Hey Chris! I haven't really watched your videos lately, so I don't know, but are you, all right? I hope you lost all of that weight for some health reason and you are not battling with something!
the author does like to from scratch, shaping and trimming wood from large blocks into fine finished products. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxD-QRFQz730FJEh4f9BYSf-nkIMIC9hL_ as another reviewer mentioned, most projects require a lot of high-dollar equipment that most of us dont have the room or budget for. But, knowing how to do these things, even if we wont be able to practice the full stack project, is still great.
i didn't realize until three minutes before the end that I was very much watching a long commercial. Did a good job of editing so that you really can't take a lot away from the video in terms of building this without getting the actual plans.
Everything about this is great. Stunning build with function and amazing aesthetics. You guys are great designers and creators, with humor and a panache for film editing too!
I’ve been watching your videos for about two years, and they’ve been really helpful when it comes to my anxiety. The way you film & edit your videos, your voice, and choice of background music are all very soothing.
This is te first video I watch in this channel. I have watched a lot of woodworking project videos yet you guys are the most detailed and easiest to understand.
very nice work. I also appreciate it that when you did your ad spot you keep showing us the video we came to see instead of forcing us to watch an ad embedded in the video. Touche
I don’t impress easily. I think I’m just jaded in general. But dude, this desk is breathtaking from every angle you think about it. Absolutely brilliant work in the entire process including just the design. This is amazing
You are extremely welcome. Thanks for showing us this stuff. You use a lot of the same red color straight edges and things related to that, what company makes those? They’re so nice
Congrats Chris, been a long time watcher (from the beginning) and have been wanting to build a desk like this for a while. Being a weekend woodworker (by this I mean a weekend once in a blue moon) I have been lying to myself thinking I could design and build a desk like this. Consider the video plans sold! This is the first time I purchase these, so excited and grateful they exist. Thanks again for all the phenomenal content and inspiration. Proud to be supporting!
I remember coming here when you had 20 000 subs, haven't watched your videos in a while and man, you grew up so much. Your woodworking has improved so much, the videos still are funny and better than ever. Thank you for your videos and keep it up 🙌
@Chris Salamone There are great channels on TH-cam but your channel is a whole different level. Congratulations for another beautiful production (creation) and thank you for sharing. I agree, a great desk. Those inner-bevels really put it over the top. The intro was great and as always, an enjoyable video. Interestingly enough, the "veneer prison" caught Shaun without a phone!
I started watching the channel because iI was building a end table. I kept watching the channel because the two of you make great content and exciting furniture. I will continue to watch because of the sweet a** shot of that truck, HAHAHA!!! Thanks for never disappointing. MORE TRUCK!!!
I have to say this is really in line with "Frank Loyd Wright" design, functional, practical (Transportable Capable) and just Beautiful.) I really enjoy your method of covering all of the Challenging aspects of Building pieces especially when you had to attach the Privacy panel! In addition you also made great use of latest and greatest tech Domino Break down Floating ten-non mechanism. Please keep up our channel just love it and it has inspired my creations of cabinetry
3 years late but I don't care! Better late than never! That idea & design of the desk with drawers is just purely great. I think this is the type of desk & drawer design that I've been looking for a gaming table, just make the drawer a bit wider(my personal reference). You'll have a wide enough and long spaces to move around with so you won't feel cluttered. A long keyboard & mouse mat, 2 monitor arm stand clamped on one side and a mic stand on the other. Still have enough room to put your other stuffs on it. Then the pc itself will be positioned on top of the drawer, no need to put it on the floor or on the edge of the table. I absolutely love the idea! 😍❤ #TheDesquire
Thank you for this design dear Chris Salomone, I made the same design with a cable management platform under the table and separated the drawer. I loved it !!
Chris,This is really nice and cogent . I was looking for something like this from last few days on TH-cam. and TH-cam suggested me this today. this is the best work i have seen so far. Congrats !
I enjoyed watching this. thanks to YT algorithm that this appeared in my profile. im not into woodworking but more into assemblying ikea furniture. im a big wood fan as grew up in a household where my parents had solid wood furnritures (using Nara wood). this edit is just really interesting to watch.
... when both content and form harmoniously go hand to hand ... Thank you for your videos, they have such a soothing power on my OCD! What about a follow up video with a monitor stand for one or two monitors?
I just found you and am really enjoying your videos. As an FYI, non-structural privacy panels are primarily for hiding things you would see if the person sitting at the desk was wearing a knee-length or shorter skirt.
It doesn't seem to matter how many times I watch these videos, I always seem to pick up something. Thanks Chris... And Shaun too. I mean he is eye candy but he's handy too. Someone has to hold the board while it's fixed in place. LOL JK! He's more funny than handy. Ion all honesty... You're both awesome 😁
What kind of finish do you normally use? Finish is a really important part some of us enjoy the technical talk of finishes since it determines the feel and finishing look. Thanks!
You should make a modern standing desk with hidden electronics/actuators. It would be so cool to see a normal-looking desk automatically change height with the push of a button.
That's fair. And that's what makes the world great. We're all different. Some people prefer to learn via projects like this...and those are the people that these plans are for.

