I'm just incredibly bothered by how many people called the police saying they "saw the boys" but they actually didn't do anything? Like, take the boys and keep them? Anything? It could have been just scams or worse, a lottery try for the reward money.
And these two boys are not alone. Day after day we see children in the streets begging and dismembered but we walk past them, praying that God will save them (I'm not an atheist) and do nothing about it. It's a shame that they had to start increasing the rewards pay for people to care about it.

This is why kids shouldn't complain about their parents worried about them going missing or not answering the phone for 10 seconds.
Edit: OKAY, FIRST OF ALL WHY DONT U GUYS UNDERSTAND THE SITUATION? If a parent calls a few times while their kid its out then it's fine, there's no reason to complain. But for example you went out for an hour, and u get calls every 2 minutes, then it's okay to complain, because ur parents can be overprotective at times and they need to calm down a bit. But in my situation, i find it annoying because there's always a 9-12 second gap each time I get calls from my parents. Then that is probably worth complaining a lot.

Previous years before two Malay boys about their age also disappeared. Later after several years one couple weny on holiday in India have met one of the boy who claimed he was kidnapped with another boy from Spore and brought to India by ship but his friend already passed away. Its so sad that the couple never take any rasional action to send that boy to Spore Embassy there but leaved the boy with some money only.

i think there's not much chance for them to be alive. IF they really were brought into a syndicate, they most likely would have been killed or abandoned for death after they no longer look pitiful... but the theory about the dad, they may be alive with another identity... their legally dead though, so not much hope

I don't know about Singapore's law but if I'm right (correct me if I'm not) in most countries police will only declare them missing and search for them 24 hours after they've gone missing with no news.
We don't know if they truly wait till night before calling the police, or if they call the police earlier but the search started later. And they were searching everywhere else while waiting for the police's search
