Honestly, the thing that I'm impressed the most by bout this server is the radio etiquette.
Same. I love the organization. Something about controlled chaos over the mic is just wonderful.
The radio chatter is really good to listen to, I wish I could speak Comms.
@@paparoach007 it's not hard lol. Once you start picking up the lingo it's easy. Really just keep things short and sweet. If it's not important, don't relay it. And also make sure you know your pos at all times.

the incident at the village with the civilian checkpoint was a clear case of "ring of fire" lol. For me it looked like this: partisans from the village shoot the convoy, convoy shoots at civilian checkpoint, civilian checkpoint shoots partisans. I had to laugh out loud;)
This is one of the greatest games to watch

Try some sort of Coop server , i play JSOC 77th and theyre quite friendly and willing to help new players

It's part of the ACE3 mod, allows you to preview the throwing arc, cook off grenades which is useful for smoke signalling and also change the throw from overarm to underarm.

I can never find arma servers running anything close to the amount of mods in these. I can play with like sound and explosions improvement mods but nothing else
Generally the servers dictate which mods you load rather than the player searching for servers with their exact modlist.
I did not know that this game has arty, I have been playing for a couple days but I would love to do some arty shit... Is it a mod or is it in the base game?

If you play as a rifleman it’s totally chill everyone is willing to teach, just don’t join in as company command on your first day

i cant help but compared to squad and tarkov, arma is boring for me even watching heavily edited footage like this.
I think it has to do with the sound. Squad and Tarkov both have great sound (Squad especially), and the gunshots all have a certain punchiness to them that makes them sound loud and real. Arma 3 just does not have comparable sound effects, at all. Everything sounds muted and a bit dull in comparison.

@@gman3976 lol. you go deaf from open gunfire with the more legit milsim mods that are used in the server.... also usually cant hear anything over radio in mid fight without ear plugs.

This is pretty disrespectful to service members. Those who have served do so so that people have the freedom to do things like this and bring great content without actually having to experience the horrors of war or whatever comes along with it. There are plenty of service members who play on Karmakut's server who would be much happier doing what he's doing than being sent out forward. Not to mention he doss charity work for service members and their families (like his memorial day stream). A lot of us appreciate what he does.
