the pudding was to kill for. You lucky man !
I did feel lucky to have eaten there. Every part of the meal was great - the grounds that the restaurant sits in, the decor, the staff and the service. All top notch!
Price is relative, you are paying for quality ingredients of which there were many in those dishes and the expertise of the people cooking them. It's clear from the high standards in all aspects of the place that James Martin keeps a close eye on things, unlike some celebrity owned establishments, so worth the money and a definite green light. I would love to eat there myself!
Another fun review , I'm sure you and Mrs Greeno have an anniversary😍🥰 coming up , book now . All the food looked well cooked . Not sure why they felt it necessary to have three different sauce / toppings , too much going on for me . I have to agree with other comments on the paltry amount of the mash . Regardless of the amount of butter , which thankfully did not hide the actual potato flavour , I'm sorry, but even pretty piping does not disguise the fact that there was very little on the plate. As always looking forward to your next review . That was a desert for two .
It was an exceptional meal - and even with multiple sauces everything was still well balanced, and meant that you could get different flavour profiles with each mouthful. The mash could have been a slightly bigger portion, but to be fair, I had planned to film another review elsewhere later in the day but had to cancel that plan as I was too full to go eat somewhere else!
Wow, that looked great, top portions too. The Delice is a tremendous dessert. All that wss missing was a piece of bread to mop up the leftover gravy/sauce
Wowser 😮what fantastic food I love James Martin he’s my favourite celeb chef 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🩷🩷I knew it would be 😊 what a treat Greeno great video xxxxx🩷my birthday Saturday pity it’s so far away😢
The Hollandaise was surely Béarnaise...? ! Otherwise an extremely good, detailed review of what is a fine restaurant living well up to Chewton Glen's reputation. I really DO want to go there, again! Last there for a VERY special occasion in 1976. Many thanks again, Greeno.
It was close to béarnaise, but I think that there were other herbs in the mix beyond tarragon, so probably can’t call it that. If you get the chance I would definitely recommend revisiting.
Expensive, but that food all looked fabulous! One tiny point, though, the starter could have had a baby tomato or two , simply for the colour. Great review!!
Well I saw the salmon and I was impressed. The asparagus beautiful. My favourite meal is salmon and greens and new potatoes or roasted garlic and peppers. Beautiful looking chop. If you weigh your cooked potatoes and add the same amount in weight of butter then season it, then it should be beautiful like that. I can't remember where I heard that. It may have been the Two Fat Ladies. The colours of those vegetables was lovely and they looked so fresh. I could see you were really enjoying that. I would have chewed the bone. But not licked the plate. 😅😅. Presentation is excellent. What a treat. I thought the elderflower drink was quite pricey though. 👍
I guess the drinks prices are set to suit the general pricing strategy! The foor was really exceptional all round Denise. Your spud to butter ration there wounds about right to me :-)
Hi Greeno, wow you are dining top tier today! I have to say firstly, although the food looks exceptional, as a butcher there is no way in hell id pay £34 for a pork chop no matter what size it was! Pork is the one meat that hasnt gone up in price since forever. Beef & Lamb have skyrocketed in the last 3 years but not pork. Im not a Salmon fan but by gum that looked like a fantastic piece of fish. I DO appreciate the work that went into cooking and presenting your meal but just feel the prices were a bit salty for me! Great review tho! Thanks for sharing!👍👏👏👏♥️
Not the kind of money I would normally shell out on a meal, but it really was an exceptional experience. Maybe as a special treat (I have to say that as Mrs Greeno will surely want to go sometime!)
Um? Pork has increased in price just like everything! And of course you wouldn't pay £34 for a pork chop, You are paying £34 for a quality prepared meal in a high established restaurant designed by a world renowned chef and cooked and prepared by well trained staff he oversees. The costs include the running of the general business and profit! You don't have attend this place or buy anything, But those that do can enjoy that experience.
With James Martin you can only expect excellence and proffesinlism ...The restaurant again only reflects James Martins passion for food and cooking the best food and ingredients for his customer's. Although the final bill was steep. It was good value for money...A great review greeno...A final word. That meal looked Michelin star quality...James Martin. A trusted name and brand ...
Looked great and some different dishes from usual. I watch a few channels and tbh I couldn’t care less if I didn’t see a full English breakfast or fish and chips again 😂
Oh, you poor bugger! Having to go to the Chewton Glen. 🤣 We recently had a pork chop at The Pig in Brockenhurst. Never had pork cooked so well. I live out at Fordingbridge in the forest. Nice review.
