I think this is safe to say when comparing Ren with all of the world's musician/singers, not just the other band members! They would all be classed as multi talented within their own rights. Ren is an anomaly.
TBP has so many amazing videos. Bongo Bong, Englishman in New York, Swan Song... plus their busking videos. Romain is French so his accent gives a different flavour to the tone/texture and Gorran is more a folk musician but together they are sooo talented. They all play amazing guitar plus other instruments and if you watch, in every video, they all have their moment. A true collaboration.
watch bongo bong, you will see the dark haired chap (Romane) has a different type of singing voice, also Swan song too. they are all so talented and its a shame they needed to separate. I hope one day, once Ren is better, they will come back together and tour. I would definitely be going to see them
On the left of screen in the hat is Romain Axisa, Romain is originally from France and he and Ren were flatmates in Brighton for about 7years (?). He mostly sings in a more mid-range than here. I was surprised the first time I heard this, how low he was singing. He released his own album late last year, it is worth listening to. Gorran Kendall (harmonica), is from UK but has busked for many years around the UK and the continent from what I understand. He has a great voice for "rock/metal" Ed to add: Glen Chambers (sp?) is the drummer in the band, for many of their other performances. He originates from Ireland. They were all living together for lockdown videos they made, have a listen to some in your own time, they are fun. Sitting on the bed, jamming. They also did some great videos of covers during this time that are "must sees".....Bongo Bong; An Englishman in New York; These boots are made for walking’ / Satisfaction / Everybody; are all covers where they blend voices like this video. Looking forward to seeing you discover more of the Big Push. Like Ren, they are all multi talented and their music is varied. The do covers, and mash-ups as well as their own songs.
Love it!! Romain Axisa, on the left, is a guitarist from France. Gorran Kendall, center, also plays guitar and bass, in addition to harmonica. And you know Ren. Ren often takes the high notes when they're singing harmony (seriously--check out Swan Song!!), but I can't tell if that's him singing higher in this one.
Yep. A band made of frontmen. So, I assume you haven't watched The Big Push doing "An Englishman in New York"? Or "Bongo Bong"? And, the mash-up of "These Boots/Satisfaction/Everybody" recorded in a laundromat is the sound you never knew you needed. (And there is a drummer, as well: Glen Chambers.)
every time I see this I am astounded by their ability to play, sing AND STOMP at the same time! Great reaction - thanks - Keep going! By the way, Romain is French, so his accent will be different from the others, even in singing.
TBP are incredible, they all have lots of different voices and can all sing high and low. The guy on the left is Romain Axisa he’s French, middle is Gorran Kendall. Can’t wait to see you go through their catalogue 🖤
Love you reactions and your channel Fischtank, please, please react to The Big Push 3 original songs, Icarus ( punk/ Indie style ) , Precious ( pop style ) and Swan Song ( Folk style), 3 different genres , 3 absolute banger tracks , all🔥🔥. Nobody hardly reacts to them, you will love them. Gorran is on the harmonica, Romain who is french is on the guitar and both are super talented just like REN, the other member of the Big Push is missing here is the drummer Glen. Let’s all prey they reform for some gigs once REN has finished his treatment in Canada, it would sell out a million times over.
The Big Push quickly became my favorite band at 53 years. All 3 of the are beautiful singers and guitarists. Romaine's cute little french accent is so cute! Wait until you watch more busking. You never know who will be singing or playing what guitar! And there doesn't seem to be any ego from any of them. Oh, and Romaine, the one who sings last, just put out his first solo album. So different than what I"m used to in this band, but equally beautiful and good. Gorran's vocals on Wade in the water/nina simone/trouble so hard are SOOOO good I knew he had a nice voice, but it blew me away.
Hell yes!! Instant chills!! The Big Push very quickly became my new favorite band!! You need to listen to EVERYTHING by them!! 🫶 If you haven't hear Sweet little lady acoustic version yet, you're seriously missing out!!
