Gief having Mika's drop kick complete with wall bounce is strangely hilarious.
Mika freaking out in the audience, shouting Nadeshiko's ear out about how he learned it from her and she's so happy she could die.
That final combo just displays the beautiful evolution of Zangief through out the decades. It's quite incredible. Amazing job Desk!

@@24framedavinci39 Nowhere near as cool as the 22 and 25 hit combos Desk showed here. Gief has ascended into his final form in SF6.
The green hand is a staple of moving in on your prey and he’s really weaker without it

A very minor thing, but I hated how his cyclone lariat was animated in V (was his head even connected to his body?!) but now it looks much better. Zangief hype!
Yeah that animation was a little creepy

move of these combos are inefficient as hell and a huge waste of meter.
@Kurocon very useful for Gief seeing as it's harder for him to stay in so he needs to maximize those moments. I'll definitely be programming these into the hands.

Yeah, I actually cursed aloud at the fact that he nust casually has a fourth, "free"(-ish) super in terms of damage if he punish counters you in the corner. It's nice to see the running bear grab not be as useless as it almost always has been though, even if that damage is rather scary.

i fucking love how they un-goofed his tornado lariat move. i mean i loved how goofy it was before, but they did a great job making a "more realistic" version.

Funny thing is, if you remove some of the repeated drive rushes, a lot of these are super practical.

This game's style is giving me huge SF4 flashbacks, I'm loving it
It's amazing seeing what Drive Rush can do, even for Zangief's combos. Personally I liked the one at 1:27, I struggled to find anything that could follow up after his c.HP punish counter until now. That route may be situational, but it's cool that it's possible.
