Inside Tarca's Great Barrier Reef Floating Hotel - Townsville History

The Great Barrier Reef Floating Hotel Resort - Townsville 1988. The hotel was originally the brainchild of Townsville developer Doug Tarca. The five-star hotel was based at John Brewer Reef, about 70km off the coast of Townsville.
The floating hotel was equipped with its own tennis court, and the seven-story structure had nearly 200 rooms, including a a glowing neon nightclub, bars, restaurants, and a helipad.
