Thanks Simone, the bit i was using was actually a 2mm drill bit at high speed. I did not realize that at the time i made the video and ordered some milling bits now. I found a set of small milling-bits on Aliexpress. The smallest i found was 2.8mm. Anyway, the drill-bit on high speed did work as well, but with the new milling-bit it would have been much faster ;-)
Hi Mort Raydan, glad you found it, I bought mine about 10 years ago, that was really the first time I used it ;-) but for this kind of work it works well. Am still thinking of buying a beltsander, on which I could also handle larger pieces
Not sure, my girlfriend was not so happy about it ;-) Depending on the Kydex it can leave a strong smell for some time. i found it better to heat it with a heatgun, as i have done in the video about the kydexsheath for the 400$ knive
Hi Mike, i bought the table 10 years ago in a set with the dremel in a local hardware-store. It is also from the trade-name dremel. Im actually planing on making a better workbench and want to integrate the dremel in the plate of the workbench by using one of those adapters: de.aliexpress.com/item/32986400684.html?algo_pvid=cdfed8e1-faf4-44ff-b71b-5ca28b0d9f47&algo_exp_id=cdfed8e1-faf4-44ff-b71b-5ca28b0d9f47-1&pdp_npi=3%40dis%21CHF%214.58%210.18%21%21%21%21%21%40211bd7d616810711726723225d07f1%2166831746968%21sea%21CH%210&curPageLogUid=GC4rDvaGYaBK basically all you need is a hole in the table and a adapter with the right thread to lock the dremel in place. Hope that helps, cheers

Awesome design, I really like that! I also love how you use the Dremel, very slick.
Thanks Stryker, well, if you don't have the right tools, a Dremel is always helpful ;-)
You are VERY talented with that Dremel router table setup. Nice design, very nice work.
Thank you John for your kind comment :-)
Next build-video will be a more simple sheath for a Fällkniven A1 survival knife
Very nice one, those cutouts blew me away 🎉
Very nice. I think some hand sanding on a flat surface may have improved the edges? Or a Dremel buffing wheel. Cool knife too
Thanks man, thats true 👍
how nice are these cutouts?!
i like them a lot… ☺️

Very nice design and execution. What bit are you using in the dremel? Do they make end mills that small?!?

Is it safe to stick kydex on your cooking oven? I am considering doing the same thing just wasn't sure since we use it to bake

With all due respect why did you make it with cutouts.
Hi Denny, i did them just because i wanted to, they have absolutely no purpose

Seems like a hazardous idea. Anything makes it way into the cutouts while sheathing the knife, it is going to act like a pair of scissors.
I think it would make a nice cigar cutter or nicer dicer 2.0 🙌
haha, nice one ;-)
