I saw Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness May 28th, and while I was jumpscared twice, creeped out 3 times, and shocked more times than any, I am so glad to have Latinx/LGBTQ+ superhero representation in the form of America Chavez. Xochitl does an incredible job repping both communities as a FANTASTIC young superhero. (says a 30 year old about a 16 year old).
well this is the first time marvel has shown her character, so this is her introduction movie thats why her powers are so weak. its the same with all the new young avenger shows (hawkeye, ms marvel)
Like the comment above me they are still teenagers and so they don’t know much about their powers and how to control or train them so their powers will be ofc weak or at a young stage let’s say. When they mature and grow older they will surely learn their powers and use them in a more impactful way but for now we get to enjoy them exploring and finding themselves as human and as a superhero. I love this new era/ phase 4 because of these young superhero’s and I can’t wait for what’s in the future

(Which I did not mean to diminish othering, racism, etc. in England; I just meant it literally.) They were all surprised. Which surprised me at the time. But I suppose if you haven't visited England - or Scotland, or lots of other European places - you might not realise how diverse they are.
