This is a really great video. I like the lighting and the way you explain things. You should do a video on the Rolex Daydate. I really love that watch and I would love to know how you review it. Thanks for starting this channel! I can't wait to be on this journey. I hit the "bell" so I will be watching!
Thank you, Blake! It has been a lot of fun to work on this channel. I would LOVE to do a Daydate or Datejust. Maybe I can get my hands on it in the future!
I have the exact same watch mate and I bloody love it! Had it for a few years now and it’s not going anywhere. Would love to get my hands on a Black Bay GMT next!
Good video! I got the Black Bay Black ref. 79220n with the ETA. It is my absolutely dreamwatch which i got for my lifetime. I like it way more than the big brother the Rolex Submariner. Keep up with the good work!
Thank you for watching! You definitely have a dream watch on many people's list. Well done! Tudor offers so much value. Sometimes it's nice to fly under the radar, and Tudor helps to do that more than Rolex.
Does the 79220 only have hand winding and time setting crown positions? Did Tudor remove the date setting stem position of the ETA 2824? No ghost date crown position on these watches?
@@horologyproject Thanks. This will help identify a potential replica watch or an authentic watch that had the movement replaced with a standard ETA 2824.
Great video. I have recently purchased the later version of this watch with the Tudor movement. I adore the looks and have the same leather strap. Is it a bit wider than ideal compared to yours, yes. If only they could have manufactured the new movement but lost a couple of millimetres in depth. For the money I really don’t think that anything else comes close.

Joseph Stuart I’ve tried on the black bay GMT. It’s a great watch. I think you’ll love it. Thanks for watching!
I have the BB black ETA, the blue dialled ETA is a good looking watch.

Agreed!
How much is this watch worth?
Not quite sure these days. I would guess 2.5-3k.
12.7mm compared to 14.5mm is not much when on wrist.
I think case shape is always a bigger factor.
