Yeah, he deserved a better fate. Honestly, I was hoping it would end with Cloud and Roche going on a bro adventure. At first Cloud would be reluctant but would end up getting into it. Yeah, I know it wasn't going to happen but I still hoped it would happen even though it was impossible. At least they could have had him celebrating with the group after the final defeat of Sephiroth.
That Swordsmanship from Cloud is beautiful he wields that Giant Buster Sword effortlessly with great speed, grace and finesse and his attacks is very precise, he was good in the first installment but he's even better you might as well say he surpassed Angeal & Zack. That was great work with this fight i cant wait to play this for myself, But damn poor Roche didnt deserve that fate though.
@@ahmetwhatever4605Yeah you have a point, Cloud will surpass Zack in the third installment, each Soldier has their own specialties with attacks and attributes Zack is good, but at some point Clouds fighting prowess will only grow from here. If I remember correctly Zack didn't win that fight with Sephiroth in Crisis Core but Cloud came close in the first installment but he still didn't beat him.
Not Roche too 😭He deserved better than becoming a black robe, and I was hoping that like Broden he would at least retain his sense of self and personality despite having been made a Sephiroth clone, but even he succumbed to the "degradation" driven by the injection of S-cells or J-cells 😥. Cloud seems to at least be able to physically hold off this degradation the best, but in return he becomes mentally more and more vulnerable to Sephiroth's control. Zack was probably the only one capable to have physically and mentally fully handled the S-cell injection well.
I freaking love Roche. I found him annoying at first, but he’s now one of my favorite characters in the whole series. I really hope he is cured in the next game and becomes a real friend to cloud, I want one last dance. Maybe he’ll even join the party as a playable character!
It makes me grumpy everytime they tell Cloud that won't happen to him. In what basis it won't happen to him? They are just wishing it doesn't happen. Is like having terminal cancer and someone saying don't worry you won't die of cancer. Stop lying to the man

I love this moment of the vid. Fails the thrust attack due to battle's perimeter and Cloud goes "shit..."
I felt so bad for Roche at the end of this. He was a bit annoying, but he was far from evil.

@@BIGFELLAH26 I wouldn't say it's all over for him just yet. He's clearly still him and not just a robe.
He killed one of his own men for no reason in the first game during the motorcycle chase.
I always be learning new stuff from these kind of videos, good stuff man

Prime Mode is so satisfying holy shit

I love how the duel strategy taken in this fight

You make this look easy. Thank you.
Where did he get the robe?
I feel like Roche was wasted. I genuinely was expecting him to be a boss in every installement from the trilogy
I want my parry to be that good!!!! /
