The grossest part of all this is that the victim’s family/friends had to deal with this man not only not facing the consequences of his crime but seeing him rise to a “celebrity” status and having to deal with seeing that book/graphic novel glorifying her murder. He was physically meek, he was ugly, he was very stupid and it showed when he talked. People glorified Ted bundy and dahmer because they were imposing and intelligent enough to have an air of menace. Them being handsome men also let the media run with a suave bad boy if they wanted. Others have an air of menace because they are physically imposing enough that their violent behavior is scary even if they don’t appear to be the brightest. Fish wasn’t physically imposing, but was smart enough to get away with it for a long time and with him being an old man made him feel like a fairy tale. A monster hidden in plain sight, one that you would trust happily. These are stories they can tell, but the truth is that they mostly lived pathetic lives usually had a sense of powerlessness imposed onto them and the killings and sadism were a means to feel like they had power for a change.
God, will say, my daughter was born 2 months premature and fit in the palm of my husband's hand....fvck...in the same month this fvcktard died...I need an exorcist

But you express how he’s just an incel pos who deserves nothing but pain. Thank you for not turning this a “look into the mind of a killer”. Who cares? He’s a monster.
Yes, some times people have a kind of fetish for serial killers, or they are to empathic and bring humanity to those that have none. What ever the case killers being glorified blows my mind. The Jeffery "doc" that came out on Netflix is a great example people watch that show and come out saying how "hot" he was.
Personally, the only subjective part i’ll ever take in the “look into the mind of a killer” is mainly questionnaire area, like- they’re a monster but why? What drove them? What kept them from reporting themselves? From stopping? Adrenaline? Pure desire? It’s almost something on the lines of interesting, horrifying, and crossing with morbid curiosity. Although practically simping and empathizing with the fuckers is idiotic and insensitive to the victims.
Unfortunately or fortunately(depending on how you look at this) a LOT of people care as these types of people are outliers, nobody cares about the victims because 99% of the time they are unremarkable in the great scheme of things. The only people who go down in history or appear in videos like this are never normal they either did something horrible or did something great no ordinary person could.
I think what i've learned after seeing a lot of true crime and studying it, is that ANYONE can turn into a killer. There are some killers that have broken childhoods and severely mentally ill or they can just be the average person. A lot of us can have dark thoughts and feelings akin to a monster. What's important is we don't praise or forget their ACTIONS AND BEHAVIOURS, that we don't forget the victims. Because at the end of the day these people acted on their thoughts instead of trying to be better. These people took lives that didn't need to be taken away. And we must not forget that even if we are to show empathy.

