i finished this sometime last year but didnt get around to recording it but it felt right for this to be the first upload of the year lol

hi, back again with another skrillex remake (wow!), first off i wanna say happy new year! and also apologize for those who've been waiting for breakdown videos and stuff, unfortunately something happened just before new year and i've not been in the best space to record anything, i know some of you don't care about personal stuff and just wanna see videos and that's fair, i dont blame ya. i do promise you all that the breakdown and sound design videos will be coming so stick around!

@@visagemsc Yeah, got plenty. But if you connect the dots it all makes sense. Many producers know this and there have been plenty of discussions since his second album dropped and there was a huge change in sound. Won't spend my time explaining it here, but just search around. (Just a tip: Moody Good, Feed Me/Spor and someone from Noisia...)
@@visagemsc Here's one good dig: Skrillex was a multi-man project with Sony Moore as its' frontman. The tracks, musically were surely written by him, but the sound design was made from people like Noisia, 16Bit and Spor. This is why soon after his skyrocketing, Sonny "lost" his laptop (which apparently was stolen by Zomboy) and never had the same sound again. The growls were never his and that's how Noisia got their studio, Spor became Feed Me and 16Bit split up. All of those artists alos started releasing under Sonny's label (OWSLA) and Deadmau5's label (Mau5trap, where Skrillex had his publicity from). It was all Deadmau5's plan to commercialize Dubstep into USA territory and he knew exactly who to hire for that.
Its super accurate, but some of the growls should have way more yoy in them

This is perfect. You even found out that Skrillex uses Loopmaster Real Strings sample pack.
I am incredibly impressed. This is exactly the song that surprised me so much with its sound design in 2012 that all my previous knowledge about synthesizers was ruined. (And I was learning synthesis since 2005, since I was 8). After this track I had to learn how to make dubstep.
12 years have passed. And you just created a perfect remake of my favorite song. When you start recording tutorials, please, go over this one track especially carefully.
what pack is the main brass from? is it the OG vol 1 or from a different vol

I think it would be so fun to hear a set of tracks that are "what if skrillex remixed..." since you have experience now with his signature sound. Also, we do care about personal things bro, this is of such minor importance compared to other areas of your life, only give this your time when it feels fun and enjoyable, don't fall into getting stressed or pressured from an audience to deliver. 😎

I've never seen someone accurately do this as well as this. It's the amazing thing about skrillex honestly is that even after all these years so few people can accurately remake or create his sound

I have thought about it but idk if artists appreciate selling remade project files also if I did I wouldn’t include ripped parts like the vocals, etc . But at least I’ll be doing breakdown videos and sound design videos , I know these tracks are pretty old now so it’s cool to see the sound design and stuff and keep this era alive a little

This remake is pretty good, all sounds are almost identical, I would bury the growls in the mix more, sometimes they conflicted with the vocals.
