The person in your discord who said that Dimash's father disowned him for not going into the family business is spreading horrible misinformation! Singing IS the family business. Dimash's parents have both been awarded "People's Artist of Kazakhstan". The pair were a very famous singing duo in Kazakhstan even before Dimash was born. They have recognized and supported their son's musical talent since he was a toddler.
@@Snarky_Tart this is in the live stream chat, not my discord. I also know very little about Dimash his back story since I only listen to his music so I couldn't correct the person.
The lyricist/co-lyricist to this Koji Tamaki song, Goro Matsui, also a Japanese poet, in an interview with the Japan Dimash Dears Fan Club described Dimash as the only singer he's heard sing the repeated "Ahh Ikanaide" correctly. He mentioned that each time it appears in the song, it has a different meaning and so far, only Dimash seemed to know this with his singing. That sounds like quite a complement coming from the song writer. After this song came out, I searched for Japanese reactors to hear their commentary to the way he sang and his pronunciation. All said his pronunciation was excellent, sounded like a Japanese person instead of a foreigner speaking Japanese. One even said it was better than some native speakers. That's impressive, too. Whenever Dimash prepares a song in another language, except Russian as Russian was one of the native tongues in Kazakhstan before independence, he is always concerned about the pronunciation. Yep, he puts in 💯 and it shows. ❤️ Thanks for your reaction and analysis. I enjoy your reactions. BTW, sometimes you look like Rassul, one of Dimash's backup singers. Just noticed that tonight. Anyway, great reaction. Thanks! 👍😊
It is Japanese and yes ge takes the song all the way to breath, he has sung in over 15 languages and I think its fair to say he can speak fluent in Russian and Khazak and is pretty good at English and Mandarin. The rest he learns phonetically for the songs.
😂 You could really dub animes! ❤ Great comments in the chat window as well! 😊 (except for the disowning discussion. Where did that come from? 🤔) To Christy in the chat window: Dimash is like a one man group. He could sing all parts himself - no matter the range. And with more control than any other singer I know. ❤
I think you'd really enjoy Durdaraz, Kieli Meken, When I've Got You, Smoke and Fire/Easy. Btw I noticed one of the comments in your live chat, Dimash has never been disowned by his family! All of his family are singers/musicians and are the ones who put him into music school in the first place? I don't know where your viewer got that information from. His family have been his constant support from childhood to the present day.
@EshplumeReacts yes I saw the comment after I had posted. If you get the chance, react to the mood video of Omir, it's full of footage from Dimash's childhood and his rise to fame. It's also a very deep beautiful song with both the music and lyrics written by Dimash himself. The word Omir is Kazakh and means life.
Good to see another reaction to The Voicebender Supreme. To Alberta and Stella, I am not sure where you got your information from but it is incorrect that Dimash's Father disowned him for years because he went into singing career. His Father and Mother are both famous singers in Kazakhstan holding positions of honour in the country. He was first on stage as a toddler with his parents. A deep dive into the life of Dimash would be a great reaction video as it is a wonderful and inspiring story. Many thanks for this reaction. UKDear 💜
