The more videos I watch, the more I am like you in terms of thinking as a Controller Main. Both the way you use smokes, and play with teammates is what I wish to do, but people ignore me, so I resort to playing basic defence set-up, or playing aggro by myself. I main Omen so usually I can never really do those double site smokes that you showed in the first clips, so that is unfortunate. Another thing I noticed is how you only have your map showing 3/4 of it, whereas videos from Immo-Rad all show to have it 4/4, which don't make sense to me. As long as you pay attention the the game and have decent map awareness, there is no need to have 4/4 map zoom.
Trust me, youll want the full map info if your playing across the map and your teammates are bad at giving info. Also, if your are across the map, you have the luxury of safely looking at minimap to get full map info for your teammates stuck in fights they cant get. As a controller main, you dictate the pace of the game and are the best role for IGL. Dont pass up that info up

ive never missed with my minimap! pretty sure its just on default, but honestly the 4/4 zoom makes more sense! ill be switching!
