I went the first week they opened for the first time and it was definitely worth the 2hr drive from SoCal. Found some amazing specimens for my mineral collection.
I'm salivating looking at all the rocks/ gems / jewelry -- won't make it here this year, but I may make an effort to go here next year. Thanks for letting us see what it is all about!!
We are thinking about coming down. We moved from Vegas back to Idaho. But gotta go down to Vegas for grandma. Might come on down. We have a 6 week trip. Great video
That was very HELPFUL, INSIGHTFUL.... appreciate the panning overview /eagle view from above of the town and surrounding rv BLM land, and a close up of the crystals/rocks and fossils.
That’ gets the juices flowing.. ideas for cheese board to match delicacies such as donkey cheese favored by a tennis pro. Thanks again! Like window shopping semi Roman Holiday!
you are making me want to head south for a while , seems like it's always raining or snowing here near Seattle in the winter . I'll be heading to Texas in a couple months but I might have to make a run to Arizona between now and then just to get away from this weather .

Where some of the mineral specimen dealers are who have no problem adding zeros to the price of their top-quality specimens. There's a whole mob of them just outside Tucson at a motel resort. You can just go there, look and dream. Just leave your hands well away from your wallet.