👉 Dimash sang Ikanaide (live and for the first time in Japanese) on the Tokyo Jazz Festival in 2021(in his studio). Because of the “pandemic”, the annual Tokyo Jazz Festival took place online again. Filmmakers verify that the videos have not been edited and manipulated, so the singer sings live. In 2020 Dimash also participated in the famous annual Tokyo Online Festival with 2 songs: * S.O.S. - th-cam.com/video/WdKYDoqKLP8/w-d-xo.html * Samaltau - th-cam.com/video/cEyLyKW-gWY/w-d-xo.html The original song Ikanaide was composed in 1989 by Koji Tamaki (*1958) singer and songwriter, the lyrics come from one of his lyricists Goro Matsui. In the same year, the song was used as the theme song for a Chinese-Japanese television series Farewell, Lixianglan, about the Japanese woman Yoshiko Yamaguchi (*1920 - † 2014) a Chinese-born Japanese actress during World War II. She hid her Japanese heritage under the name Li XIanglan and became famous in China. However, when the war was over and she revealed her identity, she was accused of being a spy. She was deported to Japan and longed for China. Ms. Yamaguchi did not return to China until many years as deputy environment minister in the Japanese parliament. The song is a metaphor as the lyrics speak of how a person should hide what they are feeling. Koji Tamaki sent a wonderful message to Dimash, thanking him, and praising him for singing his song in Japanese. Vbloggers, they reacted to the original by Koji Tamaki, they are mesmerized and can't stop listening to Koji Tamaki. He wrote many wonderful melodies - you should check it out: Koji Tamaki 2021, Ikanaide - th-cam.com/video/OpgnM2MccCQ/w-d-xo.html Dimash's Japan Fan Club asked the famous Japanese author of lyrics of 'Ikanaide' Goro Matsui about his emotions at Dimash performance. It's one of his favorite songs: "… I heard Dimash singing "Ikanaide" by accident. The first thing that impressed me was his crystal clear tone and expressive voice. I heard other Asian artists perform the song many times, but despite their magnificent vocal skills, none seemed to capture the true meaning of the original lyrics. In the chorus of the song, the line "Ah, Ikanaide" is repeated several times. And although these are the same words, each line has a different meaning. And it seems to me that Dimash felt it. " In 1993, Jacky Cheung (*1961, singer and actor in Hongkong) adapted the song into Chinese Mandarin, calling it Late Autumn: th-cam.com/video/dtM2EsgHD3M/w-d-xo.html The Chinese (Autuumn Strong) and Japanese (Ikanaide/ Please, Don’t Go) versions have completely different lyrics and meanings… and of course Dimash sings both very differently: - The Chinese version shows the image of leaves dancing in the autumn wind as a metaphor for the passage of time, a farewell and change...sad but inevitable and irrevocable - The Japanese version does not want to accept the loss of a loved one, is full of pain, begs, suffers... heartbreaking. I'm totally mesmerized by how sensitively Dimash differentiates and conveys to the listener the feelings of sadness and loneliness in the Chinese version and loss and pain in the Japanese version. Even his whispers and his breath are music... it breaks my heart and the tears flow... and at the end everyone suddenly holds their breath, we hear Dimash breathing, then a deep and comforting hum. I've never heard anything like that from other singers in my entire life. Only Dimash can do that. This is true mastery. * The most famous interpretation In China (first performance at the Singer 2017) was that of Dimash Qudaibergen and it was his first time to sing in Chinese mandarin: Autuumn Strong - th-cam.com/video/Kmi2cVijdMo/w-d-xo.html This song brought Dimash the 'Best Foreign Singer' award at the Golden Melody Award 2017 (equivalent to the Grammy) in Hong Kong. * Great performance (Chinese version) of Dimash from Kiev 11.03.2020, the last concert before Corona paralyzed everything: Autumn Strong - th-cam.com/video/437IEsDIZfE/w-d-xo.html * Other version by Dimash: In Moscow on March, 2019 - Autumn Strong - th-cam.com/video/-ewR8Boc21I/w-d-xo.html (Thanks to all Dears who helped to complete the information)

