So I had to check out your site. I bumped into you at the Marathon in Levering Michigan Tuesday night. I had to check but the old Honda 4 wheeler I told you about was I believe a 1986 Fourtrax 350. It had full time 4 wheel drive and was built like a tank. Well have fun and stay safe.

Thanks! Those old 4 wheelers were awesome, it really is amazing how far they have come.

Good video. Just ordered the relay as some of my accessories have relays but not all.

Where do you run the accessory wire coming out of the rocker switch to? Have one of these setups coming on Monday and can’t seem to find any video that clarifies where the accessory wire coming out of the rocker switch goes

What gauge wire did you use from the buss bar to relay? And from relay to fuse block? Any link to buy suggested wire?
Thanks for the video!!! Much needed and appreciated.

Could you not use the relay that way your stuff would work with the key off?

I am curious about that as well.

Great video gents. I’m wiring essentially the same setup. This might be a dumb question but would this beefy continuous relay eliminate the need for individual relays for my switches? I’m talking 1 10” light bar and some underglow.

I’m still running a relay on my lightbar just to be safe

Offroad Trolls Thanks. Last question, did you recommend a circuit breaker where this lead goes back to the battery?

I did not put one in but also a little extra protection is never a bad idea, but I wouldn’t say it is absolutely necessary

@@OffroadTrolls great videos. Doing the same; however with the limited room I’m curious where did you put the relays required for the LED lights? Thank you.

Mine is working great still, we have done this same set up in 4 machines now and all are working flawlessly so far, that sucks that you got a bad one

I like your video a lot I just have one question where are you drawing your power from for that other fuse panel

    • @OffroadTrolls
      @OffroadTrolls  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

We pulled power from the constant power side of the bus bar but used a relay triggered by the key on power from the bus bar so the fuse box only has power with the key on

where did you get that metal bracket?

I made it myself out of flat stock steal from the hardware store

Why a 200 amp relay? Would a 80 amp or 100 suffice? Good video.

Honestly?? It was a good deal on Amazon, and a little extra power never hurts, plus leaves open the possibility of bigger and badder accessories in the future

Where do you mount all the individual relays for the light bar, etc? Nice clean install on the fuse panel! Just trying to get an idea of where to stick 3-5 relays for lights
