    Wow great footage! I live in this area and have been kayaking at Tuwanek, but have never dived under the water there. Years ago I tried scuba diving lessons while on vacation in the Caribbean and found it made me claustrophobic, however you have inspired me to try it again someday! Meanwhile I can sit in the comfort of home and enjoy the amazing sights.

      I totally understand that claustrophobic feeling - I've felt that before especially around caves or nooks! So glad the videos inspired you to try it again, however. Definitely another world full of beauty down there, and I always hope people are able to enjoy it and explore it however they can. :D

    Omg I'm so jealous! 🤪 What was it like to wear a drysuit?

    • @HollyPearson28
      @HollyPearson28  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is quite heavy and a bit chilly but all of that is quickly forgotten once under water :D

    Thank you so much for this ! I just moved to BC and would really like to find out how I can hop to a few or more places along the coast over a 2 - 4 week period this fall. Small ferries ? with or without vehicle ? I'm open . And accomodations can be very basic , I'm all about hostels, Band Bs whatever. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated . Ann ( originally from PEI)

      Thank you so much Bill! I love ferries as well. We took the ferry out of Horseshoe Bay, in West Vancouver over to Gibsons on the Sunshine Coast. The dive site is called Tuwanek. 😀

    Have you ever seen a shark in BC waters?

    • @HollyPearson28
      @HollyPearson28  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have seen dogfish which are in the shark family. They steer quite clear of us and are super shy so it doesn't happen often :)

    How deep you dive there?

    • @HollyPearson28
      @HollyPearson28  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I currently only dive to 18m/60ft because I am open water certified. Hoping to get my advanced next month to be able to dive deeper! However, I've loved seeing all of the life in the shallows with the kelp. 😀

    • @jeremykang1991
