    Oh yea Guys, did this Twice on my BH92 in SIX YEARS. The "simple conversion" only took me 72 minutes combined off - another 3 point attachment & backhoe back on, all together. My "Speed" Realy increased by just Buying TWO more TRACTORS. No more "make-work monkey-bussiness". Just can't waite to SEE the front loader Off & "Wheelee Championships " going on!

      @@MyClutteredGarage Yes, they certainly do. Modern machinery is a great help; sure saves ALL the "back-breaking labor. I still am not afraid to do an hours worth of hand shoveling in the mud. Just saying "convert-a-lating" to a backhoe back-n-forth to a 3point "tool-carrier " takes WAY Too much time! Even especially when multiple tasks at hand take multiple "atachments". I like the small, medium,& large "Tractor Technique " ; it just costs 20,000 - 40,000 a crack. My back is worth that. I REALLY LIKE my telescopic lower lift link ends & telescopic sway bars ( two of the units);---anthing else is "add-ons" , tryed those Aka. "Quicky-links" is a pure excuse for safty & security. It has NEVER taken me more than 90 seconds to hitch & re-hitch 3 point implements---plus with the PTO shafts. Taking "link-arms " on & off & ON the Whole tractor AGAIN is for birds. Thank you for the great Vidio Sir and happy safe tractoring. Best wishes with all your endeavours.

    Wow, that was very interesting to watch. Thanks Phil & Ed.
    The fact that the backhoe was completely sitting on the ground was different & unique also.
    You mostly seeing them being propped up by sitting on a 6"x8" wood block or on a rolling cart in a garage with concrete floor. Nice to know that is not the only way to park them. 😃 😊
    Don't forget the BH77 is also used on the newer LX2610 & LX3310 tractors too.
    Great video, Thanks!!! Dan

    Very good instructional video. I have a backhoe on my Massey Ferguson GC2610. Some days the bh is cooperative and only takes a few minutes to install. Other days it can be stubborn and takes much longer. It all depends on the mood of the bh!

    You can leave the drawbar on the tractor if you slide it forward and put the pin back in the other hole.. gives you plenty of clearance

  • @saxman1969

    Great tractors and backhoes. I do not adhere to the myth that 3 point backhoes (which this is not) are bad for the tractor cases. I bought my second Kubota (30 HP B7800) over 17 years ago with the factory backhoe which is a 3 point attach and PTO pump. It takes me about 7 min to install and 5 min to remove. We also have a L2501 with this bh in the video. It is so difficult to remove and install, we never use the tractor as anything else. The subframe on the 7800 is massive and I have many hours of bh use on the tractor with never an issue.
    Nice video!

    I believe on the drawbar he could push it in flush. It'd be one less thing to take off and store to the side. Also, get Phil a ratchet wrench 😉 Good detailed BH install video

    AND……I thought you were going to tell us you upgraded to a bigger tractor!! 😀😀. I think installing a BH70 on a B2601 is a bit easier, but it does not have the 2nd seat. None the less, great video again. 👍👍

    Good video. When I saw the dirt floor the outrigger were sitting on, I thought when he goes to raise them and line up the pins they are going to dig a hole in the ground and slip. Surprised, how hard that floor is. I always unhook mine on a concrete floor now after going through hell with it sitting on gravel after the outrigger had settled to a flat position.

    Appreciate getting right to the meat of the title of the video. Couldn't see every little thing, but got the general jist. Could you clarify how you are able to figure out the left and right sides of the 3 point and the correct direction when reinstalling?

    • @MyClutteredGarage
      @MyClutteredGarage  ปีที่แล้ว

      One more question, have you had the large pins slide out on you? Had one pin almost completely come out on me on one side, which could have been disastrous. There are small pins on these large backhoe attachment pins that go through the inside holes, but there isn't a mechanism to keep those little holding pins from coming out of there while working.

  • @thegreatnorthwoodswithbb2863
    @thegreatnorthwoodswithbb2863 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Ended up making quite the project out of it... get everything lined up perfectly should take 2 minutes... Next time you take it off put a block under the frame of the backhoe instead of leaving it lay on the ground... And leave the backhoe curled in a little closer instead of stretched out won't take so much to tilt it in place.. leave the pins of the backhoe off the ground above your hooks on the subframe easy Sneezy.. set the outriggers down take your block out and there you go

    Question...
    Did you have to change the standard sway bars on the three point hitch. I have a 3901 I want to add a bh77 to. So I'm gonna need to ensure there's plenty of clearance after the subframe is attached.

    • @MyClutteredGarage
      @MyClutteredGarage  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Cliff. You have to remove the entire 3 point assembly to attach the backhoe.

    You were lucky. sometimes this will take up to an hr if you are having bad luck esp if one of the hyd, hoses leaks. I always use a long bar and use the left and right movement and up and down of the buck to move the unit. A terrible design. I heard there is a quickconnect sys for this dreadful hookup. Ive had my L3400 for 13y and wish I have gotten the next size up but its been a champ for me for the last 13yrs.
