Hi there, I guess the honey leaves the cappings press through a hose. So: Lyson > extractor > sump > bottling tank > bottling machine? Any help would be amazing. Thanks.
Well, there is the option to do that but you need a pump to pull it through and back up to the sump. If you want to do it gravity fed, you could, but you would have to start high. I use a bucket to decant from the extractor/cappings press and place together into a 200 litre settling tank with a sieve. Does away with the need for a pump/sump so good for space saving. Works really well.
@@BlackMountainHoney Thank you for responding, you are helping so much. That makes perfect sense, a bucket from the cappings area. The extractor is separate from the Lyson and a hose goes from the extractor to the settling tank and the buckets of honey from the wax press get poured into the settler, which then goes to the bottling tank and then to my Neissenheider. Sound about right?
Great demonstration. You should rearrange the equipment so the process flows efficiently. Heavy boxes at one end. Empty boxes at the other. Relocate the extractor and tank. Lots of turning and walking and reaching the way you have it in the video. And likely lots of drips resulting in a very sticky floor.
Hi there! Loving this setup you have! I’d like to ask if you’ve ever used plastic frames with this machine? Maybe the plastic Apimaye frames? Thank you!
Looks simple to use and easy clean up, nice to have room but even more that you have the need. Perhaps doing frames for hobby bee keepers with a processing fee
@@BlackMountainHoney cheers,i know that you were saying you had dificulty sealing large holes in your ibc, isaw the wife had a 7 inch silicone cake mould/tin which would be ideal .
Thanks thought I was going mad l searched everywhere. I though we lived in a society of free speech but there are some strange people around sadly Anyway please keep the videos coming Steve
Hi Steve. To be fair, it wasnt the YT community but rather the FB groups who thought it was a cruel practise. I dont like any sort of conflict so just took the video down. Dont worry, the videos will continue :)
@profbinh Best to speak to Damian. Its their new chain fed premium uncapping line but you want the one with the extra groove rollers. He will know what I mean
Beautiful machine great information thanks 👍🏽🐝🐝🐝❤️❤️❤️❤️
Cheers Rick.
Brilliant demo don’t forget to show the wax capping screw please 👍
Cheers Steve. Wax cappings screw press will be a week tomorrow :)

Thanks also for the cleanness you stress.
Yes. Very important to stay on top of hygiene precautions in the extraction room

Do you still find the machine and extruder to be good equipment after a year use?

We do offer this service but have zero uptake on it.
Is the auto uncapper working as quiet as it sounds
Is the machine with extruder still 6-7 k in your area?
please would you tell me the total width including motors and electric box etc and total length, thankyou
Ill give it a measure next time I am up there. Its a behemoth though!

It takes for ever with your Equipment.
How do you mean?
I am also wondering what you mean by it takes forever? What is a faster way?
only 3 frames on the feeder it's a shame they can't feed 11 at a time I am sure it is not difficult to increase capacity... seem like a design flaw
Newer models are chain driven and take a full box
@@BlackMountainHoney which model at Abelo? if you can help thx