There’s a video by vice on this guy called “interview with a cannibal” that is literally a source of trauma for me. Seeing this video and your vicious mockery and hatred of this man has helped me sort through things I’ve been dealing with for years. Thanks papa meat!
Aaaa that was my first introduction to this psychopaths story too. I agree it was very traumatic ( I think I saw it at a youngish age) & was absolutely mortified
Man, you're so great at telling stories and putting a comedic and cartoonish spin on it. When you're telling stories i can imagine the meat canyon animation around it.
Unironically, he is a fascinating study. Because he was a _consequential_ cannibal. It was other fixations and fascinations that got him to be a cannibal rather than a direct infatuation with consumption. It goes to show how important it is to _actually_ treat mental disorders instead of dismissing certain kinds of people as just "dumb" or "different". Even just a life of ostracization for a particularly weird person can end up driving them to do truly horrible acts.
Indeed, while degrading him for his actions now is more than justified, he should've been sent to one of those asylums waaaaay before he even had the chance to enact a Killing
Humans are awful creatures, but morality on these issues is far too complicated. The weight of the sin of our species should not fall upon any one mans shoulders. As much sympathy as you had for the odd man out, is as much sympathy as he had for you. Do you think it's normal for a person to just outright have a normal thought process right out of the womb? And the best part is! You can't even control the brain chemistry you were born with! So you're fucked right out of the gate! Life is so painful, all the time, but the pain makes it ever so vivid. Eventually, you can't differentiate between pain and pleasure, and you get light psychosis, partial insanity. This is how these people are born, because of an absolutely messed up society that can't even spare a glance away from their cock rings and mercedes benz just to help and comfort a damaged individual.
Yea, but this society does NOT do that, and rather embraces "different "to am excessive degree. Everyone always crying about "oppression "but never went through school with a cleft lip in the late 80s/90s. Want to be "misunderstood, oppressed, different?" So bad, try living when it actually happened. This video exists because people are NOT saying that. And many random internet people clicked thumbs up near your comment bc people are obsessed with this ridiculous narrative. Oohhh life has been so hard, oppressive and traumatic. 😂waaaahhh
If he was let out back into public he'd be really easy to spot... It's weird to think nobody clubbed this guy. I think I would accept going to prison in exchange for the gratification of enacting mob justice on a cannibal killer. Maybe someone's dad could bail me out
Now that you've done a video on this guy, if you happen to do a spooky cartoon that shows stuff happening in the netherworld, please show this guy and his father having some horrific things being done to them. That would be pleasing.
Legit thought this would be about Nathaniel Bar Jonah. Kiddie cannibal who was let go in MA to be released to his mother in MT. Worked at local fast food joint & kidnapped kids to eat. Even made a cookbook of recipes. Kind of surprised almost no one in true crime YT has covered this one.
I remember reading a book that documented the acts of the guy who cooked up a little boy in an oven and wrote a letter to the boy's mum telling him what he'd done
Praising a cannibal is tame for the French literary space. Same country that made Gabriel Matzneff a millionaire for his heinous diary novels. They're problematic.
This is an amazing mixture of hilarity and outright unbridled disgust. While I can see some people being disturbed by the "comedic" part, I'm not one of them at all. You both softened the blow and told it exactly like it is, which imo is the best way to tell stories like this. And yeah I agree at the end there. It's sad we put these revolting people on a pedestal while their victims are lost to time.
Agreed. While normally you’d wish to divide and assign them among multiple people, occasionally one must play the roles of judge, jury and executioner all at once.
He looks like the scariest person ever and gives me the chills just seeing his lopsided eye. What kind of idiots worship someone like that. Your voiceover was so funny and perfectly fitting for that creep.
so, if someone commits a crime and kills a person, that individual may be executed. However, if someone commits a crime, kills a person, and then cannibalizes them, they may become famous and even be released, possibly even publishing a book about their experience. What on earth is this
13:14 i know you said B like B list but i legit understood the Bee movie 😂 big love papa, youre one of the only people able to make hilarious joke without going too far in a subject like that 👌😁
I never have sympathy for killers/predators that have a sad backstory. Like, I feel bad for the person/child that went though the sad backstory, but I have no empathy for what they became. We all have trauma. Lots of us feel ostracized for one reason or another. I felt alone and mocked and different when I was a kid. And you know what I DIDNT do? Become a serial killer. I wrote cringe poetry, I drew edgy art, and I cried about how alone I felt. And I grew and became more than I was and realized that I wasn't special, but I also wasn't alone. I listened to others and saw that so many people were feeling EXACTLY what I was feeling. Maybe colored a bit differently, but it was the same. I got better at poetry and art and I found comfort in horror movies and I shared my passions with others and I shared enough to eventually find people that thought it was cool. I show as much kindness and patients with others as I can because I know how horrible it makes me feel when others dont show it towards me. A tragic backstory is never an excuse to be a bad person. Closed off and a bit gruff? Sure, we all cope in our own way and it takes time to grow out of that bad space, but never cruel. Serial killers are not worth your sympathy or empathy, their victims however, deserved better.
That's the thing bout life, is everyone before you and after you has or will go through the same things you have. So toughen up a bit and stop crying about it
Great job - I'm so happy that you do what you do for a living. Your art is fantastic - but there's a lot more to your channels. You being a cool human comes across consistently and it's always a better day after one of your videos. Cheers!!
I was an outcast since I was 9. Moved to Florida. I was called retarded, gay, a drug addiction and more. People joked that I was the "don't come to school tomorrow kid" and y'know what happened? I didn't do this shit that's for sure. Maybe I'm a little jaded cause of it but I still don't want to hurt people or be a burden. So it's like you said in the video, there's no excuse for this level of evil.
I tell you papa meats it's a breath of fresh air hearing someone who's not trying to romanticize these sickos like high school girls "He would kill everyone besides me because he'll be so in love with me" BLAHHHHH. I'm sure he's in hell getting his ass eating out but not in the fun way.

You forgot to mention the part after his release that he made a porno film with some chick and it wasn't until after they had their "footage" that he showed her what he had done in graphic detail explaining what he did to a woman and the actor was trying so hard to hide how mortified she was and broke down in tears
Traffic detail?
@@hulkfan97 graphic, my bad
I heard about this many years ago. He ate that lady and complained about the fatty parts of her body, got away with it... And would hire Asian sex workers to do weird shit with him. He would tell them the story of what he did to that woman so he could see their reaction. He liked their fear.
OMG I WATCHED THOSE VIDEOS I didn’t know who he was so I didn’t know the full context, but he’s a genuine fcking psychopath

