It's amazing how fluent he has become in Mandarin! He didn't know the language at all in 2017 and now three years later he can be interviewed on live tv..... is there anything he can't do?? He's directing videos now too, and they're beautiful. This is such a delicate lovely song. His artistry becomes richer and more engaging all the time. He makes me cry, over and over again. My dear after watching this music like 50 times, it is so beautiful it hurts inside. Sometimes I wish we dears keep Dimash for ourselves. I am not sure if I want to share him with the world. If you listen to his interviews, you cannot believe what ancient wisdom nests in the soul of this young man. no word he says is accidental, his speach is always very thoughtful, intelligent and sincere. You picked up on the love and the hope part of the song but there was also a subtle sadness about saying goodbye for a friend who was traveling far away. But the song is really really beautiful. The vocals from Dimash are extraordinary. I think this is one of his best songs. No really. I know that there isn't any high note fireworks to knock you back in your seat. But, there is so much hard techniques he used in this song and so much finesse. The entrance and exit of very note is so smooth and the dynamic shifts are so well blended that you don't notice what is happening but instead just get lost in his voice. It feels like you are being pushed and pulled by a hypnotic ocean current. His voice is soooo warm and soft here . So beautiful....words are just not enough to quantify what he did in this song.

I don't know what's this phenomenon with these Chinese songs - they are sooo beautiful, full of warmth and love and tenderness - and the way Dimash is singing, presenting, living them is unbelievable. So delicate and different, that's poetry at it's best in lyrics and music. And nobody on earth can sing it and make you feel it like Dimash. I can't say that I have ever loved Chinese traditional music style, but Dimash's voice and singing makes it current and relevant and incredibly emotional. As you said - you just feel love. At his singular level, it would seem impossible, but with maturity and the experience of his epic musical journey, the quality of his performances just keep going up and up, and it is simply stunning. BTW, I am glad that your video was the first time I heard this song. You allow the song to speak for itself, with few interruptions, which I love about you. It is made even more enjoyable, by the fact that although you save detailed comments until after the performance, your reaction plays out nonverbally in the emotions that play across your face. There's almost no need to listen to you speak of your reaction, because it's right there in the smoky depths of your eyes......that's wonderful!

Oh, I bet you are so eager to get to that concert. I was so eager to get to New York. I sat in my seat and my could not be still out of excitement. I can not wait for this dreadful virus to go away or get vaccines or whatever so that we can once again see Dimash live. My dream is to go to Kazakhstan and see him there because his concerts there are incredible and you can just see how much he loves his homeland and how much they love him. I was in tears in New York because I was just so so proud of him.

This program is for the important celebration of “ dragon festival “ and this year was delicate to the health workers. The program is to sing classic legendary song and to me he did the fantastic performance. His voice, gesture and the interpretation of the song is super. In Chinese classic legendary poem or song there will be no chorus like English song but the repetition of the first verse, so to speak. I have asked people who are expert in Mandarin and they all agreed that he painted the story so well with soft, emotional as well as powerful vocal as well as his expression. He is a story teller! You may find the other videos are that has complete interview for your own understanding of Dimash. The chairman has complimented Dimash and follow by Dimash has to announce in Mandarin about the classic legendary program, etc and sign his name on the program. About Dimash I am always interested to hear what and how is he saying. I am from Europe and after 30 years living in Canada I am still unaccustomed to so called small talk, quick, without pauses and evidently without thinking. All time thoughtful Dimash has the message to convey, express his gratitude, and paying attention when listen to someone. It's so refreshing! The poetry accompanied by the music has been a special interest of mine - no, I can't sing, but I used to read/recite the poetry I love - and Dimash singing the beautiful poem is absolutely stunning. And it doesn't surprise me anymore that he is doing this so well in a foreign, difficult language;-)

There are always pre-parties planned by Dears. The fan club in your area is the best resource for that information. It's great to have a huge party with dears and often there are people representing Dimash at these. In New York, some of his musicians and background singers came as well as his brother and sister.
I and all your other fans were anxiously awaiting for your reaction to this song. I think it is a little different from his usual style is but in a very good way. So soft and sweet emotion. Even when ending with one of his higher notes, he softened it. And whoever made that particular arrangement is very talented. A lot of us were also very curious as to what the discussion was at the end. Someone finally found just a small portion of it and we were able to determine that the man in the blue was simply telling more of the history of Kazakhstan and it's connection with China. Kazakhstan shares borders with Russia, China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan. So he was just sharing more details of the history that Dimash might not know, although I think Dimash probably knows all the history :). Enjoyed you so much as always.

You picked up on the love and the hope part of the song but there was also a subtle sadness about saying goodbye for a friend who was traveling far away. But the song is really really beautiful. The vocals from Dimash are extraordinary. I think this is one of his best songs. No really. I know that there isn't any high note fireworks to knock you back in your seat. But, there is so much hard techniques he used in this song and so much finesse. The entrance and exit of very note is so smooth and the dynamic shifts are so well blended that you don't notice what is happening but instead just get lost in his voice. It feels like you are being pushed and pulled by a hypnotic ocean current. His voice is soooo warm and soft here . So beautiful....words are just not enough to quantify what he did in this song.

I don't know what's this phenomenon with these Chinese songs - they are sooo beautiful, full of warmth and love and tenderness - and the way Dimash is singing, presenting, living them is unbelievable. So delicate and different, that's poetry at it's best in lyrics and music. And nobody on earth can sing it and make you feel it like Dimash. I can't say that I have ever loved Chinese traditional music style, but Dimash's voice and singing makes it current and relevant and incredibly emotional. As you said - you just feel love. BTW, I am glad that your video was the first time I heard this song. You allow the song to speak for itself, with few interruptions, which I love about you. It is made even more enjoyable, by the fact that although you save detailed comments until after the performance, your reaction plays out nonverbally in the emotions that play across your face. Oh, I bet you are so eager to get to that concert. I was so eager to get to New York. I sat in my seat and my could not be still out of excitement. I can not wait for this dreadful virus to go away or get vaccines or whatever so that we can once again see Dimash live. My dream is to go to Kazakhstan and see him there because his concerts there are incredible and you can just see how much he loves his homeland and how much they love him. The program is to sing classic legendary song and to me he did the fantastic performance. His voice, gesture and the interpretation of the song is super. In Chinese classic legendary poem or song there will be no chorus like English song but the repetition of the first verse, so to speak. I have asked people who are expert in Mandarin and they all agreed that he painted the story so well with soft, emotional as well as powerful vocal as well as his expression. He is a story teller! The chairman has complimented Dimash and follow by Dimash has to announce in Mandarin about the classic legendary program, etc and sign his name on the program. I am from Europe and after 30 years living in Canada I am still unaccustomed to so called small talk, quick, without pauses and evidently without thinking. There are always pre-parties planned by Dears. The fan club in your area is the best resource for that information. It's great to have a huge party with dears and often there are people representing Dimash at these. In New York, some of his musicians and background singers came as well as his brother and sister.

I and all your other fans were anxiously awaiting for your reaction to this song. I think it is a little different from his usual style is but in a very good way. So soft and sweet emotion. Even when ending with one of his higher notes, he softened it. And whoever made that particular arrangement is very talented. A lot of us were also very curious as to what the discussion was at the end. Someone finally found just a small portion of it and we were able to determine that the man in the blue was simply telling more of the history of Kazakhstan and it's connection with China. Kazakhstan shares borders with Russia, China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan. So he was just sharing more details of the history that Dimash might not know, although I think Dimash probably knows all the history :). Enjoyed you so much as always.