I'm thinking of reviewing one of the Pig places soon (hard life I know!) - there's one closer to me at Studland, which I think has sea views, could be that one!
Hi Greeno, that whole meal looked absolutely delicious! Really top quality. I'm in Australia, so your total bill would be around $150 AUD for me. Definitely beyond my current budget, but fabulous food & location. Wouldn't be surprised if Gary & son head there at some stage as it looks so tempting. 😊
I think the Walsall FC team stayed down there in the past (mid 90s) 🤣 Another wicked video Greeno! I personally thought the food looked fantastic! Take care buddy ….Smithy
You did an excellent review . Wow what a beautiful food James has come up with. Think your need to get a second mortgage if you carry on eating in those places. Well done again Best Mark
Thanks Mark - yes this place is normally outside of my price range, but if I am going to review food I guess I have to cover the whoe range from cheap to expensive :-)
I'm the guy who said, "You are an Adopted american now", after eating chips with your Italian cuisine....lol. But, I mean, that food looks mouth watering good, especially the Salmon! Gee, would you adopt me to the UK for some of that scrumptiousness??? LoL.
@@GreenoEats might want to do that.....reminds me of the quality of food I ate at Mamas seafood restaurant on Maui Island, Hawaii.... different aesthetic, for sure, but a similar satisfying experience!
@@GreenoEats It's actually called Mamas fish house,.....and when you're done eating you can stroll the incredible palm tree shore line it's built on.....truly a memorable experience I hope you get to visit upon....Thanks again.
We went here for my birthday as James is my favourite chef but I was so disappointed. The curry I chose didn't have any depth. I really wish I'd chosen something else. A bonus would have been meeting James 😊😊😊😊
That's a pity, I went with the pork as I thought that would be a menu item he'd really know his way around. You can always book for lunch on one of the days he is hosting his cookery classes, you might get to meet him then!
Thanks, I appreciate that - perhaps a little more mash would have been nice, but I was too full after the meal to consider filimg another video that day (which had been the original plan!)
Hi all, time for me to splash the cash on another celebrity chef owned restaurant - but will it be worth it? Tell me what you think!!
I have to say that it was truly exceptional - a lot of money, but worth every penny as a special treat!!
A tad steep but you're paying for the name again but looks decent enough pal.😁
Fantastic venue for a special treat..as said you font mind paying iff its good and that looked top notch ..great camera work to ..nice

You will defo have to take Mrs Greeno along for a special occasion one day but may need to re-mortgage the house to do so!! Very expensivex J x😊
Yes, I will take Mrs Greeno one day (without the camera!)
That pork chop looks so delicious. I love salmon as well, so you picked just what I would have, it all looked so high quality. The dessert as well, looked like art on a plate. Nice to have a treat and do a high end place sometimes, and one that lives up to the name as well.
It really was a treat, and to come away from an expensive place feeling like it was actually worth the money!
Finally a breath of fresh air, nice one James.true Brit 😊😊
Yes, a “celebrity chef” restaurant that’s actually worth visiting, it’s a miracle!
Good info, thanks!
😊
First saw you with Gary eats, then with your Daughter, today your review was excellent, look foward to the next one.Well done Thank you. Sheila & Patrick.
Glad you are enjoying the content, I appreciate the kind words!!
That's the second recommendation for his Manchester joint - it's going on the list !
It's actually located on a floor above a casino so take plenty of money 😂😂😂
Beautiful decor and outside area. The Elderflower drink sounded really nice. I rarely eat fish but the salmon with the salad also looked really good. I also don't eat meat, but it seems you really enjoyed it. Interesting review. I'd try it for the veggie options. Not in my usual price range, but would be good for a special occasion! Good value for the experience.
For sure it's a pricey affair eating there. But as a treat... the venue, service and cookery were just fab
Greeno that pork chop looked fantastic with lovely buttery mash and veg. Looked a nice portion as well
It was a good portion, the pork chop was substantial, as was the veg portion. And plenty of butter used everywhere!!
Pricey but Nicey as my darling Wife would say, that salmon was a real winner and Asparagus is the food of the gods imo. Fab review Greeno cheers 😊👍
Pricey but Nicey - I like that !
Excellent review Greeno! The meal looked great! This video is the closest I will come to enjoying the Kitchen as it is quite out of my price range, plus I live in the States so its a bit far!
Ha ha - it's out of my normal price range too !