Hey Chris! I haven't really watched your videos lately, so I don't know, but are you, all right? I hope you lost all of that weight for some health reason and you are not battling with something!
Hamza Hrid he said it correct it’s just misspelled in the video. It’s Edgardo 👍🏽
Is it easy to make a left-handed version using the existing plans? Right-hand desks are the bane of my life. 🤦
The Woodpecker tools are sooo pretty!!

It is so nice that plans come in both Accurate measurements and imperial measurements.
mallanac😂 it’s nice that the plans come in the thicknesses timber is cut and imperial. 😂🤨
Your builds are my 2020 therapy. keeps me sane, centered, and at peace. Thanks for making amazing works of art.
Haha i loved that intro, I wasn’t expecting that
Thanks. I think we have more fun from that stuff than anything else at this point :)
Love the bromance, surprised me

Your content continues to bring me joy during quarantine. Thank you.
Wow, thank you
Absolutely stunning design. I love the way you work with repeating angles and keeping a theme throughout the whole build. Great job Chris!
Thank you so much 😀
Another wonderful design well executed! I really dig the modularity of this piece. The angles give a lot of depth without adding actual weight.
Thanks...appreciate it :)
I’m not a woodworker (at all) but I love watching these videos. It’s a really calm way for me to learn a whole lot. Thank you!
thank you...appreciate that

Existem canais ótimos no TH-cam, mas o canal de vocês, está no nível superior.
Parabéns por mais uma bela produção e obrigado por compartilhar.

love the SketchUp animations for the detailed explanations
Thanks! They help to explain a lot :)
Wasn’t expecting a video from the woodworking dads today, what a pleasant surprise.
haha...and Shaun and me the dads?
Chris Salomone four sure.
This is WAY beyond my skill level, but it was a pleasure to watch it come together! Definitely inspiring for this noob!
I started watching the channel because iI was building a end table. I kept watching the channel because the two of you make great content and exciting furniture. I will continue to watch because of the sweet a** shot of that truck, HAHAHA!!! Thanks for never disappointing. MORE TRUCK!!!
Thanks Ken...yup...she's a sweet ride. Hard to beat the Honda Ridgeline ;)
From a marketing standpoint I still have no idea what Shaun/Chris are. But from a woodworking and entertainment standpoint I am wholly satiated
we're still trying to figure it out ourselves :)
Chris Salomone the dynamic between you two is perfect. When you figure it out pls hire me I’ll do anything 😭😭
I always enjoy your work but this desk is absolutely stunning. One of, if not your best ever.
Wow, thank you! Appreciate it :)
Insane video Chris! These skits keep getting better an better! You guys should make a second channel just for sit-com humor :)
Maybe one day!
love the mid century vibe of this desk! 👍
You two are absolute geniuses. 👏👏
This may be my new favorite project of yours. Really beautiful work.
Best TH-cam channel of all time
Thanks Jared :)
I love the style that this is built in. Midcentury modern is very cool
This is the first video I watched, and guess what I immediately subscribed... awesome 👌

Hhhhhhh the intro, I’m laughing the whole time through out this video, editing is perfect, so aesthetic
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed :)
People make fun of hipsters for perfectionism but they are very hard working dudes, they just need to see more sunlight outside of an eco-cafe
This was SICK , I never comment on videos but the perfection into your work blew me up....good work

Please do!

I love this desk. I also love your Rabbit pickup.
IKEA take notes from this guy
the perfect desk is one long enough and deep enough for your personal taste
... when both content and form harmoniously go hand to hand ...
Thank you for your videos, they have such a soothing power on my OCD!
What about a follow up video with a monitor stand for one or two monitors?
Comparing to what i've seen so far, this is a master piece.
i really like how you executed the sponsored segment in this video. i even watched it! but i could and i wouldn't lose too much of a content.
Thanks!
Love the Desk, love the laughs, love the Air Max 90’s... please bring back the acoustic guitar soundtrack.

Perfect design!!! Perfect building!!!
Chris, I love this desk and cabinet. It is simply elegant and functional.
Smiles and frowns on the panel glue-ups bro! I don't want that beautiful desk top curling on you over time!
I go pretty side up. I understand a lot of those rules, but I think they are drastically over blown.
I just found you and am really enjoying your videos.
As an FYI, non-structural privacy panels are primarily for hiding things you would see if the person sitting at the desk was wearing a knee-length or shorter skirt.
Great Pantry makeover. Only change I would make would be to add some LED puck lights under the first shelf about the base cabinets.
Wow just amazing! such a clean and beautiful design!!!
high-quality video, really enjoyable to watch you guys making a woodwork

Loved that bit at the beginning and al of the sudden, Shaun is right next to you. Ha ha. He’s a siddler! Give him a pack of tic-tacs!