I could only imagine if papa meat was talking about this deep story only to be like "AND TODAY'S SPONSOR IS BAD DRAGON!"
2:15 "I may be a cannibal but IM NOT GAY"
I bet he broke whatever he was using to write "But, I wasn't HOMOSEXUAL" 5 + times in his fury
Even at 24 he looked like a 16 year old Labrador ready to be put down....funny video Papa Meat as always. Love your videos!
In the past couple weeks, you have become one of my favorite channels. I knew your animations existed but didn't really watch them. Then I heard in a podcast that you made this channel to put a face on the brand, and dang it really worked. I wouldn't be such a fan if it weren't for these videos. Thank you for the amazing content
was it the tmg pod? I found about Hunter from there too, like obvs I already knew about the meatcanyon channel because its huge, but didnt really know about the guy behind it, super glad cody and noel put hunter on my radar cause he's hilarious.
Please make more spooky videos, its like listening to my uncle tell scary campfire stories but i dont have to share a sleeping bag with him after. Love u big Papa 🖤
Naked and afraid episode ?
I love imagining your Uncle sounded exactly as Papa portrays this guy to sound. Makes me relate cuz this is, oddly enough, how all 3 of my uncles sounded. ❤
Have to share? I keep you warm on cold nights at great inconvenience to myself, and this is the thanks I get? I haven't been this disappointed since your brother escaped the basement.
UNCLE BADTOUCH
As a true crime addict, I still think this story is gruesome. No matter how many times you hear bout it, it still shouldn’t be forgotten how horrible it is and how much the victims are also forgotten.
Guys don't get me wrong, i love his animations, they're true art, but lidtening to him talking about random stuff on the Papa Meat channel just is so comforting and hilarious
You describing him struggling to hold a 7 pound gun had be in stitches
You were extra funny in this one. The reoccurring slug bit was perfect with the voice you chose.
Ive heard this story told so mant times through different youtube videos and podcasts. With out a dout this is the best one, you expressing your disgust, giving him the whiny weasel voice and focusing on the victim rather the most others who are glorifying him, has my utmost respect. Keep up the hard work you and your team.
@@DarkPrincessOfLight"mortified"? As in "extremely embarrassed"???
Terrified, mortified , petrified. Of you
That video is still up.
I didn't realize that papa meat had such moral integrity and strength until watching this
I love the Papa Meat channel. Literally could watch Hunter do anything
Literally.. my hours on this channel is actually fucking wild
9:06 SPLENDID!!
2:20 Apparently, Grace kelly's first TV role was...A show invented to advertise Kraft mac and cheese. What.
I mean, where's the meat? Where's the human meat, Grace?!?
😰
I love that you degrade the killer in hilarious ways
I've heard this story many times but you shamed the shit out of him so this is now my favorite
Fun fact: Ted Bundy was well known for being creepy. He said he was a lady's man in court and the media just went with it for the story
L take
@@sicthemutt I'm sorry you're too stupid for deep thought.

He made her sound rough as hell 💀
Love your channel. Not nearly enough "Fuck this guy" in the average serial killer documentary. Thanks for the fix.
Hunter making fun of killers might be my new favorite thing😂 the papameat channel is the best holy shit😂
What the fuck how have I never heard of this
Ah yes I always wondered what if you crossed Albert Fish with Westley Allan Dodd
My aunt was a guard where he was and guarded him personally a couple times. Freaked her out.
The voice he did for Sagawa fit so well and was fucking hilarious 😭
Cringe how his "rich" dad ended up not actually being rich? Makes me wonder if his parents got in debt to help his legal fees.
I remember reading a book that documented the acts of the guy who cooked up a little boy in an oven and wrote a letter to the boy's mum telling him what he'd done
Do you mean Ed Gein/Grace Budd? Now that is a wild ass story thatll give you nightmares

Idk why I still try to eat my dinner while watching these videos. Great work nonetheless
Praising a cannibal is tame for the French literary space. Same country that made Gabriel Matzneff a millionaire for his heinous diary novels.
They're problematic.
Aaah yes, my next Wikipedia horror spectacle with which I’ll wash down this other one.
Ah yes good old racism. Of course only the French did that.
And indeed because we talked about it, means it only exists at home.
I'm hoping to see another set of videos with you and Wendigoon this spooky season. Great work as always papa

4:11 High-key inspirational and needs to be mentioned more often.
thank you papa meat for blessing me a video as soon as i eat my lunch, i count my blessings.
10:31 Gives “eating ass” a whole new meaning….
*you win a gold medal!*
It's sad we put these revolting people on a pedestal while their victims are lost to time.

so, if someone commits a crime and kills a person, that individual may be executed. However, if someone commits a crime, kills a person, and then cannibalizes them, they may become famous and even be released, possibly even publishing a book about their experience. What on earth is this
Remember when a man in Japan married himself? He had a massive extravagent wedding and went to a altar with a mirror?

So toughen up a bit and stop crying about it
I wish I could choose who I felt bad for based on who tells me I should. That sounds like the tits.
Great job - I'm so happy that you do what you do for a living. Your art is fantastic - but there's a lot more to your channels. You being a cool human comes across consistently and it's always a better day after one of your videos. Cheers!!
11:00 markiplier?
It’s sad when killers like this don’t really get any kind of actual punishment, let alone one that makes them self reflect on what they’ve done
my fucking favourite part is how he's like "whoa no no no! now, i'm not gay! come on, i thought you'd think of me higher"

Papa meet oh, you have to make this into an episode of meatcanyon. And more bird-like like and frail. Give them exactly that voice. That would be one hell of a meatcanyon animated video. This is why I watch this channel, for the humor.
The only thing I would expect with this is if Sagawa meets Dexter Morgan.
Ive gotten hate for this before but the only thing about this case that genuinly completly disturbs me is that he got away and when back in japan was treated as A CELEBRTY!