He does another version in Chinese on the Singer which is also truly beautiful. You must watch the video by Gloria Wu first for the true story behind the song, it makes it even more poignant. Thank you for your great reactions
You have funny people on your livestream. Dimash's father disowned him for years because he didn't join the family business until he saw his son perform? Hmmm🤔😳. Firstly, singing is the family business. His parents are also singers. Even respected artists in Kazakhstan. His brother also plays several instruments such as guitar, keyboard and drums. He also performs with Dimash at his concerts. His sister was also on stage with Dimash. His grandparents were also involved in music throughout their lives. The whole family consists of musicians. I don't know where this person got the information from.
@strimart Yes, I know that. Sorry, English isn't my native language. When I said that his grandparents are also involved in music, I didn't mean that they were professional musicians. But that music has always played a big role in their family's life. I know that Dimash learned to play the dombra from his grandfather and that his grandmother Miua could also sing beautifully. I didn't know that Miue's father was a famous artist (I hope Google translated your comment correctly😊). Thank you for the information.

@@mmsminimalmusic3110it is pretty good, enough to go trough an interview or a conversation. Is it perfect? No. English is my third language too and trust me, I'm far from perfect. How good are you on your third language?
@@susannariera It is irrelevant how well you and I speak English. There are criteria how fluency is measured: search for "levels of language proficiency". And the question was to which level Dimash´s English belongs, not ours.
Dimash speaks 4 languages, two of them fluently (Kazakh and Russian). He’s still learning English and Mandarin. He has sung in 16 languages, but most of them only once -phonetically. He mostly sings in English, Mandarin, Kazakh, and Russian, with Italian a distant fifth.
@@СофаСофа-с3тSorry, I meant new songs. I meant no offense to the Russian people, nor did I mean to mislead anyone. I was merely stating my observation. He doesn’t sing Sinful Passion any more, nor Love is like a Dream. I will reword it. ❤ Changing my words makes no difference to me. 🙏😘

❗One of the comments on your feed said his Father disowned him, nothing could be further from the truth. Dimash lives traditionally, the entire extended family under one roof. They don't leave home before marriage, the men bring their brides home to live. His Father, the former foremost music producer in Eurasia and successful vocalist runs daily operations in Dimash's production company.
@@PatriciaPalmer-o3e I was coming to say to same thing! The Kazakh culture is all about family and that whole family is deeply respected in their hometown.
@tensho12345 Very child centric, the culture. I grew up there, an American, my father is a petroleum engineer there, my parents involved in charities with his, my sister and several friends went to undergrad with him. Their ceremonies and traditions are deeply embedded in their culture and most people don't know he's a direct descendant of a 14th century noble family of The Khanate Of The Junior Zhuz, genealogy of extreme importance in his culture and nation. The eldest son, he was raised from birth to assume the duties and responsibilities of his station to his people at 18, and takes them very seriously.
@@PatriciaPalmer-o3e extremely interesting. I believe some Dears know his lineage. Perhaps that’s why some call him the Golden Prince. He is doing such an admirable job representing Kazakhstan to the whole world. Like when he respectfully exited The Worlds Best talent show as soon he realized they had not been truthful about who he was competing against. He explained that in his culture, they lift children up and would never compete with them. He even held his tongue when they disrespected him horribly (verbally ) in return. His whole family is amazing, a 100% class act. What an interesting childhood you must have enjoyed Patricia!
@tensho12345 Yes, I did. My family is still in Kazakhstan, I have 2 brothers Mansur and Raushan's ages, another, the eldest, we lost to a rare lymphoma. My sister and several of our friends went to uni with Dimash and everyone calls her The Vault, the keeper of all secrets Ha ! I was in school in England, and inadvertantly spilled the beans on something I thought was common knowledge and needed a sling to carry my head around ! Whew ! Ever since been very careful but unceasingly teased about it. Whoa don't tell HER anything, you know how she is wink wink jab. It's hilarious. 🤣 My best wishes to you and those you cherish this Holiday Season ❄️🌲🙏

Thank's for your react ❤️ ❤❤
La versión de esta canción en chino es otoño tardío es también hermosa 💖 💕 😍
The person in your discord who said that Dimash's father disowned him for not going into the family business is spreading horrible misinformation! Singing IS the family business. Dimash's parents have both been awarded "People's Artist of Kazakhstan". The pair were a very famous singing duo in Kazakhstan even before Dimash was born. They have recognized and supported their son's musical talent since he was a toddler.
Who said that?

@@Snarky_Tart this is in the live stream chat, not my discord. I also know very little about Dimash his back story since I only listen to his music so I couldn't correct the person.
@@EshplumeReacts I know you're fairly new to Dimash. I subscribed for your Ren reactions, but I've enjoyed your Dimash reactions too ❤
Well said, I commented a similar thing. With how much support his family have been it's sad that someone should spread rumours like this.
Yeah he got an abundance of talent.

