For a solid WEEK this system dropped large and numerous tornadoes, starting in the usual Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas as it moved eastward Iowa, Indiana. This was an unprecedented series of outbreaks, all spawning large and dangerous tornadoes. How much more "timely" did she want? Basically she wasn't paying attention at all, for at least a week! As I type this, large destructive tornadoes are ripping across Tennessee!
These "news" people talking about trailers being "ripped" off their "foundation". Trailers have no foundation. At best they will have tie downs. What planet do they find these folks on?
I remember the 1980 tornado, and I just feel for you to have suffer from another tornado 44 years later... Ty for sharing, and I hope your damaged house is repaired quickly!!!
Tan caras que cuestan esas construcciones tan chafas ya deberían cambiar a edificaciones de concreto como en México porque ya hace un calor del carajos ya no hace tanto frío para tener casas desechables de madera
Why not build houses out of brick/reinforced concrete that are the best to withstand tornadoes? Have tornado shelters underground to keep people and small pets safe and some sort of underground storage shelter with ramps for livestock, horses, etc., so all life can be saved. Homes more able to withstand tornadoes to be built is the smart way, not wood or mobile homes that get flattened like matchsticks. Homes, structures can be rebuilt but never life.
@@cmerton Don't be a smart alec. It's good advice and suggestions. It should be done but I can't. Would be nice if the state or government put money into doing it or those in charge of building homes in that state.
@@retrosonghits majority of what you saw were mobile homes placed on blocks lol. maybe everyone should live in bomb shelters lol. Most houses in Michigan have concrete basements. you don't know much about tornadoes and their wind speeds. Yeah they don't even have the kind of stuff for livestock you mentioned in Tornado alley lol. You probably never priced concrete lately either lol. That is what insurance is for to rebuild homes. Michigan only averages about 14 tornadoes a season which is not very high compared to many states.
