You have already got him under 50% by this time. In second Phase i feel pillar stance might do great - have been struggling with it.
Nothing against the OP of this video, but Pillar stance also requires a lot of practice. This boss doesn't just do ground level horizontal attack, but vertical attack as well. You don't just climb the pillar and enjoy invincibility. His vertical splash attack is easy to avoid without having to sprint or dodge, just kite left or right. But while on pillar, you will definitely get hit because you dont have enough time to cancel the pillar, drop down, and run. Another thing to beware, it does take time to climb the pillar. bruhhh you helped me so much thanks mannnn i was stuck for like two days
I got him close but after like 3 days and 8 or so hours stuck at this guy. no strategy is helping me close out the battle. no setup either. I give up. at this rate I'll need about 2-300 hours to beat it. just isnt worth the frustration
No I hav not. I kinda gave up. I want blame controller but I can’t beat first giant in SEKIRO SHADOWS DIE TWICE IM OLD bad eye sight. Had a stroke in visual lobe. So I hav blind spots. I miss stuff. Cod easy for me to play. The Witcher too. That’s so hard for me too
Thanks bro😭 you don’t know how long i’ve been stuck on this boss
Let’s be honest the PS5 version isn’t responsive enough for the combat the game is trying to accomplish I’m hoping that devs take a note from Spider-Man 2 and add skip scene or boss options because I feel like their holding us to a standard your game can’t handle I have to calculate my moves his moves and the button lag then to hear this punk water snake man talk mess is diabolical
Tried this build and killed him first go. Thank you very much 😊
😃
been stuck on this guy for 2 days and beat him thanks to this video
Thank you. This built helped. Was stuck there for quite some time.
Thanks for the tips. They worked second try.
Best guide ever. That stance makes alot of difference
bro said it’s a pretty easy fight😭☠️🙏 bro this boss is stronger than any boss in elden ring
Bro thank you so much this build absolutely saved me
Literally beat him first try after using your build, good shit
First try with your build helped thanks man
I’ve watched so many of ur guys vids on this. It doesn’t matter how I do it Stan max piller stance maxed
Thank you bro!! Worked my first try 🙏🏿
Nice work!
thanks ! Very helpful! I got him! Very helpful in second phase! I wanted to walk away .The longer I kept going back the better I got at his moves and mine..
It actually took me a week. At some point, I knew all of his moves-that’s probably the key. I was able to beat him in the first phase using only one spell and had all my transformations left for the second phase.
Thanks! I killed it after 30 tries :D
For me personally, the first stage is pretty much always doable, and in the second phase i just always wait for the dash attack, dodge and get a few hits in, dodge away and wait for the next dash. it might take a while, but the fights definetely doable if you dont rush the fight too much and play a bit more passive.
This boss was a MOTHER FKR!! First time I put him down, I was SUPER STOKED!!! Imagine my surprise when he stood back up like, Oh yeah.. Ok so we will do this fr this time... like WTF..
I fucking hate this boss, about to rage quit this bs game 😂
Level up, be more aggressive. This is isn't a game about waiting for specific small hits, if you don't combo him you won't get no damage in
@@frenchblooit's impossible to even complete a combo with taking a lot of damage
@@ryulanda9399 bruh I was looking up how to get a refund and I was about to get off the game and beat him lol I didn't do what this guy did in the video not saying it doesn't work I switch mine back to smash and when you do your last moves if the combo make sure if he moves aim that last combo at him
@@umarpin8809 be ready because quite a few bosses offer much more of a challenge than this guy...
@@frenchbloo damnn
Bro, am on level 34 and cant beat this sucker
35th attempt at Level 22 beat him. But this sucked some fun out of the game. Challenge is good, repetition not so much.
THANKS FOR TIPS BRO...!! I tried 50x before but after try your build only takes me 3 times to beat him... ✌🏻
This boss hard as nails he a ball breaker n I been killing bosses since Atari this one has the cake 🎂
Bro I've watched like 6 videos on this. Yours was the only video that got me through this boss. It only took 2 tries. Thanks so much!
Glad I could help
No words bro thanks just whooped this young man
Not gonna lie, this game is dumb, I've seen some others agree with me in the tracking it's dog shit, I cannot hit him with my heavy but he can track my every move, mechanics like that are what kill games for reolayablity fix it or refund me my 70$
And when I mean I cannot hit with my heavy as in it ALWAYS LANDS a singular inch in front of the enemy or boss, stationary or moving it's terrible
This boss was tough, that javelin through was brutal. Harder than the bear boss by a lot. I had to change my stats to beat him
Thank you so much!
SPOILERS! How come you are level 19? I am level 13 or 14 atm and I have already reached this boss. I have already killed all smaller bosses (monk, big head, budget wizard, frog), I've killed the big dog boss too obviously, I've wiped all the what does the fox say dudes as well as snakes, including skeletons. Have I missed some chunk of the level or something? There's no map, so there's a chance, but I am sure I wiped everything on my way and I am not even close to 19. This riverside Marilyn Manson is serving my arse on a silver plate, a bit frustrating, can't get past 50% of his health on a second stage.
Just keep going back and killing anything that moves. It will take a while but it`s the only way to get those skill points.
Best early farm is snake trail kill the snake guys their worth 175xp I'm lvl 20 haven't beat him yet but only tried 3 times so far
@@justinrichards3632 Yeah, I got to level 16 on the Snake Trail, tried him 12 times, still couldn't do it, went to sleep. The next day woke up and killed him the 1st try. Think it just needs to click and you'll get him. Good luck!
@@diablodima I'm level 52 still didn't finish chapter 1 I do farming for 16hours in chapter 1😁😁
just beat him today his second form was kicking my ass the next boss is hard asf too
Use strong stance for first phase, I combo stunned him multiple times with light attack. For second phase the strategy in the video is perfect, except try and save your transformation when his health gets low.
I found baiting the long distance stab attack the easiest way to beat this guy. Easy to roll through and can snag a couple of hits!
Sweet thanks ! Didn’t know you could switch stance lol
Holy shit dude thank you i finally beat it my god i was losing my shit
How do you heal your whole bar at the start? Mine only does little by little each time I drink the gourd.
So far, second hardest boss I’ve ever fought. First was Margit the fell omen from Elden ring (if u played Elden ring then u know what I’m talking about)
There is no blocking on this stupid ass game.
Hardest boss I ever fought: Hello how are you?
Ps5 input lag: Oh, I'm great how about yourself?
Goated I was stuck on him for 3 hours
I have two questions. How do you do so much damage with the light attack, and how do you restore so much health with a sip?
1. just my build and setup with my attributes. also have a curios armor piece witch increases critical hit chance
2.Trailblazer's Scarlet Gourd is how you heal you get it from the deluxe edition pre order
