Thanks. I am impressed, but... if I open more than one valve at a time... it's awful. There are 3 valves one one line. so I have to keep that in mind if I'm going to use a sprinkler, and someone else uses the pressure sprayer.

I would recommend always laying caution tape of some sort a few inches above any underground lines. In future, if you dig up a piece of the tape, you know you found something you forgot.

    • @RossOnTheLand

That is a very good idea. Thank you.

You can actually get a foil type too as well. Making it east with a cheap metal detector to actually mark out the path of underground utilities for future jobs.

    Hi Ross,
I have a new BX23S coming in a few days. Never had but always wanted a small tractor. If I’d bought one 20 years ago I would probably still have all my OEM joints. 😁 I’m in my late 60s so I need this tractor now. Still have lots of work to do! Your videos help me learn the techniques and capabilities of this tractor. Thanks!
    Henry

Henry! Omg that's amazing. I wished I got a tractor many years prior as well. I'm so happy to hear you are enjoying my channel, please let me know if there is anything specific I can help with, and don't hesitate to contact me if you'd like specific questions answered. I will say the BX is the best purchase I've ever made. Thank you.

If the weather is not too cold tomorrow I will be practicing with the backhoe on my BX23s. I have to get the snow moved that fell off of the workshop roof, now that it is frozen. I hope it will dig easier than when I used a pick axe. Thanks for the idea on the water line. Pet, Ont.

You are welcome! Thanks for watching, I love the backhoe on my BX. Looking forward to using it more this coming summer as I'm digging a 200 foot trench 5 feet deep to run water to my farm. That'll be a giant test for backhoe, and great experience.

Thank you very much, i purchased the BX23s mainly for the front snow blower. I used to use a sxs with a plow, and that took forever, so I wanted a snowblower and this fit the bill. The backhoe was an extra bonus. I appreciate the kind words.

Haha! I just dug an eighty foot trench, about two feet deep, to a 32’ RV trailer that’s on our property for the summer. Electric 3#10 Teck cable, 1/2” pex line for water (I slid the pex into a 3/4” irrigation pipe to protect the pex), and of course the most important service: internet. The pipe will have to be blown out or removed before winter. The BX23S was the star of it all; making the job possible.

Are you on a well and if so how do you have such good water pressure? Do you have a larger pressure tank?

    • @RossOnTheLand

Hello John, thank you for the subscription and the question. We are on well, our pressure tank is 20 gallons/76 Liters. I am pleased with the pressure, but do notice a drop if more than one faucet or tap is being used at once. But very happy with it. Let me know if you have any more questions.

I'd suggest you look and follow your pipes to see how your pipes are set up. My interior pipes go through our water filtration system, and our exterior pipes do not. So there might be buildups in the pipes. Mine separate before the filter.

Man, turn the around. If you’re going straight the keep wheels or whatever way you need to go. Dig in neutral with no park brake. Lift stabilizers while the dipper stick is in the ground and pouch the tractor forward left or right. Might feel like you’re gonna tip over but practice. Make your digging a lot faster.
