Money rules. You just a kid with a rich daddy or grand daddy, you get the ride. I know plenty of drivers up here in the northeast who have diddly for money but could outrace these kids with money in their equipment and on their tracks any day of the week. When you have to pay for your own stuff, for the most part, you tend to be a little more respectful with it.

Martin Truex Jr. makes a VERY good point. Many of these young drivers never had to work to earn money to pay for a race car or pay to have it fixed or even worked on it themselves. I drove commercial for forty years driving vehicles owned by other people. Drive those trucks and care for them like you have to pay to have them fixed.

Because Sr raced for 27 years and rarely just dumped someone. People will say " He crashed people all the time" Then you ask them to name a time thats not Terry at Bristol, Waltrip at Richmond and Bodine a couple times in the late 80s and they usually have nothing. Most of the time when Earnhardt moved someone, they were slower than him. These days, Guys just completely miss the corner and run over cars that are as equally fast or faster.

    • @racemom2737
      @racemom2737 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

@@jesuschristislord6790 Preach. This is totally different than Earnhardt driving aggressive or hard. Earnhardt was in two tightly contested championships going into the final race of the season in 1980 and 1990 and he didn't dump the guy he was racing for the championship. He was up 29 points on Cale Yarborough going into the last race of the season in 1980 and he was up 6 points on Mark Martin going to Atlanta for the last race of the season. They raced each other hard and respect all day. Anti-Earnhardt fans want people to believe that he won all of his 76 Cup races and 7 Cup titles by bumping someone out of the way 900% of the time. If anything he was dumped by points leader Rusty Wallace at Rockingham in 1989 that cost him a lot of points not to mention the race before that Rick Rudd dive-bombed him at N. Wilkesboro on the last lap wrecking both and cost him the race and precious points.

This goes for everyone in the garage in cup and Xfinity too. The format makes you have to pull things like what Hamlin does, or how people turn people to the wall. Not a huge Truex fan but he is absolutely right on his assessment, NASCAR is turning into a bunch of rich kids with no hint of respect.

Martin is a true heads-up driver, who worked with his Father to learn the sport. Watch Andy J in arca that's how he grew up on the Modifieds. Delivering pizza for a living, and still does

I totally agreed with Truex's comments on Hocevar's crashing move on Heim but I want somebody to explain why Hamlin gets away with similar tactics trying to win a race he's just got more finesse in the way he does it and because of his experience he knows exactly the result he'll get when he does only to then hear him say I didn't mean it I call BULLSHIT

I don’t like intentionally wrecking someone but I don’t see the difference in what Hamlin does and what they done last weekend.

Hocervar should have been put a lap down for that. He did it on purpose and then "acted" like he didn't mean to on camera, he actually over "acted"!

No Martin is saying Daddy’s money and daddy’s friends like businesses to put on the side of the car got them everything. Talent in nascar not has happened since the early 2000s like 2000-2006 great for new talent

I would have never thought Carson would do something like that. It is really to bad.
I thought he was better than to do a Hamlin to him.. Carson drove like a Gibbs driver...

I honestly don’t know how or why Matt Crafton puts up with this series anymore. This guy raced with clas acts like Bobby Hamilton, Johnny Benson and Ron Hornaday.
Now he’s got to put up with these children, that haven’t even hit puberty yet, playing with millions of dollars of equipment like they’re amusement park bumper cars, and getting bailed out by all their sponsors, which who the hell knows why they even sponsor them at this point?
Surely, Matt has some money in the bank to hang up the fire suit and do something more tolerable with his time. Look at all the beef he’s had just in the past 2-3 seasons.

These children daddy’s can afford to pay for the bumper cars and bumper trucks at the bumper tracks now. The rides are pretty safe. So WHY NOT DRIVE THEM LIKE BUMPER CARS AND BUMPER TRUCKS?😊

The owners should take that money for the wrecked trucks and take it out their contract money, not if they were caught up in a crash but if they were the cause and then crashed. The fact they even let some of these idiots still race is beyond me. Its a joke. The announcers for the truck races suck too.

Martin Truex Is 100% Right. Some Of These Young Kids Come Up Born With A Silver Spoon In Their Mouths And Are Backed With Lots Of Money. They Think That When They Go Out On The Track, They Can Do Whatever They Want And Race However They Want. I Call These Drivers “Hammerheads”!! So You Boys…Race However The He’ll You Want Because If Or When You Move Up With The Real , Professional Men Of NASCAR, You Will Learn How To Respect These Drivers. They Will Not Take Any Of Your Bullshit, And Trust Me When I Say This… They Will Put You In Your Place And You Will Learn How To Respect Them!!!!!

I agree with his assessment of Hocevar's reaction being an act. They know there are cameras in the car just like reality TV stars change the way they behave because cameras are on them. It wasn't an honest reaction. It was an act so over the top that you cannot believe it was a real reaction.

    I will take the hate.
Watched since the 90's. I hardly watch the Winston Cuo anymore, way too boring.
The Busch race at Martinsville was great! Loved the Truck race last night.
If you don't want a 1 race shyt show, get rid of the dumb playoffs ending in 1 race.
If you don't understand the series names, please don't watch Nascar, watch F1
