Just got back. DANG. The camera lies. That last section through the valley, for example. Those slopes are CRAZY high compared to what I was expecting. There was a lot of "oh you are worn down a bit and want to take it easy on jumps?" HAHAHHAHAAH JUMP JUMP JUMP JUMP there is no escape! I'm WORKED. So different from the janky rides which I might like more? I think I just need to keep hammering away and learn this style.
I totally agree! If you're used to riding janky rut tracks and slow tech all the time, these trails may prove a bit of a challenge. Get used to leaning in to the turns and maxing out your speed for the jumps.
@@FoxtonR I brought my drone up there and got some good orientation video.. need to figure out editing and stuff. Also rode with a COMBA guy and got some great video of him talking about the project. 12 of 28 miles open and there will be a 10 man/bike gondola to the top of drop shaft from Argo in 2026. I had no idea.

Trail speed limit is what? On a clear run with no obstacles or speed limit what is your speed?
There is no speed limit for the trail, but each obstacle is built for a certain speed to clear them properly and that is considered "trail speed"
I’ll continue to enjoy riding with you via your GoPro . My bike riding will be on the street or non mountain riding trails/paths. 🚲
