PNW Oregon here! Wow! What an amazing job your doing! I have a 16 foot Bayliner Mutiny i put a new floor in. The worst part was chipping out the foam! Then a year or two later I had do do it again, this time from the bulkhead back to the transom, anything wood was removed and replaced and this time, the transom was completely redone. I fabicated a swim step and after the restoration, the step corner got hit and exposed the wood. Water found it way to the 3 drywall screws that were used to mount the step before glassing. So, im gonna send it until the motor falls off. But wow, what a huge undertaking. And no, i guess worse than the foam removal, was the balsa core. Mine wa just a small area, about 2 feet by 5 feet. It was absolutely grueling, chiping and prying, there was no fast simple way. Having done the same work, I can really appreciate the extent your going. Once that last bit of wet was removed, the boats soul starts to want to come to life. I bet that boat was a smooth solid riding boat when new. Now its going to have a second life and be smashing waves even better than before! Your so close! Lay them stringers, fab your floors, pluming, electrical ect. Its going to be gorgeous. Maybe 25k maybe 30 including motor when done? Which is probably less that what it was new?
Okay, I will be the bad guy here! You have hundreds and thousands of views on your content, but you only have one series. It's almost like winning the lottery except never claiming your ticket. I've seen content creators making several videos a week over the past 10 years and not get but a few hundred views. You have the subscribers and followers you just don't make any content.Your videos are very short too! How is that using all your family time? I understand this is a massive job but you have the perfect opportunity to be a content creator on TH-cam full time. Everyone likes what you're doing here but you're just not doing it. I think your content is fantastic so get everyone involved and ask subscribers to come volunteer on your boat on the weekends if you need help! I saw enough boat materials to take a week's vacation and do enough filming for one season. Anyways, I hope all is well. I'm looking forward to your next episode . Grab up the kids and let's start making memories! Everyone on Deck let's go!
