We need to rest a few, the chances of winning 15 on the trot, would be too much pressure, best be spot on for the playoffs, and final...
Personally i would like to see us make multiple changes giving Mings, Taylor, Elmo, Whealen, McGinn, Grealish, El Gharzi a rest against Leeds as this game could be damaging to us due to the fact that Leeds are still scrambling for automatic promotion even if their chances are minimal currently but if we rest our main core of our first team and give the fringe players and players returning from injury game time that will only benefit the squad as a whole. Especially if any of them shine and add their name for a possible starting 11 selection increasing the competition for places leading into the playoffs. Additionally we may still get a result with our squad players a draw or even a win and if so and we met Leeds in the Playoff final imagine the physiological effect that would have on the Leeds players and fans knowing that in the final if we make it that we are coming with our first 11. Even if knowing that we lose and stay competitive it will still have an affect on them knowing that we will be coming much stronger second time round. Additionally we don't need to be flaunting our strengths to Leeds this close to a potential Playoff final as this will give them a chance to plan to counter that in the final and if our starting 11 struggles or even loses then it will have a negative effect on us especially as they are the team with jitters and are playing under pressure as where we are playing from now till the end of the regular season with the pressure off. Also if Leeds do beat us and they still have a fighting chance on the last day of the season and fail to catch Sheff Utd then the heart break for them has been increased. If they lose to us and are out of the running after the weekend they will have a couple weeks to regroup and refocus for the playoffs so the less time they have to 100% focus on the playoffs the better. Alternatively if Leeds beat us and magically catch Sheff Utd then Sheff Utd will be even more broken than Leeds will be and would fail to regroup for even the playoff semis and if we end up with a Derby or Middlesborough in the final not taking WBA for granted we have a physiological edge already over both those teams based on performances against them already this season.
As wired into our team as we are as fans knowing the qualities that we have within the squad don't be blinkered by the fact that we have the best team in the league as Leeds, Sheff Utd, Middlesborough, WBA have handy teams and talented players just ask their fans. Now more than ever this season the physiological battle of the big hitters in the playoffs and teams is important and what we cant have is our starting 11 playing on the weekend and possibly not performing and being beaten by Leeds who are playing under pressure as well as ensuring we don't pick up needless suspensions and injuries at this crucial time. McGinn & Grealish one through suspension and the later through injury both benefited and came back to the first team refreshed a ready to go after a rest so it will do them good. If Norwich confirm the title this weekend then the last game of the season even if they are still fighting for the title would be ideal to play all first team players now refreshed to give them the time needed to get their timing back for the games ahead. The winning run and reocord of the 10 games has been a joy but we must focus on the overall objective and i would love the run to continue but if we as a club see the run end on 14 wins and then lose the 15th game the objective for the season will not be met. As a club we should be looking at building for the future to try and ensure we don't have to wait 100 years for another run like this.
All good teams ensure that their fringe and squad players have the belief that they can break into the first team so the competition between players increases individual performances. Players out of the first team picture without that belief especially on contracts or futures not decided could lose heart and their minds refocus on what they will be doing next season rather than completing the goal at hand and if we do end up needing them in the playoffs mentally they wont be strong.
Lets forget about momentum and being worried about the affects this will have on us as a club. We are a massive club with big potential and even if we lose to Leeds and Norwich we should be confident enough with our squad and coaching team that they can get the 3 games in the playoffs right. If we are thinking that if our momentum with our winning run comes to an end before the playoffs we wont go up then we have to be honest and say we aren't good enough. The clubs got a few weeks now to plan and attack the playoffs whilst getting all players including squad and fringe players match sharp and ready for whats to come. Worst case scenario imagine we keep our winning run going by playing our strongest 11 and Mings, Grealish and McGinn pick up injuries as a Villa fan i know without one our task becomes a little harder not to mention if Steer picks up an injury.

@@porter7677 he had one blip recently when he spilt that free kick but some of his reflex saves were unbelievable in the last few games. I can now see why Norwich and Paul Lambert raved about this guy so much