You definitely need to check out more from The Big Push. Their busking videos, Swan Song, Precious, Englishman in New York and so many others - all are brilliant. Loved your reaction and looking forward to more. ❤❤
once you watch some more of the big push you will start to realize that these guys are multitalented and can nearly adapt to any genre and musical equipment, and their voices can even change so much dependant on which song they sing, i prefer Romain on electric guitar i think thats where he shines but damn when he sings in french in ( bongo bong ) i bloody melt and their all like that, they all have a special talent that they shine in but then they can also have and endless pit of musical/lyrical/instramental talent....im not sure there isnt a genre ren hasnt sun in yet, he was given a rough hand with his illness but something poured so much talent into this man that i could be convinced that hes an angel haha and im an atheist
Think you would love The Big Push doing What Kind Of Woman Is This - again they all take their turn in the spotlight and singing - it's strangely under appreciated and not too many have reacted to it. It deserves way more attention. I cannot recommend highly enough that you ought to check out Romain Axisa's solo stuff - Goodbye Good Days is spectacular.
Beatles. Traffic. Cream. .... etc... These are just some of the bands that come to mind when I try to compare The Big Push with anyone.... Phenomenal. Ren reminds me of Prince, in the way he can seem to build up recognition and respect of those around him, while at the same time, he's just doing his thing. .... He's making an impact. Great reaction! Cheers!
Great reaction! If you liked this one, please do The Big Push' "Swan Song" - that's also the whole package - the visuals and harmonies are stunning. Also someone below mentioned TBP cover of War Pigs in one of their busking gigs. It's absolute fire.
You made my day with this video. It just makes me happy to listen to them. They take turns singing on a lot of different songs. Swan Song has Ren playing an unique instrument called a Melodica. I haven't found a bad song yet. Romain (on the left with guitar) has a solo video out called "75 Beats Per Minute) that is an instrumental on his guitar that I think you would enjoy.
Great reaction! I like how you appreciate all the band members. Please do more of The Big Push!! I think you’d like their cover of War Pigs if you haven’t done it yet! Or their original called Watch Out, the live version (red suspenders on Ren).
You’ll love all The Big Push stuff Fisch - check out their live nation sessions during lockdown - just chillin on a bed together, switching guitars around at will & just jamming - Amazing!!
I am watching this as it is 9 months old.. I hope by now you have truly discovered that all three members of the Big Push are phenomenally talented in their own right! Just absolutely amazing and unreal talent within these three men❤
Three chairs, Three amazing gifted guys! Loved your reaction, it is how I feel whenever I hear this and also Bongo Bong, Englishman in New York and the incredible Swan Song.
What a GREAT video reaction!!!!! Thank you. I can't wait for you to find the MANY outstanding songs in The Big Push catalogue. Ren created his band with absolutely gifted musicians. There's a treasure chest full of great songs by The Big Push. I can't wait to see more of your reactions to Ren and his excellent mates, Romain (the Frenchman on the left) and Gorran (in the middle). I honestly can't Wait for you to see The Big Push perform Bongo Bong (my favorite Manu Chao song) as well as Swan Song (an original song by The Big Push)!!
I could listen to this a million times and never get tired of it! Romain Axisa on the left is French, please check out his solo stuff. Gorran in the middle, incredible guitar player and singer, check out Paint It Black cover by The Big Push! Absolute 🔥🔥🔥
So glad you finally got to this one! I Love your enthusiasm and appreciation for Ren! His bandmates, Gorran Kendall and Romain Axisa, also have a wide vocal range. Ren has so many incredible collaborations and The Big Push is no exception! Their whole “Can Do Will Do”’album is awesome! Romain Axisa just dropped a solo album I have been playing on repeat! I hope you will check it out soon! 💔❤️🩹❤️
It really bums me out that by the time I found them, The Big Push was already broken up. Or maybe just on a long hiatus? I wish. I know Romain was the hooded guitar player in Money Game 1, so he and Ren are still friends I think. They're so incredible together. I love their original song Watch Out plus they really are the best at making covers of great songs their own, without 'ruining' them.
