Do you think “If he wanted to, he would” is valid in dating?

Probably accurate for everyone. "If they wanted to, they would." However can come off as a dismissive, condescending, and kinda "victim-blamey" thing to say to someone who's actually receiving a lot of very mixed signals. Yeah mixed signals = you should probably move on. just sometimes being on the receiving end of mixed signals can be painful and very mind f***ing especially if you like the person. plus you never truly know what a person's thinking. People need to hold themselves more accountable for not messing with people's minds instead of just expecting other people to read theirs.
Here's a mild example: A few years ago I knew this girl. We were acquaintances/maybe friends (platonic). I liked her. She started flirting with me. I asked her out. She said yes. I felt a little excited for the date and then I felt a little let down when she canceled at the last minute. But I thought, "That's okay," and I told myself, "If she wanted to, she would." Later that week she approached me when she saw me in person, acting happy to see me. She apologized for canceling the date so last-minute. She asked if we could reschedule. I said yes, choosing to give it one more chance. We went out and had a great time. She told me she liked me (we had known each other for a little while so it felt normal for her to say that on the "first date"). After the first date we ended up scheduling a second date. She did not show up at all to the second date. Didn't show up, didn't call, didn't text even when I sent her one text asking the "We were still on for tonight?" kind of question. At that point I just felt stupid, hurt, and a little confused even though I felt I knew what was going on (she wasn't actually that interested in me). She saw me again in person and she could tell I was acting stand-offish. She tried to "apologize," now offering some excuses that seemed a little lame for the situation. I told her I just didn't want to talk about it anymore and I wished her the best, and I moved on.
I feel like that was an example of a situation where she went a little too far. It's not like anything she did was a crime and it's not like I know everything about her or can read her mind. Maybe she really did have a valid excuse for acting that way. But honestly I think simply saying "She's just not that into you" doesn't excuse her mildly hurtful and not to mention impolite actions in that situation.

I love the idea of having to renew your marriage. It makes so much sense. Would prevent a lot of messy situations!

At the 1st pit stop on a road trip in my very clean car, my friend came out of the Subway/gas station combo with a giant tuna salad and thought she’d eat it while I was driving. I made her stand outside the car and eat it and I swear I could smell it for the next 100 miles. Who brings tuna into an enclosed space? Now I’m all wound up about it!

Once upon a time, I had sports lamps and decorations in my room, but at some point before high-school they just disappeared.

Great episode! Literally laughing the whole time. I love how Jared’s natural improv comedy comes out in his banter with Jordana. Anyone have a list of all the places Jared mentioned in his football speech? Lol. 😂 Would love to visit. Come do a UUp show near Tampa Bay! ❤

The person probably had a hearing problem and needed to protect their ears. I've seen lots of people do this, they can still hear the show it's just about ear protection.

I hate Jared's opinions now that he's single. Ask a guy out when he's obviously not interested? It's fine for older men to date much much younger women? Unsubscribed, unfollowed.
