Great job on the song (which is the important thing here) but as to your Peter Paul Mary/Metallica comment saying 'Nuff said', I reject that. Go back a couple of years before PPM and give credit to the GREAT Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem singing this song. Roots, man, roots!!! Are ye in the mood for singing? God bless, Tommy, Patty, Liam and TM!!!
Kieran, we are an American acoustic group that gets to play Irish music for two or three weeks a year, and can't wait for that time to come every year. All three of us LOVE the Clancy Brothers and Tommy. This year we played "Whistling Gypsy," "Roddy McCorley," "Tell Me Ma." The Moonshiner" and the wonderful "Four Green Fields." Metallica of course, took their "Whiskey" from Thin Lizzy, and I could easily be convinced that Peter, Paul and Mary took their "Gilgarra Mountain" from the Clancy's. We primarily perform for general audiences who don't know about Thin Lizzy and may not be all that familiar with the Clancy's. We meant no offense, thanks for checking in!
Это было красиво!
Hey I'm Irish and Ukrainian ukrainians and Irish seem to have a connection don't we
See a few .Metallica comments. Give credit where credits due. Don't forget this is an Irish pub song, and made famous buy Thin Lizzy!
Lovely!
Un grand classique. Génial !
Oh, that was indeed grand!
An Irishman here, 👍👍👍
Thanks for the thumbs!
Where would I be able to purchase CD's. ?
@@frankcolliton10 Sad to say we currently have no distributor for physical CDs. The one we were using went under a few years ago.
This was uploaded the day before St. Patrick's Day.
The performance itself took place on the evening of March 15. We are pleased to have so many views since it was uploaded!

Yeah but can you guys sing the 1864 civil War Irish Union soldier version
called We'll Fight for Uncle Sam
A fine suggestion. Just had a look at the David Kincaid version!
Just fantastic
Thanks for coming onboard the Lost Radio Rounders train!
