DMX was the only rapper that would cry with emotion and NO ONE EVER clowned him for it. In fact, he gain sooo much respect because of how real he was with his beliefs and personal struggles. Very few are as real as he was.
Niggaz didn't clown him cuz he had us crying! My first 2 concerts were in '99 when I was 14. The Hard Knock Life & Cash Money/Ruff Ryders Tour. DMX finished his set with a prayer. Niggaz went from goin hype as fu¢k cuz X knew how to work the crowd n his stage presence was masterful to havin niggaz crying from praying
He painted a picture with his words we never know what somebody else is going through but I've learned whatever I'm going through God has me & I try 2 be kind 2 everybody nomatter the color of there skin rest in paradise DMX
Idk if you know but DMX was a rapper that many rappers were literally scared of because he was so humble but he can get very violent too but he was a good man, R.I.P EARL AKA DMX
DMX was such a unique artist. Grew up on his music. He is very much missed. In all his albums he had a prayer and a song dedicated to the Almighty. Great reaction. When you can check out DMX-Angel, DMX-Lord give me a sign, DMX-Ayo kato.
Dark Man X... Was sooo deep!!!! IMO, it's not about being a religious person BUT, it's about having a relationship with God! My top 3 favorite rappers are all angels now. 1. Tupac 2. DMX 3. Nipsey Hussle ALL 3 of them were very prolific!!!
On the other side have you checked out Damien & The Omen. It’s a story of the devil talking to him trying to influence him. I forget which is first but if you check the album order you’ll see
I'm going just go out on a limb and say DMX is the greatest rapper of all time with no exaggeration 💯. What other rappers you know that puts prayers in their music and say it live on stage? And can get the crowd happy and cheery one minute and to get them crying real tears, whether your a religious person or not? And that's what I mean, DMX was definitely something special and he deserves more recognition 💯💯. Even from beyond the grave, he still blessing us with good music. Five Finger Death Punch came out with a song called "This Is The Way" featuring DMX and its number 1 in the billboard right now. I reccomend reacting to that because even in the Rock category, he's kicking ass🔥🔥🔥🔥😎🌹🌹🌹🌹✝️🙌🏾
I was in the NOI when I first heard him in 1998. DMX introduced me to our Lord & Savoir Jesus Christ & I converted to Christianity in 1999. I'm a Catholic & prob a different denomination than DMX but I prob wouldn't be a follower of Christ without DMX.
Hi Metro It's Bongani again from South Africa, I want to say DMX and Tupac where huge blessing to us black people.but the world never appreciated them when they were here. Those two man helped me a lot in my life, they made me trust God. RIP Tupac and DMX no one will be like them ever.
not just black people ....... im a 36 year old white dude from Europe but i have both DMX's logo ; and 2pac's face tatoo'ed on my arms ; They didnt just do alot for black people ; they did alot for EVERY person that feels the struggle of life; their music got me through somuch shit in my life ,
I'm sure someone has mentioned this to you, but DMX first 2 albums went no.1 in the SAME YEAR (the only other rappers in history to do that is 2pac & Jayz) . The albums were "Its Dark and Hell is Hot" and "Flesh of my Flesh Blood of my Blood", both went no.1 in 1998. What's also interesting is that he was the only artist (in any genre) to achieve that milestone in 1998 and yet he was not nominated for a Grammy that year. As a matter of fact, Jay z actually boycotted the Grammys because DMX wasn't even nominated and surprisingly, Jayz actually won that year(his first Grammy ever) for 'Best Rap Album', and he didn't show up. ** Just a little Hip Hop History.**
I love all DMX music but I will give you one of my favorites as a recommendation for your next DMX reaction. Angel: th-cam.com/video/nTzUfHAulX8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=3YHwxON2NHqKFu9o
Exploring hip-hop and rap has been a deeply enlightening journey. I've discovered how artists channel their experiences into powerful lyrics, offering insights into systemic racism and its impacts on society. This dive has broadened my empathy and understanding, teaching me to look beyond the surface of the music to appreciate its profound cultural significance.
As a christian, watching his spiritual journey, and his struggle with his demons, was always moving. I regret not listening to him more. I came across this video after he passed and it brought a tear to my eye, it's not a song, just him reading scripture and, pretty much, giving a sermon! th-cam.com/video/LbN4ABVPp5k/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Xt53-mnNEBZdegxG "Lord Give Me A Sign" is another classic song where he bares his spiritual side. There's been quite a few tortured souls in music, R Kelly actually did a whole gospel album which I liked at the time. I think a generation before them it was artists like Al Green and Aretha Franlkin,.I guess that there's a certain peace that money and fame can't bring. For DMX's more rugged side,: "Ruff Ryders' Anthem", "X Gon' Give It To Ya", "Who We Be ", "How's It Goin' Down", "What They Really Want", and of course "Party Up (Up In Here)", even if you never heard the whole song, the beat and hook gets played everywhere! All have videos too.

The fact that you're speechless tells his message was received. Awesome reaction
X was such an interesting artist. He could be barking on one track and praying on the next... RIP.
Crystal Clear
He was the best artist as far as encapsulating the extreme ying and yang of the soul of someone from the streets
1 of 1 artist.
He painted a picture with his words we never know what somebody else is going through but I've learned whatever I'm going through God has me & I try 2 be kind 2 everybody nomatter the color of there skin rest in paradise DMX
OmG this is DEEP🥹🥹
