    Good looking car.
NEW technology Electric Vehicles are just better than OLD technology gas and diesel.
No noise, no pollution, less stress, less fuel costs and less maintenance costs.
Why would anyone want to be stuck with old technology gas and diesel anymore.

The current pricing is out of range for many people, that is most likely why. But as always with new technology, it will become more in range for everybody in time.

Trying to get a 48h test drive in an EV is almost impossible. Given a choice (company car) of Polestar 2, Tesla 3 LR, Mercedes EQC and Audi E-tron, I went for the EQC. The Polestar 2 is definitely the coolest, but there isn't even a dealership yet in the UK and test 'experiences' are booked up for many weeks in advance. I had already tested the Tesla over 3 days and, while it has pretty impressive tech, it felt really 'cheap' compared to my BMW 5 series. Particularly, the level of road noise compared to the German brands is striking and the interior is like an unfurnished flat. I know that Tesla fanboys might attack me, but apart from the battery performance, they're just not that great in the luxury car bracket. So, for me it came down to the E-tron or the EQC. I like a big, refined cruiser (hence 5-series at the moment), and I just felt that the EQC pipped the Audi in that regard. Awaiting delivery in December.

Interesting comment, and totally agree with some of your points. A good friend of mine is swapping his BMW 530e for a Mercedes EQC as he also struggled with test drives, and his view on the Tesla compared with his 5 Series was much the same as yours. I liken it to smartphones. Some Apple users will never hear a bad word said about their choice of brand, and whilst good, there are better alternatives out there.

@@AutoEV lol I just watched a review of the new S-Class where a Tesla owner is in the comments claiming that it's more refined :)

Saying the EQC is more comfortable than the E-tron i strongly disagree in. You must have driven the Audi in dynamic setting all day.

I've done test drives with both cars and I only can agree with this conculusion, EQC is a better car to drive.

We concur, which was a surprise as the Audi is on air suspension, but sometimes that doesn't always help. Tyre profile can have an affect too, and the tyres on the EQC we had were a much taller profile. That, along with damping tuned more for comfort made the Mercedes the pick of the two for us.

@@AutoEV Oh no, this is really BAD news for me! I just paid for an E-Tron which I take delivery of this week, after a long and difficult decision making process between it and the EQC, where the MOST important thing that really mattered to me was how comfortable a ride the car will have. You're now telling me I made the wrong decision!!!!! I chose the e-Tron on the basis of its air suspension and the comments of several other YT reviewers who said it was a better ride than the EQC. I really hope you have got this wrong!!!!!

This car was such a let down. Audi made this car feel so heavy and disconnected it made my 17 year old Hummer H2 seem fun to drive in comparison.

@@uberleafguy7876 well, I did test drives with all 3, EQC, I-Pace and E-Tron ... what is the best car is very subjective and personal. I place comfort above performance, I also look how intuitive and easy the use of the onboad system is, i also look other things, like the towbar, i also take noice in the car in consideration ... and at the end, the price play a role as well. Al these elements added up bring me to the EQC. Yes, I-Pace is a more sporty car, but where in my region (Benelux) can I benefit from it ... response = no where! The Netherlands will lower the speed on highways to 100 km/hour, Brussels region will soon lower the speed to 30 km/hour almost every where in the Brussels region ... so performance, nice but useless! Comfort is important and Mercedes understand what it means. I might be braindead but I know why I choose EQC over I-Pace (and for your info: the I-Pace i tested showed errors of the system during the testdrive, I guess that was bad luck, but doesn't help of course )
