I can't be the only one who thinks it's hella rude to point a camera straight at somebody's face (strangers that aren't a part of your group) even while on a roller coaster. That would be so awkward for me. And you can tell those two didn't exactly enjoy it. If I was recording, I would have tried to sit in the front row to alleviate the situation entirely. That way you're not facing somebody like that when you're trying to record the ride. 🤷
I think it depends where you're from, a lot of Germans, so relevant to this video, really don't like being filmed without permission but how else will you get a POV of euro mir? 😂
@@samurai5589 it only starts spinning once you're at the top. The part where it's just going up the lift Hill you're literally just sitting there staring at the people across from you unless you're sitting in the front (or back) row which is the one that's facing forward with nobody in front of it. It's different to have a camera facing at you for a split second while the cars are spinning, rather than staring straight at someone for a prolonged period of time. That's just awkward.
@@tom-ch5ii like I said above, the ride doesn't start spinning until you get to the top of the lift hill. When they're going up that lift it is literally just staring at the people behind them. So if they were sitting in the front it would have alleviated that situation entirely because then it would just be spinning and people wouldn't have a camera facing straight at their face. I noticed this in videos they do at other places too, like when they were in Egypt. People were covering their faces when the camera was facing them even though they were just standing in the station videoing the ride sitting in the station. It obviously made people uncomfortable but they didn't seem to care. I couldn't do that to people. There's definitely cultural differences when it comes to cameras that I don't think is shown very much consideration in a lot of these videos when they go to different countries. Not knocking anybody down. I will always continue to watch these videos, but I definitely pay attention to other people's reactions when the cameras are facing them. Especially in other countries.
@@oceanairboy I would assume they asked them before. I dont know the privacy laws of the US, but in the EU and especially Germany its quite strict. You arent anyways allowed to take pictures or film single person without their permission unless they are part of a large group then it doesnt matter.

@@CoasterStudios I went 2 weeks ago and the view is amazing ! It was also interesting to notice once you get out of the tower (lift) that the inverted top hat of Voltron is heigher than Euro Mir which is not obvious when you are next or riding Voltron
I have never been to Europa Park, so I probably don't 'get' this ride yet. But I can't be the only one who thinks this thing is waste of space (pun intended) right? It looks ugly, it seems to be a janky old ride, it barely even spins and the theming seems outdated. Imagine an Xtreme Spinner in this spot! Great opportunity to remove Russia from the park too