The Big Push was formed in 2017 by *Romain Axisa* (French guitarist; black cap), *Ren* (Welsh everythingist), *Gorran Kendall* (English bassist/guitarist/harmonicist; long hair) and *Glenn Chambers* (Irish drummer, mustached, only in about half the videos). They performed frequently on the streets of Brighton, achieved some viral popularity with their busking videos, toured the UK in 2019, and did livestreams during the UK's Covid lockdowns. They released a 2021 EP of original music called "Can Do Will Do", and a 2023 album of their live covers called "Busking Sessions". Ren knew he would have to leave the UK for health treatment, and the others in the band had other dreams they wanted to pursue, so they dissolved the group in 2022, a few months before "Hi Ren" was released and Ren left for Canada. They are still great friends, and though as of now there's been no indication they intend to reform the band after he's done with his treatments, Ren has said he's eager to play with them again any time. Keep up the great work, love seeing you on my subscriptions page!
Great reaction fella. This might have been mentioned but Norman Cook AKA Fatboy Slim ,(who's also from Brighton), gave this a massive thumbs up and his seal of approval!!
The big push also do “Sympathy for the Devil” live in the streets. They do “Paint it Black” They do “War Pigs 🐷 “ They do “I shot the Sheriff” Great content peace and Love from Australia mate ❤
I would love to live with them. They all lived together for a bit. Bongo Bong is on their rooftop, same as where Ren did Murderer. There's a cool video called Heroes where they were in lockdown and had all their fans send in videos during lockdown.
Fisch, there's a country artist that no one talks about and he is my absolute favorite. Please consider looking at Tanner Usrey. A good song to review would be 'Josephine.' Promise you won't regret it and it will do well.
@@@@@@@@@@@@@ please react to Romain Axisa. Turn the lights down he's brilliant. Hus French accent was prevalent in this song. But hes range is amazing as well Great harmonizing lol. Your voice is awesome
Romain Axisa and Gorran Kendall are the two others in the band (Romain on the left) - they also have an excellent drummer! Romain is French… mostly plays the guitar in the band; Gorran plays bass.. and other instruments too. I hope you react to many of their videos… all are great - all different!! Romain and Gorran have recorded many of their own songs - check them out too!
Absolutely killed the reaction I love this song! ❤ Can you please react to “Doin’ This” by Luke Combs, I think it would be an absolutely amazing song for you to listen to and I would love to listen to your reaction to this amazing song

Love it more then original 😍😍😍 apararently fat boy slim saw them playing this Busking and commented on their instragram from what I have heard 😊😛🤩✌️
Their own song It's Alright is so good😁
And Precious is awesome
Middle is Gorran and the other one is Romain ( check out his solo stuff as well) they are all so talented
Just was coming to say that thanks Ceekayy!
Discovered Gorran has some independent work on TH-cam and Spotify. He needs the clicks. He needs to know the fandom is here
After busking for years, they have no problem singing live.
It's too short!!!! I always want more from TBP. Each one of them are stellar individually and even better together.
they were amazing !!! ... and that harmonica !
👏Great reaction!
Yes, you are going to ❤ The Big Push! 💃🏻

Been binging your Ren reactions recently. Loved that you're reacting to the big push. I'd recommend bongo bong and englishman in new york

I share your awe and enthusiasm for this version of the song.
About time you got back to The Big Push!!😀Glad u looking good and healthy. Here’s to a much better 2024!! X

Loved your reaction, thank you.
I love this so much!!! ☮️❤️😎
Romain on the left actually has the high voice. He just put out a brautiful solo album. Check out his busking too. Georgia on My Mind is great.
I am watching this as it is 9 months old.. I hope by now you have truly discovered that all three members of the Big Push are phenomenally talented in their own right! Just absolutely amazing and unreal talent within these three men❤
These guys should have become huge.
Check out their cover of Bongo Bong😊
Always hype for the feetie cymbals!
Their cute toe-bourines.
Love you reactions and enthusiasm . This is one of my favourites from the big push
This is my favourite big push performance...today, it showcases particularly Gorran Kendall s talent
Three chairs, Three amazing gifted guys! Loved your reaction, it is how I feel whenever I hear this and also Bongo Bong, Englishman in New York and the incredible Swan Song.

TBP are awesome, it baffles me that they didn't blow up the world when they were gigging together.
Ren is a master of his own talents and the big push brings out the best of him.
