quebec vlog ⁺₊❆⋆𐙚 | afternoon tea at fairmont, la buche, ciel restaurant, stay at hotel 71

hi everyone! here's the quebec vlog from when i visited there in mid-march for spring break~
we visited many places in the span of four days! it was so wonderful to wake up to a world of snow on day 2, but it was definitely very, very cold. if i were to visit again, i would really love to go in the fall, since it seems like the autumn leaves would be really beautiful.
we had so much italian food while we were there! this is all my fault because i love pasta and was always craving it... our hotel (hotel 71) was in a really great spot in the heart of old quebec, and our room was really nice with huge, beautiful windows. the only small complaint i had was that the lighting was very dark, and even when we turned on all the lights at night, it was too dark for my liking.
afternoon tea at the fairmont was such a great experience! i would recommend going there without having anything to eat beforehand, because we ended up getting really full from all the tea and the little snacks / food they give you! not a cheap experience, but it was very worth it in my opinion.
coming home was a bit of a nightmare... we were supposed to leave quebec the morning of the 23rd and get back in the evening on the same day. our plan was quebec to montreal to toronto to seattle, but montreal to toronto got cancelled :( we ended up getting on a plane from montreal to newark instead, but newark suddenly had an all-stop due to weather, so we had to get off of the plane, right as we were about to take off (they even told us to sit up straight in our seats and everything!) after a few hours of waiting, we got onto a plane to vancouver, stayed the night (and by night, i mean from 11pm to 5am) in vancouver, and then after several more delays at the vancouver airport, we got back to seattle at around noon on the 24th.
overall, it was a really wonderful trip, and i was so happy to have spent so much fun time and make so many memories with people who mean so much to me! quebec was a beautiful city, and i definitely want to go back again; once was not enough. thank you quebec for everything!

- carrefour des terroirs for more groceries

- bar artefact for drinks + dinner ($$$)
- pub l'oncle antoine for 2nd (cheaper)
day 3:
- la boutique de noel de quebec (christmas store from goblin kdrama)
- portofino, italian restaurant for lunch
- paillard cafe
- il matto, italian restaurant for dinner inside our hotel (absolutely delicious)
day 4:
- petit-champlain (shopping street with the goblin red door)
- afternoon tea at the fairmont
- ciel restaurant for dinner
