Hey, you might want to rethink this video. Ebikes aren't allowed in Buff Creek, and if this blows up on certain FB groups it could attract unwanted attention from the forest service.
Haha yes I thought about this! Might put a disclaimer, don't ride E-MTB at buff Creek. As long as you're courteous and smart about it though, I've never had issues with people or rangers out there.
Electric bicycles (e-bikes) are not allowed on trails in the Buffalo Creek Recreation Area (BCRA) managed by the Buffalo Creek Mountain Bike Patrol (BCMBP). You give mountain bikers a bad name.
@@matthewhall8790 I also want to continue to use those trails. Did you know that most of those trails were created by dirt bikes? ie motor bikes? Not saying its ok to disobey the regulations but some might say they are outdated.
@@8660sophisto I've never had a problem with mx guys, they tend to follow the rules more than e bikers, I share trails with mx guys in Colorado Springs all the time. I know that Raspberry Ridge, Black Jack, and Little Scraggy were all built by mountain bike groups. I can't find any info that trails were built by mx guys, but that doesn't mean it's not true, but again, it's not mx guys that are out poaching these trails.

@@8660sophisto I want to continue to use those trails. Disrespecting our local regulations is how you lose trail access.

Lots of needle threading.
You need to tour that empty parking lot
Cant respect an ebike after I work hard to get to the top and you spend your ride making a video while the bike pushes you up. 😞
