I've always been a total fangirl of the a10 even though I dont find planes interesting, something about the way it looks and shoots i find very fascinating 🤷♀️
Same! Although I'm a total sucker for avionics and aircraft I'm almost exclusively interested in old planes like WW2 stuff. Jets not so much. But the A-10 is such an astounding piece of machinery. Basically a huge cannon with a plane built around it and probably the most american aircraft ever.

Repeat is NOT a CAS command. Very rarely would you ever tell any element the color of smoke for marking friendlies or LZs. Tell smoke, wait for color from pilot, confirm color with pilot. And you obviously saw why you would never tell a pilot a colored smoke before even discussing it with a ground element lol.

god i really want to play this game as well , but im afraid ill be so shit at it , i dont know what anything means :'(
I mean, as a new player you're mostly just regular ground infantry grunts. You're team lead and squad lead direct you where to go and who to shoot. Advanced terminology not needed
Plenty on the server and discord to help with basics too like setting up mods and setting up radio and gear