Great review. All points well put across and a good watch!
Thanks Dave, I really appreciate that!!
First time I've seen your channel and james martin is my favourite cheff so happy you gave him a good review and I liked the way you explained everything thanks for sharing ❤😂🎉🎉🎉❤❤
I was very impressed with this place. Sure it was pricey, but my goodness it was good 🙂
we all need a treat now and again, good review mate
We absolutely do!
Wow!! What a treat that would be.....looked amazing 🎉
It was stunning - the prices made me wince a little at first, but I came away feeling like it was worth the money.
Beautiful Restaurant Greeno! A wonderful review as usual 🎉😅
Thanks, I appreciate that!
Pork is my favourite meat, particularly a chop, and that looked delicious. Expensive place but somewhere to go as a treat
The pork was outstanding !
Thank you.
That is so kind of you to say so, thank you :-)
Great! video. Good quality food comes at a price. The dessert, appears to be quite generous! Although, the 12.5% service charge puts me off, which adds quite a considerable amount added to the bill.
The service was great though, and I am always happy to tip for good service. It's a fab restaurant though, really enjoyed it!
Thanks again Greeno, your comments about James Martin coming in once a month to his restaurants etc. says it all compared to what I enjoyed watching Gary eats and your thoughts about various Gordon Ramsay's restaurants, I doubt he even cares.
You really can tell the difference between the places that top chefs still have a hand in, and the ones where it's just a name above the door.
Gosh I'm hungry now. Great review Greeno. Pricey but yummy 😋
I appreciate the kind words, thanks!
Can’t fault anything there , so pleased a celebrity chefs restaurant has come out as a great place to go to and the food looked stunning . You gave this place a great review. Excellent 👍🤩👏
It was a great experience from start to finish, glad you enjoyed the review!
Fantastic looking plates and flavours😊
It truly was
I have to be honest that I have really been put off going to a celebrity resaraunt, the quality of what i have seen by vicariously living through yourself and others has been very lack luster but, if it was not the price, the looks of this one is impressive.
Very kind of you to say so!!
Paint me green and call me envious!
That looked amazing! I might not have had room for dessert - but I'd have definitely given the starter and main a good go! Dessert-wise, I'd have had to go for something without berries (allergy) so the dark chocolate ice cream might've been my selection!
Normally I don’t bother with dessert myself, but as the rest of the meal was so good I just had to try one!
Hi greeno. Your at my favourite celebrity chef.
James Martin.
You lucky thing.
Also a beautiful place.
Hope you enjoy sure you will.
Ann in Cumbria.xx. 😊
It was a tremendous meal !
Yep, agreed 100% - the actual input from the chef here makes all the difference!
Also, I don’t mind paying a bit extra for well trained, efficient service 😁
@GreenoEats 🤣🤣 oh dear a food reviewer to full to eat 😋
@@catherineparr5489 I know - the equivalent of a sportsman moaning about having to play 2 matches in quick succession - need recovery time haha!
@@GreenoEats Patience Greeno , you have to build up your stamina . We are with you .
Wow, that looked great, top portions too. The Delice is a tremendous dessert. All that wss missing was a piece of bread to mop up the leftover gravy/sauce
I probably could have got a slice of bread for an extra fiver haha!
@@GreenoEats Haha, probably mate 😂. Atleast it was good though this time, unlike Gordon's spot.
Wowser 😮what fantastic food I love James Martin he’s my favourite celeb chef 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🩷🩷I knew it would be 😊 what a treat Greeno great video xxxxx🩷my birthday Saturday pity it’s so far away😢
It really was excellent - pricey, but excellent. And Happy Birthday for Saturday - I hope you have a great day!
Looks wonderful. Not sure why you thought capers could be a clash with smoked salmon though as it's a classic combination. Thanks for the review.
I just thought perhaps that the punch of flavour of the capers might overpower the delicate smoke on the salmon. I was wrong!!
Expensive yes. But that looked an amazing venue. The salmon looked so good. That pork chop was massive.
Spot on there!!
Cracking video Greeno..beautiful food and restaurant with attentive service..well worth paying extra..look forward to your next video 👍🏽
Thanks, glad you enjoyed the video - I certainly enjoyed my lunch!
Expensive, but that food all looked fabulous! One tiny point, though, the starter could have had a baby tomato or two , simply for the colour. Great review!!
It was a stunning meal all round
Your spud to butter ration there wounds about right to me :-)
Nice review Greeno… That place looks the business.