Dimash: "The show must go on"
The lyricist/co-lyricist to this Koji Tamaki song, Goro Matsui, also a Japanese poet, in an interview with the Japan Dimash Dears Fan Club described Dimash as the only singer he's heard sing the repeated "Ahh Ikanaide" correctly. Thanks! 👍😊
Superrrr.
It is Japanese and yes ge takes the song all the way to breath, he has sung in over 15 languages and I think its fair to say he can speak fluent in Russian and Khazak and is pretty good at English and Mandarin. The rest he learns phonetically for the songs.
He speaks kazakh, russian, good English learning Mandarin, BUT he sings in around 16 languages as he learns them phonetically. He plays 7 instruments.
Thank you for watching to the end, best part
Notice Ikanaide is one take❤

Great comments in the chat window as well! 😊 (except for the disowning discussion. Where did that come from? 🤔)
To Christy in the chat window: Dimash is like a one man group. He could sing all parts himself - no matter the range. And with more control than any other singer I know. ❤

More Dimash! lol. When I've got you is a very cool rock feel

Someone else also mentioned this, see the other comment below :)
@@EshplumeReacts I also think you'll love Durdaraz!
I love anything he does, but this is my altime favorite. Love him.
I have subscribed to your channel.
In 2020 Dimash also participated in the famous annual Tokyo Online Festival with 2 songs:
* S.O.S. - th-cam.com/video/WdKYDoqKLP8/w-d-xo.html
* Samaltau - th-cam.com/video/cEyLyKW-gWY/w-d-xo.html
The original song Ikanaide was composed in 1989 by Koji Tamaki (*1958) singer and songwriter, the lyrics come from one of his lyricists Goro Matsui.
He wrote many wonderful melodies - you should check it out:
Koji Tamaki 2021, Ikanaide - th-cam.com/video/OpgnM2MccCQ/w-d-xo.html
Dimash's Japan Fan Club asked the famous Japanese author of lyrics of 'Ikanaide' Goro Matsui about his emotions at Dimash performance. It's one of his favorite songs:
"… I heard Dimash singing "Ikanaide" by accident. "
In 1993, Jacky Cheung (*1961, singer and actor in Hongkong) adapted the song into Chinese Mandarin, calling it Late Autumn: th-cam.com/video/dtM2EsgHD3M/w-d-xo.html
The Chinese (Autuumn Strong) and Japanese (Ikanaide/ Please, Don’t Go) versions have completely different lyrics and meanings… and of course Dimash sings both very differently:
- The Chinese version shows the image of leaves dancing in the autumn wind as a metaphor for the passage of time, a farewell and change...sad but inevitable and irrevocable
- The Japanese version does not want to accept the loss of a loved one, is full of pain, begs, suffers... heartbreaking.
* The most famous interpretation In China (first performance at the Singer 2017) was that of Dimash Qudaibergen and it was his first time to sing in Chinese mandarin: Autuumn Strong - th-cam.com/video/Kmi2cVijdMo/w-d-xo.html
This song brought Dimash the 'Best Foreign Singer' award at the Golden Melody Award 2017 (equivalent to the Grammy) in Hong Kong.
* Great performance (Chinese version) of Dimash from Kiev 11.03.2020, the last concert before Corona paralyzed everything: Autumn Strong - th-cam.com/video/437IEsDIZfE/w-d-xo.html
* Other version by Dimash: In Moscow on March, 2019 - Autumn Strong - th-cam.com/video/-ewR8Boc21I/w-d-xo.html

Dimah has been singing since age 5.
Dimash has been singing since age 5. Stole the show from his parents at age 2.

Почему на русском реже, Вы о чем, на своих сольных концертах он в обязательном порядке поёт и на русском языке и ненадо вводить людей в заблуждение.

❗One of the comments on your feed said his Father disowned him, nothing could be further from the truth. Dimash lives traditionally, the entire extended family under one roof. They don't leave home before marriage, the men bring their brides home to live.
She's got some stories to tell but there's always been a tacit agreement, nothing said that isn't in the public record.