It really bums me out that by the time I found them, The Big Push was already broken up. Or maybe just on a long hiatus? I wish. I know Romain was the hooded guitar player in Money Game 1, so he and Ren are still friends I think. They're so incredible together. The big push "this boots are made for walking/satisfaction/everybody" they play in the laundry

Love you and love your Ren reactions! You never disappoint, ever! Please consider Swan song, it's beautiful ❤️
Fatboy Slim liked this too. He saw them busking in Brighton, filmed it and put in on Twitter.
Wade in the water is awesome. Love your enjoyment of this band ❤
Love your reaction to this and how much you're enjoying it.
I was the same when I first heard it 😁😁
Love this one! and Swan song for harmony.
Ren Gill (vocals, guitar, bass), Gorran Kendall (vocals, guitar, bass, harmonica), Romain Axisa (vocals, guitar), Glenn Chambers (backing vocals, percussion - absent).
Yes! I agree! Ren means quality and you can see it in the musicians he surrounds himself in
This is one of my favourite pieces that @RenMakesMusic is a part of. I love each & every part of this song
Great reaction fella. This might have been mentioned but Norman Cook AKA Fatboy Slim ,(who's also from Brighton), gave this a massive thumbs up and his seal of approval!!
Swan song, it's delish.
Right out the gate 😍😍😍 Love it!!
Awesome reaction, thank you 🙏🦉❤️🐊👍
❤❤
The big push also do “Sympathy for the Devil” live in the streets.
They do “Paint it Black”
They do “War Pigs 🐷 “
They do “I shot the Sheriff”
Great content peace and Love from Australia mate ❤
My personal favorite! Gets my heart rate up for some reason…
Bongo bong
Ren, Gorran, and Romain ROCK!
Ren is a master at his art
I would love to live with them. They all lived together for a bit. Bongo Bong is on their rooftop, same as where Ren did Murderer. There's a cool video called Heroes where they were in lockdown and had all their fans send in videos during lockdown.
Awesome ❤ one my favs. ❤
Think you'd totally dig bongo bong. Romaine (Kermit voice) sings more on it and you'd enjoy his different tones
TBP is awesome. I love their video Xbox Marijuana, its fun and a great song. Thank you for the reaction.
Fisch, there's a country artist that no one talks about and he is my absolute favorite. Please consider looking at Tanner Usrey. A good song to review would be 'Josephine.' Promise you won't regret it and it will do well.
Love that song
Better than the original! They do that❤ " In perfect sync". Yes.
Thanks!
Thank you so much. I appreciate it a lot.
Love it so much
@@@@@@@@@@@@@ please react to Romain Axisa. Turn the lights down he's brilliant. Hus French accent was prevalent in this song. But hes range is amazing as well
Great harmonizing lol. Your voice is awesome
Romain is French, hence the accent.
Amazing reaction bro❤
I think Romain (the left guy) was giving high notes, you can hear it in their cover of "bongo bong")
If you liked these harmonies, you have GOT to check out "Swan Song" by The Big Push. Will blow you away.
Isn't it brilliant 🎶🔥
I would love to see you check out Romain - goodbye good days. It's so beautiful!! And than all the other big push recommendations!
Great reaction as always! They are an awesome band I think you would like Icarus
Yeah, they’re all stupidly good 😅
Just checked the Ren playlist and looks like you haven’t checked out Crutch feat. Bibi yet? Please do. It is one of my absolute favourite Ren songs and very different from everything else he has done. It’s an older song from before he was finally correctly diagnosed and was written after a breakdown following multiple emergency trips to the hospital. It is heart wrenching and beautiful. And it deserves way more attention.
(Sawn song ) by them, try that one💥💫🧡
Romain is French and his vocals and guitar skills are other worldly.
Same
Guy on the left is Romain Axisa, centre is Gorran Kendall. They both have stuff on YT worth checking out, Romain has more of the two but Gorran has a few tracks that give me Bob Dylan vibes. I'm down for you checking them out dude!
I shot the sherif/road to zion/hip hop (that particular title) and war pigs. Sweet little lady. Plenty of others, rens circle has more talent than all of mainstream music combined.
You need to react to dial drunk by Noah Kahn and post Malone
Romain sign like this because he is French. Born in Paris
Shot the sheriff, road to zion, hip hop. You are welcome