Oh yes. Top end price wise, but I didn’t come away thinking I’d been had as it was so good.
I would of expected a lot more mash as well.
@@carolewilliams4102 Aye, a bit stingy with the tatties!👍😄
Looks fantastic, but a bit more potato would have been welcomed I'm sure 🙂↔️
One of your best!
Thank you - I was really pleased with how the video came out (and the food I got to eat too!)
Ive never said the word WOW out loud before watching one of your videos but that main course plate got me
Stunning wasn’t it!
Living in Cyprus now, missing my family living in the Forest, the Chewton Glenn too expensive, but thank you.
I bet you're not missing the British weather that much though :-)
Looks fabulous. I'd have been more than happy with just the starter looking at the portion size. Yes, pricey, but what a treat
Yep, couldn't fault anything about the whole experience - will be back just as soon as that lottery win comes in!
It was really good, not often you come away from a top end place without feeling you've been had in some way or another!
A TV chef who actually works in his own restaurant ? Radical stuff !
It’ll never catch on 😂
@@GreenoEats Agreed. It's far easier to stand by the front door signing copies of your latest cookbook.
Looked great and some different dishes from usual. I watch a few channels and tbh I couldn’t care less if I didn’t see a full English breakfast or fish and chips again 😂
Well I can't promise you won't see those on my channel, but I do like to mix it up :-)
Nice one Greeno good to see a nice response from James excellent review and you beat Gary👍
It was great - not sure about beating Gary mind - he has 10 times as many sunscribers as me haha!
@@GreenoEats 👍
I had the same starter recently but it wasn't Hollandaise sauce, it was Sauce Gribiche, beautiful.
Ooh, that sounds great, a like the idea of the extra little sharpness
Oh, you poor bugger! Having to go to the Chewton Glen. 🤣
We recently had a pork chop at The Pig in Brockenhurst.
Beyond my budget too normally, but as a special treat I would go back, it was excellent!
@@GreenoEats 💯. Definitely one of the most appetising meals I've seen reviewed in quite a while. Really nice quality video too.
@@Erin-Christine Thanks I do appreciate that!
Wow the starter looked like a main meal and the main meal looked fantastic so did the dessert I think it is great for a splurge
I was surprised by the portion of the salmon, but not disappointed in any way with it being £18 !!!
@@GreenoEats great review
I think the Walsall FC team stayed down there in the past (mid 90s) 🤣 Another wicked video Greeno! I personally thought the food looked fantastic! Take care buddy ….Smithy
That might be why they're skint haha!! Glad you enjoyed the video Smithy, thanks for the kind words as always my friend!!
@@GreenoEats thank the lord for American Investors unfortunately not the ones of Blues or Wrexham 🤣
Bearnaise sauce is hollandaise with tarragon in it so technically it's not a proper hollandaise :p but thanks for checking it out, we love james 😋
But I think it also had other herbs too - so probably not really a bearnaise either :-) Whichever it was, it tasted great!!
Looked delicious. + Good review too. I'd like to eat all that right now.
It was delicious, thanks for the kind words about the video!
That looked amazing Greeno. I have a pork chop for my supper this evening but it doesn't compare with the one you had, I'm sooo jealous! 😘
Best pork chop I have ever had certainly!
You did an excellent review . Wow what a beautiful food James has come up with. Think your need to get a second mortgage if you carry on eating in those places.
Well done again
Best
Mark
Thanks Mark - yes this place is normally outside of my price range, but if I am going to review food I guess I have to cover the whoe range from cheap to expensive :-)
I'm the guy who said, "You are an Adopted american now", after eating chips with your Italian cuisine....lol. But, I mean, that food looks mouth watering good, especially the Salmon! Gee, would you adopt me to the UK for some of that scrumptiousness??? LoL.
Haha - it's a meal worth changing citizenship for !!
@@nickmorris9383 sounds fabulous!
Absolutely brilliant review Greeny and I'm not surprised it's James Martins creation. You gave James 5/5 and I'll give you 10/10. Full marks Sir!
Thank you Ian, I really appreciate that :-)
We went here for my birthday as James is my favourite chef
but I was so disappointed.
@@GreenoEats I really wish I had ordered something else. Love Jane James, we watch his Saturday programme all the time.
Great review. I thought a bit stingy with the Mash potatoe.
Thanks, I appreciate that - perhaps a little more mash would have been nice, but I was too full after the meal to consider filimg another video that day (which had been the original plan!)
