That’s some ride for sure. I still have to ride the USA. Did California 1 but in a car im afraid. Would love to do it in a Harley. Thanks for the comment, really happy to hear you’ve enjoyed it.
I go on stelvio pass 2 times for years between end of June and mid August. At dawn and 1 hour before sunset u will always find the road free from traffic. Fun is guaranteed ✌
Yes that’s a great tip for sure. I’m sure it can be enjoyed with much lighter traffic however as part of a longer trip I had to fit it where I could in the schedule. Next time I’ll plan to ride it properly. Thanks for stopping by and for your valuable comment. I appreciate it.
Thank you. Appreciate the comments. I would say in October you already got some snow up there. I think they closed it at the very start of November or late October even.
@@buddhimanivantha6719 thank you so much. Appreciate your support. Hope you enjoy the videos. Trying to put out one a week at the moment. Might be hard over the winter but going to try.
Hey Buddhima, unfortunately I deleted your comment by mistake in the TH-cam studio and there is no way to recover it. I just wanted to let you know that I did reply to you on the other video. Apologies for the mistake.
Thanks for the comment Steve. It is worth doing at least once but there are so many other passes there that look amazing. I just want to get back there again. Stay Safe yourself my friend.
Yes it is certainly an awesome route that every biker should do at least once. It’ll test you in many ways between the fast bends at the bottom, the hairpins at the top, the heavy traffic and cyclists, the road surface, etc… but the sausage at the top is worth it. 😂 Thanks for watching and commenting, glad you’ve enjoyed the video.
Hi Andreas, thank you for your comment. The music was mixed at 0 dB the issue is that the microphone is low. I agree I should have lowered the volume of the music so that there isn’t such a large discrepancy. Thanks again for your comment.
Hi. Thank you for the kind comments. For this video I was using a GoPro Hero 8 Black and a GoPro Max 360. I have since replaced them with a GoPro 10 Black and Insta 360 One RS and One X3 which I’m loving.
@@RidingCorners cool👍 I thought so however I got comfused because I saw that you were not using a mic adaptor and lens were different as well🤔 I'll keep follow you because Alps, dolomites etc is at my bucket list for April 2023🏍💨 Greetings from Greece fellow rider👊
@@Samian_Rides-MotoVlogs you will absolutely love the Alps. I still have to do the dolomites. Was close but didn’t get there. I’m aiming for Scotland or Norway next year all going well. I was back in the alps this year but had lots of trouble so didn’t get to do much riding unfortunately. I have some videos to share though when I get the time.
Hi Daniel, thank you for your very kind comments. Indeed the scenery is stunning in this part of the world. So fortunate to have good weather too. In these videos, I’m using a GoPro Hero 8 and a GoPro Max.
I’m afraid most of the noise is wind. That’s the reason I didn’t post the engine noise. It is far more time consuming to edit at pace for the music than let the sound of the engine do the soundtrack. I’ve resolved the issue I think for further trips.
Thank you for your comment and critique Phil. Appreciate you watching it and glad you enjoyed at least part of it. Consider subscribing to the channel I’ll be posting some new content soon.
Unfortunately I have to confirm. The music is just your taste but much too loud! I had to turn down my volume to almost zero to bear it. Sorry, because the video in general is good.
Hey Martin, thanks for the comment. Yes that is the intention in future trips however the sound was more wind than anything else so I thought that people wouldn't want to hear wind noise and opted for music instead. Trust me it is a hell of a lot easier to not have to source (and pay) for music and edit to it.
Hahaha nice observation there mate. I was wearing very light summer gloves for most of the ride but… at the top the temperature was quite low so that required warmer gloves. I always carry 2 pairs of gloves with me anyways just in case.
Thank you so much for the kind comments mate. Yes I’ve ridden Gorges du Nan but will need to get back there and ride that area properly. See the video here: th-cam.com/video/dkLUWwW3t0k/w-d-xo.html Yes this trip was alone, initially I was meant to meet a friend on route but they couldn’t make it.
@@themasterhill I’ve the gopro hero 8 and the Max. In this trip was also using a Zoom H1N that proved cumbersome. I’ve actually just ordered an Insta360 one R camera too that I’m looking forward to trying.
Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately the alternative would have been to listen to wind given that I am only starting and couldn’t get engine noise without wind. New videos will have a lot more engine and environment noise. Trust me far less work than to source and edit to the music.
