foldape4 + hawkeye thumb raw

finally did a PID tune session with the foldape4 out of the box its got quite a bit of jello for the analog version, which forced me to print the tpu upside down suspended mount from thingiverse. that did the job for gyroflow, but, i wanted better results, ie, less zooming. this is no gyroflow raw file no colour grading with the supplied nd filter.

The ev100 goggles receiver is probably overheating. Ie 5v slowly failing. What antennas do you use?

@@highwaltage I used the linear antenna that came with the rx, later, I tried different antennas with no brand names actually but are omnidirectional - tried skew and clover leaf but no difference in signal quality however, I do see a bit of changes when use the circular polarized ones (Pagoda antenna) as they result in less total image loss when I yaw.
With the Linear Polarized one, I totally lose signal when the drone faces me no matter how close.
Also, I have patch antenna too and tried them on the goggles but to no difference really. So I'm guessing the issue is with the goggles.

@rapidnationfpv8431 the internal rx on ev100 isn't the best. I wonder if ev200 rx's will work....?

Sorry for the late response. I actually got no clue but I can look up some information on both Rx if they've got the same pads. But I'm thinking an Rx module with true diversity will work much better. I can just route that via the AV in jack. Read some modules are so cool that they even show signal strength!

hi , how good is the Signal strengt on analog? are you able to get far away Like more than one Kilometer , ans how is the GPS? thansk

@Russia_Germany all those things are dependant on your surroundings. I haven't pushed for Max range. But easy over 1km. Gps works as per 08 style. Over 1min for acquisition cold start. Up to 10mins.
