Exactly this. Weakness isn’t virtue. I know Aslan = Jesus, but remember that we are *supposed* to be like Jesus. Let’s remember that Jesus could’ve rained down fire on every single one of his accusers, but allowed Himself to be sacrificed for our sake. We should be both good *and* dangerous.

Scripture calls Jesus “meek” and so many people misunderstand what is meant by that. Someone who is meek isn’t weak and doesn’t lack confidence - no, a meek person is someone who has quiet confidence and self-control, and chooses to show restraint, mercy and grace. Someone who is at peace. Essentially the opposite of someone with a chip on their shoulder that flips out at the slightest provocation.

I like this a lot! It seems modern Christianity has taken too much of route of misinterpretation of thinking men need to be gentle and soft and non aggressive in certain ways. I don’t think that’s true. I think God designed men to be Warriors, kings, and protectors. There are so many stories in the Bible of God growing individuals into warriors. God himself is a warrior. But as warriors we must have our capacity to be dangerous under voluntary control. Thus the Lion and the Lamb which is the savior of the world.
