Just found your channel, love the vids!
Thanks so much, man. Much appreciated!
Nice video. Kids appreciate you releasing some fish.
Yup, so glad the walleye populations remain strong in PA for the next generation, thanks for watching! 🙏
very good video, would love to see a warmer weather trip, I have a tough time putting together a multi walleye day there one or two, best day there was 3 look forward to more pyma area trips!! (subbed)
Thanks so much, Joe. I'm actually just finishing a trip to Pyma this weekend. Worked my butt off to find the 'eyes. Had to go into the shallows, 3-4 feet only, & thick weeds to the surface, trolled through it somehow, in bright sunlight, but they were there. Had to, because there was nothing suspended or on the drop offs. I'll be posting this one next week. Thanks for watching!
Awesome video!!
Quick question…
Are you drifting over these humps or are you anchored when you find them?
I'm always drifting, haven't caught anything decent anchoring, but I've seen some practically fill a cooler with perch from one anchored spot. thanks for watching!
@@YFAwithToddthanks for the reply!
That was a busy trip, Todd. Nice job hooking up with those walleye. 21” is a great size. Saw you snuck the perch and smallie in there, sweet. I’m gonna leave that nickname alone 😂
hahaha, thanks Tony!
Those double ups were wild! Great vid man
Thanks so much, man! Really appreciate the support 🫵🙏
Good content. I've grown up mostly pan fish and bass fishing. Been wanting to go after some walleye. Just bought my first boat. The family always had one growing up but I've only been in a kayak for a few years. Hopefully gonna get out a few afternoons this week and the weather should be a repeat of what you had here so the info is much appreciated.
Hey Dan! congrats on the boat, I kayak as well but it's so nice to be able to stand up and move around on the water. Always great to have the kayak as a back up, too. Thanks for watching!
Awesome stuff Todd ! Crushed it out there. Slamming those walleye. Things got dicey hahaha with those 2 hooked up at the same time in the middle of the video. Great information all around. You'll really put people on some fish on that lake. 👊
Thanks so much, Jared! Really appreciate the support! 🙏🫵
That was a great outing. Your straight up murdering those walleyes! That's more than I caught all last year in just one trip. I got some new finesse jigs that I want to try this spring. The bite is on!
Thanks, Rob! Pyma's been hot, no doubt. I'm looking forward to your vid once you try your new finesse jigs. Thanks for watching!
Nice vid! What rod and reel is that?
Thanks man! The 6 pound fluoro rig got most of the action: St. croix medium light, walleye series, 7'. w/ 6 pound straight fluoro. The other is a st. croix medium light, 8 feet, with a shimano sahara 2500, 8 lb braid with a 8 pound fluoro leader. Thanks for watching!
Where can I get that topography map? I love pymatuning but don't do well there fishing. It's possible that's because I am there during the hotter times of year. And also because I don't know what I'm doing. 😆
Hahaha, love your modesty! For maps, just do a google search of the name of any lake (here, "pymatuning") and "depth" and "map." Scroll to down to the link for GPS nautical charts, and boom! You can also search the GPS nautical site directly, but Google searches are more accurate, somehow. Shows boat launches and fish attractor locations. Here's the google result for Pyma:

Thanks for watching!
During the warmer months there's often a current that brings baitfish through the causeway. It's a natural choke point. Fishing the rocks and pylons you can get into anything there. You just have to be respectful to the people fishing from the bridge. There's also some pretty thick pads up around the linesville campgrounds that hold some big bass if you have the patience and heavy line to flip a jig or drag a frog through that stuff.
@@danquirke443 thanks, I tend be fishing the shore at Jamestown campground or in a small boat in that area. I'm nervous to go too far in that boat.
@leekflower1 if you put in by the Hinesville Campground the pads are just a short paddle around the corner.
Do you ever fish Wilhelm? Upper, lower??
I have not. I'll be doing some 2-lakes-in-one day trips (with Mosquito and Arthur and Wilhelm relatively close to each other), so Wilhelm will likely get worked into the mix. thanks for watching!
Man, I grew up fishing Wilhelm as a kid/teenager. Haven't been there in probably 25 years. It's definitely on the list to get to this year.
