As a Leeds fan I used to think this guy was over rated after seeing a few quiet games for England, but the more I’ve watched him he’s just immense absolute rolls Royce really proved me wrong.

What a player Declan Rice is, never use to understand the hype about him but after watching him in Euro's and this season. One solid composed efficient player who could walk into any team. Him and our KP in the middle of England we just don't realise how solid and lucky we are to have both. Great club West Ham fully deserve top 4 this season! Leeds Fan

Full credit to Leeds . They are a better side than there league position suggests . Exploited our obvious weaknesses & really opened our eyes , as to what we need to bring in to the club . Liked the way he dismissed the reporters claim about playing Tuesday being a factor, good honest footballer got a lot of respect for him. We had 7 teenagers on the bench today so got problems of our own but no one’s making excuses just delighted we won was a really good entertaining match!

As a Leeds fan I think Phillips is a great player, however the more I watch Rice, I think to myself if Phillips is worth £60 million what the hell is this guy worth. Put him in that Man City team and they would never get beaten again.

Watching today's game I finally conceded that Dec will/needs to leave us for a massive team. He's getting better every week and rarely puts a foot wrong but the players around him can't keep up. Maybe if we get some more top quality players in during this window and in the summer I'll change my mind, doubt it though.
I was thinking exactly the same thing today. He's on another level to the rest of 'em, thats gotta be a frustrating in itself.
bro he was best player on pitch by far but I'm going to say this...he needs to learn about how he plays can affect his team at times like today...bombing forward like that leaving lanzini as a last line of defence before a weakened second string defence....only to keep giving the ball to feet of players that for 60 mins have been giving away the ball, thats not clever he should realise this and been more disciplined actually ....as in win the ball, play the ball to the ball player lanzini n and sit n cover his back 4!!! a lot to learn still actually, although on the eye as an indivitual player on the ball...no complaints world class potential skill set.
Hope Rice stays at West Ham for a very long time. In same way I hope KP stays with us

Fair appraisal of the match from a class player. Shame his manager isn't as honest. Leeds had 7 first team players missing and lost 2 more after 20 minutes and still outplayed West Ham. Moyes was out thought by Bielsa & couldn't accept that the best team on the day won. The extra game midweek rant was to cover his and his teams failings.

It was always going to be a really tough game against Leeds. They’re a quality team and you can’t afford to make mistakes which we did do and Leeds are good enough to punish for that.
