Exotic superfood, never shown, multiple uses, extremely hard to harvest, lots of buzzwords, video on April 1st? Sure... 😅 I bet Nicole is trying to teach the audience a lesson.
I've heard of the urubu chilli, urubu bird [black vulture], an IPA beer called Urubu, a street named Urubu and even an album titled Urubu...but not the fruit. Sooooo...I'll play along for the April 1 reveal! Cheers...
I've actually had this fruit on several occasions. I was called as a missionary by the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints to this region and was transferred to a remote village to proselyte. We called on one particular hut and were invited to eat with the family. They served a variety of items they had harvested themselves from the jungle, including this fruit. I had always been somewhat overweight but astonishingly dropped 20 pounds within 10 days! My companion had premature baldness (we were both 20-years-old at the time) yet his hair came back within a week and had to get a haircut one week later. We've long since lost touch but last I heard, he grows his hair and donates 48" every month to an organization that makes wigs for children going through chemotherapy. This fruit is really a good as it sounds! In fact, it's even better than it sounds. One thing she forgot to mention is it actually causes men to grow taller by several inches and reduces the diameter of women's ankles anywhere from 10-35%!
Sad thing about most to almost all super foods till now is that they end up destroying the environment once export industry pick up, as they are over harvested. Never the less, definitely going to check in to see it, love your videos
This is an April fools joke, nice try Nicole! 🤣 You had me up until the only drone harvest with moisture-proof drone technology to get it before the monkeys do. Very very funny.
Thank you for clarifying this is an April fools joke, lol, I was thinking the entire time what a load of bologna this was and how it showed a lack of integrity to promote it, but knowing it’s a joke makes way more senses.
Please do a follow up as to where I can get this fruit when it becomes available in the US. Hopefully I will be able to find it somewhat close to a supermarket ( Publix or Whole Foods) in my area of 33155 zip code, or within a 8 - 10 mile radius? Thank you, Mark
I'm interested in this fruit! I'm actually working on plans for a proper greenhouse for plants like this. One day I hope to get whatever I need to grow them lol
I shared this video with my mom, L, who also subscribed! Thanks for providing easy, fun videos to learn about our food. I loved the episode about figs!
I'm way ahead of you on this. I tried the Urubu fruit some years ago while on fiasco in Bolivia and didn't at all care for it. It did, however, make my hair grow back.
Nice April fool's Prank. Realized when I clicked on the live cam link:-) Hmm you had me. Mango, strawberry and root beer combination? Should have doubted myself there.. haha.
Ok I was partially on board with this April Fool’s prank until we got to the part where it grows only at the base of a single waterfall yet is somehow produced in import-able quantities. Epic prank, although it does mess with the expectation that I expect Nicole to give us factual reporting about food, whereas “superfood” stories from traditional reporting outlets should always be met with a healthy dose of skepticism.
Oh my goodness I’m soooo excited. When we go to the grocery store we let our 3 young children pick out and try and new fruit or vegetable. They will be so excited to try this new fruit.
hi , I am zainab syed . I am thirteen 13 . i love your how does it grow videos . it was when me and my father had an competion of learning new information fruits and plants every week. we love your channel because you share a lot of information without wasting time and just gets in your head without any questions. it was you who made me love with science and plants. I also started a vegetable garden from your gardening series. thankyou for your hardwork and please make more videos . thankyou
This is Awesome, I can't wait for the next episode, I'm the biggest foodie and I get so excited when I hear about a new type of food I've never tried, I would love to go to the rainforest and hunt them myself and see the monkeys ,I❤️ your show😁💞💃
You mention root beer. Itd be good if you do a show on root beer, Sassafras. Of course they say it's carcinogenic, but if it is, it's probably from pollution. People used it hundreds of years and drank regularly in spring, never got cancer. My grandmother lived to 93, her mother 96. Which research like statistics often favor the opinion of whoever pays for it. If an elected official or many other variables were involved, blame sassafras. But like regular beer, they used to use asbestos filters, until called a carcinogen. But sassafras might be found to have a clean bill of health if properly evaluated. But there would be those who would poison the soil with something so it would have carcinogenic properties, that I know. Theres lots of wicked people. But Beautiful Wonder Wiman, it's in your hands, you can bring the Truth!😉
Correction to your comment about needing to combine plant foods to get all of the essential aminos! All plant foods actually contain all of the amino acids but combining them offers more balanced amounts of each of the amino acids. The way you explained may contribute to misinformation I feel like.
I just hope this potential new hype doesn't put further burden on an already heavily burdened ecosystem. And I also hope that the local people aren't basically chained like what happened with banana farmers, cocoa farmers etc. History doesn't exactly set a rose coloured example Edit: I clicked on the link, it's a joke Also I was wondering why she told us it's a plant with a lot of fibre and then a minute later said it's carb free 😂
@@TrueFoodTV Awesome, I cant wait. I used to grow them at my old house and I plan on growing them soon, but would love to see a video on a farm setting and all that. A lot of people dont know they are a flower, nor have ever seen them in bloom, and they are stunning.
I think your playing an April's Fool Joke! But if it's not, I'm hooked either way. :)
I had the chance of eating Urubu! it tastes amazing, especially thinly sliced on some unicorn meat! Yum!

You forgot to mention the fruit is the most effective penis enlargement supplement and can in fact cure micropenis.
I've had it as well with similar results. Different missionary group.
Thanks man for your input on it. Your a legend. May your blessings run over
It actually added 1” in length and .5 in girth
Almost got me! Definitely gave me a good laugh, so thanks for that.
I'm never going to give up on watching that harvest live cam, waiting for the flower to bloom.
I keep thinking this is an April fool but it’s March! Seems too good to be true and I’d love to try one one day!!
